But the game literally can't be called "pay-to-play" as long as you can enter battles for free. And you can. The reason for that was the Rebalance, where everyone got their equipment removed and refunded. The game took such a massive economical loss from that decision that they had to compensate for that with update 123, which indirectly reduced battle funds. Developers do admit that it was intentionally done to make players spend more money and they keep saying over and over that the rebalance was a terrible decision and there will never be any kind of massive refund again because it would inevitably result in the need for another "update 123".

Yeah I used that strategy during a study trip a month ago. Completed all three missions on the day I was leaving, but didn't collect rewards. On the next day my chain reset to the first day of the week, so I collected a reward. Then skipped a day, then collected another reward, skipped a day, collected final reward, skipped a day and completed more missions after coming back. Overall using this strategy it's possible to go a full 7 days without actually playing the game, and even longer if you manage to complete some simple missions on your mobile device (such as collecting boxes).

True, but I also don't think it's that big of a difference to justify creating a whole new setting just for it. I mean, I was playing Wasp and Viking before and I still play them now. Already got used to the "new controls" and can't even feel the difference.

Meh, I never use the alteration. Having faster reload and lower damage is much better, since every missed shot has a lower impact on your overall performance. The high caliber ammo is only good for getting kills in DM or if you have a daily mission for kills.

I see what you mean, but the idea of protection modules isn't to make your life harder by making you spend 2x time shooting the same enemy, but to make you choose a completely different enemy who has less or no protection. So if you try to avoid players with high protection and go for the ones with little or no protection, modules shouldn't seem so OP then. But I feel that 50% is a good amount, since if it was lower, players wouldn't even bother to spend their crystals on modules and their MUs. Also think about the outrage from all those, who bought and MUd a ton of modules only to have their power reduced massively.

This update was done specifically for the Mobile Version update. Devs realised that with the "old controls" there's a very minor, but important correction that everyone does when turning. On the keyboard it's a subconscious reflex, but on mobile controls it takes a lot more effort to make that correction. That's why some of the hulls had to be changed in order to be payable on mobile devices.

Were you trying to play during work days? I heard something about China having very strict limitations on gaming, so online games (and other entertainment) shuts off at certain times. Something like that...

Maybe because everyone is focused on the actual battle and doesn't waste time on chat? :P Seriously, if you want to chat with others, just use the server chat for it - you'll find plenty of other English speakers to talk to. But separating servers again isn't an option since the game doesn't have enough active players for it. If servers get separated, it will be harder to find suitable battles in the EN servers and probably next to impossible to do that on DE, EN and IR servers. So no, servers will never be separated again.

I would add the whole of the resources section in here. There's a ton of useful topics there, like the forum table generator, "fake spectator" guide, list of sales, image resources, etc. Very underrated topics, imho.

Thing is, for humans living conditions now are so much better than they were hundreds of years ago, even if you take into account all the wars, poverty and disease. Think about it - in medieval times you had to work every day for hours upon hours just to get food on your table, you could get attacked and killed by enemy tribes/clans at any time, you could die from a common cold, etc. Nowadays, while the world is obviously not a utopia, living conditions are nonetheless paradise compared to life before. And as for a nuclear war - it won't be the end of the world. It would most likely be the end of the human race, but for the planet as a whole it would just be another extinction event. Yes, a lot of species will die, but a lot of new ones will emerge, ones that can adapt to the new living conditions (radiation, smog, low temperatures, etc.) and the planet will live on.

Terrible tragedy. It sucks that things like this keep happening over and over again even though they could be prevented by simple methods such as fire drill draining.
