OK, ignore that.... The Wiki info is wrong -_- In that case I don't know why the 86.3 health Hornet would get one-shot. Did you do it in controlled conditions? So there is no possibility that the Hornet took damage before getting shot with Rail? If not, then the most likely reason is that the damage dealt leaves >1 hp left in the Hornet and the game is programmed to only allow a tank to live if it has 1 hp left (or perhaps at least 0.5 so that it rounds up). The 0.3 hp left in the Hornet after a Railgun shot is not enough to live, therefore the Hornet just dies. It's a minor difference that really won't affect you in battle, so there is no point telling the developers to fix it or taking it into account when purchasing guns.

I simply misunderstood your topic, there's no need to be rude about it. The Wiki page about Railgun MUs shows this: The first step adds 3.4 hp to the default 82.2 and 82.2+3.4=85.6. I have no idea where you got the 86.3 armour from, because after the second step the armour increases to 87.7. 86>85.6, so Railgun M0 with 5 damage upgrades is able to 1-shot a Hornet m0 with one armour upgrade.

The damage isn't the same with every shot. It is random and varies within a certain range and the average damage for every shot most likely follows the Normal Distribution pattern. So if you have a gun with damage ranging from 55 to 65, then overall average damage will be 60, but most shots will be between about 58 and 62 damage, meaning that you will one-shot a hull with 60 units of health 50% of the time.

It depends on how you play. Most players think that they can afford to buy all the things and upgrade them at once, although unless you buy crystals, you will be unable to do that. If you like playing with just one hull and turret all the time, then that's fine. But many players like to have variety in their gameplay, so they buy numerous turrets and hulls. Also, having many different turrets means that you can choose the turret that fits best with the current game. For example if you have Smoky and the enemy team has a lot of Tigers, Needles and Savannas, then it is wise to switch to another gun, from which the enemy team doesn't have too much protection in their paints.

It definitely was. That's a bit of an exaggeration, don't you think? If everyone has Double Power when you respawn, just use Double Armour and Repair Kit as soon as you respawn and it will help you survive. Either way this type of bonus won't be a normal occurrence and if it happens again, then it will most likely only be during holidays and celebrations. Either way, thanks for your feedback.
