  1. Ah yes, it was fine. Jumping on top of buildings, climbing walls, keeping the flag up above everyone else thus effectively stalling the game, jumping extremely high in the air and winning RGB matches, jumping and flying for the ENTIRE map. (like on Massacre) Perfectly fine. Hoppers were breaking the game, abusing certain mechanics, and had no counter. It must be hard to play just like everyone else, now. I am using Paladin and I realize how broken its OD is. If it gets nerfed, I will be perfectly alright with it.
  2. I hope this nerf to Hoppers won't be reversed. It was disgusting before and absolutely unfair to any other standard hull. Wasps flipped with the slightest touch while Hoppers could fly the entire map and win the game alone. And now you guys complain? Absurd.
  3. Usually the autoaim is increased in a cone angle, be it horizontally or vertically, but we will see tomorrow.
  4. You can hide most of your hull and only exposing the top of your turret (in this case, Vulcan) and shoot by driving forwards and backwards. This should make you a smaller target and harder to hit at the same time. I already do this in Massacre with Paladin/Vulcan, but with 45° instead of 9° it should work even better. (assuming the vertical autoaim will be increased in both direction, but it has always been the case in the past.)

    Not all of them. Twins sounds horrible, not to mention Ricochet, it sounds like someone is beating a frying pan with a stick.
  6. The "updated" sounds come from Tanki X, and they are horribile, the original Twins sound effect was perfectly fine. The freezing status effect was indeed the weakest one, this change will probably give it a role in the battle. However, with this new mechanic, the Freeze turret will absolutely need to be nerfed ASAP. AP Freeze that also removes your bonus damage? No Thanks. Basically OG Twins, I like this, personally. This is a welcome change, but it will more useful to Striker, especially with the Hunter augment equipped. Vulcan will probably benefit from this in maps like massacre, where you can shoot from "hulldown". I wonder how this will work, I hope we'll be able to knock flying hoppers off the map or to make them flip mid-air with a Striker or Railgun shot. The added Stun, however, was not necessary.

    Why did you give Twins its Tanki X sounds? It was perfectly fine before, the new sound is horrible and irritating to listen to.

    How will we be able to defend ourselves in the future? If every single turret will stun/emp/ap it will be absolute chaos, and any semblance of strategy will go down the drain. Once every Turret gets those absurd augments I bet we will see a Second Hull Augment Slot for 10.000 Tankoins. Mark my words... 01/12/2021

    The stupidest sight in tanki today

    I was in a Siege battle, and I had this Viking Thunder player push me out of the way to steal the Nuclear Energy Box from me. (I was driving Paladin, so you can imagine how useful my OD was in Siege, healing everyone and keeping them protected from Crits and Status Effects) He used the OD a few minutes later in a 1v1 fight to beat a Defender user, and he killed himself with his third shot due to his own splash. The enemy with Defender survived. So yes, negative IQ seems to be the correct assumption.

    I get that, but this is a problem the Devs have created themselves by putting "premium" augments in the BP in the first place. Now they have set high expectations in the playerbase, and nobody is gonna waste their TKS on mediocre challenges.

    Watch the Devs buff Wyvern's Breath once the December Challenge I expires... Anyway, it should really get a buff, it's awful compared to most premium augments. Give it standard damage on critical hits (instead of it being reduced) and make the last shot guaranteed to freeze the target. And even with that, I would still use Stunning Pellets over it.

    This pass looks quite trash tbh, the only thing I like is the animated paint. Regarding paints, are those new regular ones really necessary? I get that they are super easy to create and fill a slot in the battle pass but... we have like 500 of them already. Moreover, literally nobody uses regular paints anymore, what's the point? I'd much rather get 200 batteries instead.

    Tackling Hopper in CTF.

    I would also add that a Shock Freeze sitting near the Flag can counter Hoppers w/ Trickster-Crisis pretty well. (provided they do not have cold immunity, but if they do, you can switch to other kinds of counters.) A frozen Hopper that tries to jump will not go very far, at all.

  20. I liked your proposal, yes, because it added some sort of a new mechanic related to the splash damage that would also affect the critical hits. But I am afraid that this current "rework" is just a test or an excuse to add new augments in the near future. The new AOE splash Critical would be perfect for Status effect augments that could apply EMP, Stun or AP in a vast radious, transforming Thunder in a dangerous weapon. Of course, such a "solution" would not fix Thunder when it is equipped with standard augments, but do the Devs care enough to truly fix it? Look at Smoky, robbed of its special mechanic, the critical damage, that has (for some reason) an awful autoaim, and that is quite meh when NOT equipped with OP augments. See why I have no hope?
  21. It is an uninspired and useless attempt to give Thunder a role in the game, which was stolen by Gauss (and by Striker to a lesser extent). It shows that the Devs have no idea what to do with this Turret.

    Let's discuss Brutus!

    I am currently playing with Brutus (Legend 20) as I stopped using Saboteur since it does not fit my kind of playstyle. I am waiting for my Defender to finish its upgrades, but it's gonna take a while. Brutus does its honest job for what it costs (nothing)... it's certainly better than nothing. (Also you get to brag when you finish first among an ocean of Booster, Defenders, Blasters and Saboteurs)
