The issue is that the interface in PRO and matchmaking at the moment looks the same, so it's impossible to have definite proof that the screenshot is not from a PRO battle. Perhaps this will change, in which case we can do what you suggest.

Because TX uses a much more advanced game engine which allows implementation of more realistic/complex visual effects without requiring too much work and without putting as much strain on the server.

Fun fact: Tanki is not a potato. It's a multiplayer online game.

Update! From now on, new ideas belonging to the category topics (ideas for turrets, ideas for maps, etc.) will be published and allowed to stay separate for 4-7 days to allow some discussion and feedback. After that, the topic will be merged with the corresponding category topic. Such topics will get a standard status tag, new "Merge" tag, and a tag showing the topic where the idea will get merged. This is an experimental solution. If it turns out to cause a lot of inconvenience, we may revert to the old methods.

Juggernaut will definitely be popular. Team games are quite hard to play and enjoy at the moment due to bad teammates and heavily unbalanced teams, while normal DM is quite boring. Juggernaut adds an awesome new twist to DM mode and makes it a lot more fun. I mean, who wouldn't want to try being Godmode_ON (or even better)? :P

Valid I tested this once and I think that the target selection is either random, or your turret will fire at the tank that's closest to the horizon line of your turret. The only time when there's intentional target priority is if one of the targets is holding your flag, in which case you will always hit them before anyone else.

It shouldn't concern you who hides your posts. Just follow the rules, listen to warnings and you won't have any problems.

We tried that with some other sections (e.g. resources) and what ends up happening is that the more sub-forums you have, the less people will find the topics. So while we can have a dozen different sub-forums with individual topics, it won't be a good decision overall as your posts will get even less attention than they do when we merge them into existing topics. However, this does give me an idea to leave new topics for a few days, allowing them to accumulate some feedback, and merging them afterwards. I'll see what we can do.

Please read the rules in the first post. Gold Box records cannot be set up. The only thing you can qualify for with this video is "most gold boxes picked up at once", for which the current record is 70.

I suppose this is indeed a rather "cheap" way of getting kills, but there's nothing seriously wrong with it. If you join a battle that's been advertised as a "gold rain" - it's your own choice to trust that message and join the game. So you are choosing to trust the player who posted that message and are accepting the risk that there may be no golds at all. If you enter the battle and no one is dropping golds, all you need to do is leave. You don't lose anything, other than a couple minutes of your time. If you still want to stay and wait for golds while getting killed over and over - again, it's your personal decision to do so. You don't get banned for organising a gold rain. You only get banned if the way you organise it causes spam in chat, such as "Type "+" if you want me to do a gold rain".

Topic merged Definitely won't be a paint. Maybe a supply or some completely new game mechanic, but not a paint, since paints are only cosmetic items (with some providing very mild camouflage advantage).
