Well, in real life discounts are usually applied to items which are no longer relevant, are losing popularity or are simply old and common. In case of Tanki, they just added 44 brand new cosmetic items to containers, so obviously the demand for containers will go up, and it makes no sense to lower the price for an item just as people are about to start buying large amounts of it anyway. Same goes for garage discounts - Since new drones and alterations were added, the discounts were not applied to them to maximise revenue. And Halloween isn't the most major event anyway, so it doesn't make sense to go all out and have discounts for the whole garage.

Oh I wish they paid me to say anything :D But no, this is just my personal opinion. While I would obviously prefer to have the new colours get unlocked with new modifications, I fully understand and support the reasoning for this update.

I've actually put some thought to this, and while your strategy seems pretty good, I think I found a way, WAY better one: Striker + Uranium alt + Booster drone. Striker's damage is around 850 per shot. With the Uranium alt it's 1300 per shot. With DD that's 2300 and with the Booster drone it's up to 5200 damage PER ROCKET. So if you have a full MU Booster and launch a barrage at the Juggernaut at the same time activating your DD, you will deal a freaking 20 800 damage to the Juggernaut, so a single salvo is enough to bring it down from 100% health. If that's not ridiculously OP, I don't know what is. Currently my Booster is at 8 MU steps and I'm dealing 4000 damage per rocket. I don't think there's been a single time where all 4 of my rockets hit and I didn't kill juggernaut. For comparison, you could also use the 8-rocket Cyclone alt and deal around 27 200 damage with a full volley, but the much longer lock-on time makes that alt much harder to use. Using your proposed Magnum strategy the absolute maximum amount of damage you could deal with a single shot is 9320 (with Booster), but if you use the Blaster drone instead, you will only deal up to 4660 damage with the Magnum and up to 3300 damage with the drone when you die, which is massively underwhelming compared to the potential of Striker. I will test Magnum with Booster though, since it does have the advantage of not having to lock on.

Well, to each their own. I played for a long time and I don't mind my shot colours going back to M0. I'm just glad that devs are expanding the game's cosmetics to generate revenue from them, rather than adding more P2W features. In the end if's just a shot colour, so I really don't care what it looks like as long as the tank still functions the same. It shouldn't be a big deal for the players, but it's important for the game, since it adds a new source of revenue from cosmetics.

I wouldn't say that we "earned" them. More like they were just given to us. If it would have always been like this and we'd never know any better, then there wouldn't be any problems or complaints. Honestly, it's just a change of colour for your turrets - no need to turn it into such a big deal.

I thought there was no way in hell I'm getting this one, but EVERYONE went for it and EVERYONE died. It was just me and two other guys (who got stuck) by the time I picked up the box.

That's the reason why you get one free mission change per day - use it to get rid of difficult/annoying missions.

Let me just put it this way: would you rather have some silly useless colours for sale, or another OP feature like drones or MUs, which gives buyers even more advantage in battles?

It's quite sneaky. Not announced anywhere other than in the patch notes.

The alterations balance changes are coming tomorrow, and I started to change my mind about the alteration after just a few battles with it. I think after tomorrow's nerf it will be mediocre at best. On the other hand, Thunder's new alt is already pretty good (decided to try it just now out of curiosity) and it's actually getting a BUFF tomorrow, so I'm pretty sure that one will be OP. Not to mention that everyone is protecting themselves from the most popular OP turrets now (Rico, Freeze, Fire, Isida, Twins, etc.), so the number of Thunder modules in battles is surprisingly low.

In this particular case - yes, I am. "Works as intended" is the exact phrase I was told by Hazel-Rah when I asked him about the balance issues with this alterations. Actually, now that I played quite a few more battles with the Smoky alteration, I must say that it's not as good as I initially thought. It's perfect for certain maps (and even OP in some situations), but in the majority of battles I was struggling to compete against other turrets with standard settings. So it's not as OP as I initially thought.

Topic merged While it's definitely true that some battles end up being unbalanced and there are enemies with a much higher rank than you, it doesn't mean that the game intentionally sets you up for failure. Make sure you manage your resources: complete missions, buy supplies during big discounts, don't play too much and think about when to activate your supplies to make the most of them. Also, please do not encourage sabotage in battles. Intentionally pausing the game and being inactive is a violation of game rules and can get you banned.
