An inactive player. Usually a team of raiders get their alternate accounts and enter the enemy team with them. They play with their main account, while the "mult" is being inactive and taking up space on the enemy team. This gives the team of raiders an unfair number advantage and they will easily win, because there are basically less players on the enemy team. This "strategy" is prohibited by the rules and can get you banned if you use it.

In this topic I hid one of your posts. Please don't flood with pointless memes and images, otherwise I will have to give you a warning.

Well, you can't really judge this group yet because not a single battle has been played and the "take over" strategies weren't revealed. I can guarantee that this won't get to a point where mults and other illegal strategies are used to win, so what I'm hoping this will turn out to be is just a club of "enthusiastic druggers", who like to find good battles with strong opponents and win against them. To be honest, compared to what it was like 3 years ago, I don't see how "takeovers" would be possible now. I mean, unless we're talking PRO battles (of which there may be a maximum of about 20 suitable ones per day), this is what battles are like: No battle is longer than 1 hour long and the fund rarely goes above 20k Smart cooldowns mean that having lots of supplies won't make an easy victory anymore Rank limits mean that most battles will have fairly strong opponents with similar skills and equipment There is no kick system to get rid of "random unwanted scum", which the disgraceful term used by "professional raiders" when referring to normal players. The battle fund distribution means that even if the battle is won, the losing team will still get up to 40% of the battle fund. Long battles are generally rare and people prefer to avoid them. With all these points taken into account, I would actually say that "raids" and "takeovers" are pretty much obsolete by now and this group will never accomplish anything other than playing a fair battle together against a team of random players. Raiding in Tanki Online has been done with and it's time to move on.

My relationship with the forum started on November 2011. That was when I had my first real moment of curiosity and felt like exploring this "forum" thing to see what it was all about. The design was much different back then and the community was smaller - the whole English forum was just one section at the bottom of the Russian one. Most of the time I just stuck around in the "Let's discuss Ricochet" topic of the forum since Rico was (and still is) my favourite turret. I made some friends there, but one day I found a club called "The Rico fan club" and that's basically where I spent the next year of my forum surfing. I later joined another club. One day I decided to check out the English forum and noticed that the conversations here could use some of my knowledge of the game, which I have accumulated over the years. After a while people started telling me to apply for a helper job, so I applied and surprisingly quickly got accepted in the end of December. And here I am :)

So I noticed that we have a whole range of discussions on all sorts of subjects: real life, gameplay, contests, eSports, ideas end many more. But one thing we are missing is a topic to discuss the forum itself, so this is what I'm dedicating my 3000th post to. :) This topic is for discussion regarding the forum in general: How do you think it can be improved? What you like about it? What sections you like most? When and why did you start to post here? How did it affect your life online? Did you learn anything new? And any other thoughts you have... Let's begin! Interesting ideas and suggestions to improve the forum: coming soon...

If THAT is your aim, them I would gladly participate.

How exactly are you planning to find a battle with a big fund and "take over" if you won't be able to remove the current leaders of the team? For long battles it's likely that the top 5-10 players will stay till the end after half the battle has passed.

Raiding is one thing in the game that I have always considered disgraceful and egoistic, as the "raiders" ruin other players efforts in long battles buy extremely unfair domination using superior equipment, voice chat and often illegal strategies, such as mults and kicking random players from their team (when kick was available). I'm sure this group won't be like the ones I described above, so if "raiding" in this case involves extreme drug battles in fair conditions against another powerful team of druggers, then you can count me in. If this is about dominating normal players to get the fund - I'll pass.

OK, let's test! ;)

I doubt it. The devs have better things to do other than go through all 70+ maps every week and change the gold drop locations.

Maybe "in one battle" means in the same place AND at the same time? If not completely simultaneously, then at least with no more than a minute between the rankups, or something like that...
-
I was wondering if it would actually be possible to get 40 rank-ups simultaneously. The problem is that there needs to be one player, who dies first, but if they die first it means they can't rank up themselves. Even if they use Firebird and get the kill after they die, the rank animation still won't start until the tank respawns.

By the way, I hope you realise that Semyon is one of the developers, making him superior to administrators and moderators. You're basically suggesting that he should get banned by his own "employees" -_-

I'm addicted to pressing it. I sometimes even catch myself holding TAB as I'm shooting the enemy...

We were discussing a few months ago regarding rank limits for this record. It's easy to get 40 friends together, create 40 recruits and rank them up simultaneously. That's why we're thinking there should be a minimum rank requirement for that record.

Yeah, I think it's based on D/L, experience points and crystals in the garage (or total crystals ever earned). I don't know for sure

15 Railgun M4 shoots can not kill Mamooth , is possible ?
Maf replied to ArieldeArgentina in Archive
All the possible reasons were explained above. It could be that the Mammoth was using supplies, getting healed, was lagging (or you were), using "hacks', etc... If you see that you can't kill a tank you should simply move on to an easier target, otherwise you'll be wasting your time. Otherwise, your question has been answered. In the future if you want to ask a question about the game, please refrain from creating new topics and use the official Questions and Answers topic. Closed. -
Hammer and Vulcan have been added very recently, so the developers are still experimenting with their parameter values. If you watch the most recent videoblog you'll find out that a change in game balance will improve the situation and make all weapons more fair. And yes, that will involve making Hammer weaker by increasing the spread of it's shot pellets. Please refrain from creating topics for hate or simply to complain. If you want to comment on Hammer, you can do so in the existing topic: Let's discuss Hammer Closed.
