I did that Skitee. It didn't work for me. Flash and browser cache cleared. So many browsers and variations !! Mr. Koolwalky's video shows much of what I experience when I try to make a PRIVATE map. I will be glad when it is corrected.

For the last few days I have been unable to create a Private Map. I create a private map, with only myself in it, to make videos and try out new equipment. It seems to have started after the new update. Everything appears to work OK, but when I press START nothing happens. Is anyone else having this problem ? This is a problem not a complaint. It's why I posted here.

I get your drift, pal. I can't create a Private Map either. I use private maps, with only me in it, to practice and make videos. I can't do it any longer. This has gone on for a few days. How are you going to make a video with a map full of people shooting at you ?

I have designed a new scope for Shaft. I am sure everyone will love it. It has all of the "real world" improvements that the current Shaft Scope has been missing. I hope the Admins will accept this new design and make it standard issue for Shaft owners/losers. WOW !! Outstanding. I haven't been this impressed since I saw the Hindenburg burst into flames over New Jersey. Ohhhhh. The humanity.

My problem is only with Shaft. It is random too. Sometimes it does and sometimes it does not .... At times the Shaft will appear to fire TWO beams. At other times the Shaft turret will rotate 90 degrees without showing any motion. It just goes from one side to the other in an instant. It leaves me no time to adjust position. BOOM !! It's got ya. I thought it might have been my frame rate. I use Explorer and my FPS averages 60.0. I tried it with Chrome which usually averages a FPS of 20.0. Same results. Chrome is pathetic !! I use Freeze in the Polygon. Shaft used to be an easy target if I could get close. Now it is a killer at close range too. I just don't know !! If it starts happening with other players it could be a MAJOR PROBLEM. If someone looks at this thread the first thing they will post is ... clear your cache. I have been here almost 7 months and I have NEVER cleared my cache. No problems yet !!

I actually prefer the old style. They are available in ConsumViewer, and you can edit the maps. Make the design that suits you, and hopefully the admins. I like the idea of the update too.

FORGIVE ME Optprime !!! I did not realize that you had posted. That "jab" was definitely not aimed at you. I have played with and against you many times. I respect you as a player and I suspect you are probably a nice guy.

Of all the weapons in Tanki only three have similiar real world applications. Smoky, Thunder, and Firebird. The rest are just futuristic what-ifs. I feel that Firebird deserves the same respect as Smoky and Thunder. Besides that, it is a lot of fun to use. It's quick. Freeze is my weapon of choice, Silent. I spend a lot of time in the Polygon. Once Tanki makes the changeover to something bordering on 2.0; I intend to sell an M2 Rail and a M2 Rico for ONE crystal to some unfortunate soul. What can I say ? I just do not like 'em. I hate to post a pic, but as always it is worth a thousand words. As you suspect all of the other "stuff" is M3. Thank you for you input ... with certain exceptions.

I have rediscovered the Firebird. It allows me to enter Polygon matches with lower or equal ranks without feeling guilty. I don't have to drag out the heavy hardware and the supplies, and I get to have some FUN. They make some points. I have some fun. Everyone wins. Simple Suggestions. Simple being a reference to the fact that I have looked at the charts. 1. Decrease the reload time. 2. Increase the HP. 3. Current range is sufficient. 4. Turret rotation. Good for me. I believe it is the fastest one in Tanki. Open to correction. 5. This one is way out there. Make it a semi-Isidia. Give it the ability to unfreeze and heal anything hit by a Freeze. 6. Decrease the "size" of the flame. It looks like a BIC lighter exploding. 7. Rename it the Phoenix. Then everyone can argue over the "plural form" of Phoenix. The lower ranks get another weapon, other than Rail, that has some punch to it. The higher ranks get a new toy. Balanced weapon ? In my opinion ... yes. MEME SLINGERS and the semi-literate need not respond. P.S. Mr. Koolwalky, I would like to thank you for that one week ban !! On more than one occasion I have stated that Tanki involved nothing more than muscle memory and NO skill whatsoever. I stand corrected. It does require SKILL and STRATEGY.
