  2. Tankers! Hexed was lucky enough to have the chance to take the almighty Juggernaut into normal battles, and has penned a humorous account of his adventures - read on to find out more!

  4. Afraid that doesn't work, but you can upload the picture to an image hosting site, like postimage or Imgur. You can write it on a piece of paper and include that in the photo ?

Wheteher tanki is Pay TO win or not?

It's almost like free games need to make money... huh. Paying can massively increase your chances of winning, because you can easily avoid prot modules, you have more supplies, M4s, drones, etc. Thus, P2W.
  6. Just post it in this topic. You can find how to upload and post a picture here.

    Lower Ranks Need Fixing

My opinion is that the game needs an improved tutorial, that finds some way of actually forcing you to turn your turret, so you start off will, rather than having to learn later/just get wrecked by alts who know what they're doing.

Wheteher tanki is Pay TO win or not?

The game is P2W and always will be - it has to be for the game to make profit. The main evolution in the game is that it is now not just possible to keep up, but pretty easy, as long as you're willing to work with a narrower range of equipment.
  9. Apologies all, forgot to open the form ? Form is now open; good luck!

[NY Special][Main Topic] Seaon's Greetings from the Newspaper Team!

A 'short' Foreword Ho ho ho, Santa kais here to wish you all a very merry Christmas (and happy holidays to those who don't celebrate Christmas)! 2019 has been a year of change for Tanki online, with big updates to the game, to Helper teams, and more. 2019 has seen the introduction of HTML 5, TJR, the Gauss turret, and Siege mode, as well as Tanki's tenth birthday. The game has changed an unimaginable amount since it's creation, and despite the naysayers, it still has a strong playerbase, that I am very glad to say are as helpful and friendly as one could hope. The next ten years should see a whole new wild ride of updates, and I for one aim to stick around to see them through! The community has also seen major change, with figureheads of the EN Helper Teams moving on, like @CooperO, @skeletorXVIII, @Moraine, @Hexed, @M4j, and others. But where some leave, others are there to help out in their place. The best of luck to the seven new admins (and one jCM) who've taken on the role this year, there are some hefty shoes to fill, but I'm sure they will all do so admirably. We have also been treated to a smexy new forum (which is already proving to be a massive improvement in terms of uptime, if nothing else), and a third chapter in the series of Tanki Wars, this time Christmas-themed, and despite a subpar start and midgame, the Snowmen seem to have pulled off a clutch finale to win it! Going into 2020 though, there is still plenty to come. Look forward to the Ares hull, a new upgrade modification system (which is scheduled to be out before the start of the new year, but after this article, so I still count it.) and far more that we can't even begin to predict. Here's to all the wonderful memories that we made in 2019, and all the fantastic times we have to come in 2020 - ? New Year's Special What else can you expect to find in this issue? Some real festive stars! First up, The Night Before, a festive thriller from the pen of the brilliant writer @Hippin_in_Hawaii, exploring a war-torn reincarnation of the original famous Christmas poem. Next, a last hurrah from @Hexed, in the form of a classic What Map! contest, but this time with a snowy twist - the snapshots are all from Winter maps. An ice simple contest to round off the year! Finally, a second edition of a contest run two years ago - New Year Around the Globe! Enjoy the chance to show off your city's decorations (or your own), and get the double win of crystals, plus flexing your city to others! Seasons greetings! I asked the newspaper team to create short messages of goodwill, and in typically unsurprising reporter fashion, some listened to instructions, and others… gave me a text wall. (Clearly, I have my work cut out for me with the reporter team... I mean, only two text walls? Disappointing.) Anyway, let's see what they had to say! @Flexoo - Hi there everyone. To those of you who celebrate Xmas, I wish you the warmest time full of love and coziness with your family and friends, and a great New Year 2020 that will hopefully be full of fantastic things. If you do not, I hope you have just as many great days in front of you and lots of loving people nearby. @Hippin_in_Hawaii - Mele Kalikimaka to one and all! May all your stockings be filled with victory! @Person_Random - Hey everyone, thanks for an awesome year of Tanki (and life) in 2019. I've met so many people who've been a blessing to me during the ups and downs of this year and I'm glad we can end on a positive note. Enjoy the holidays and Happy New Year 2020! @Tidebreaker - What a year 2019 has been in Tanki. We went through so many new updates - balance changes, the introduction of Gauss and Siege, new skins, and most importantly, Overdrives. We lost many amazing people in the community as well as Tanki X, a game that deserved better. With the end of a decade and the end of an era in Tanki, there’s a chill that I just can’t shake off in not knowing what will happen in the future. But one thing we Tanki players always have in common is a feeling of hope, of reaching that next rank, of catching that container, of asking that special someone out. Okay, maybe not that last part. Hopefully, these Christmas holidays can either ignite that fire, or turn it into an inferno. Happy holidays, tankers! Stay safe, and may your wildest hopes and dreams come true in this magical time of the year. @Magenta - https://imgur.com/gallery/fcE0UFX @pythor20000 - 2019 - A year of massive updates, huge gameplay changes, and a bunch of new features. Throughout the year we saw the release of the long awaited overdrives, a brand new turret in Gauss, and the addition of two new game modes, Team Juggernaut and, just recently, Siege. We’ve seen one of the main faces behind the scenes, Kasim, resign from his role as the Russian community manager, while Marcus was promoted to a junior CM in the English community. Some may say 2019 was the year Tanki officially died due to P2W updates and other changes. Others might complain that the gameplay was ruined because of certain tweaks to various turrets or alterations. However, nobody can deny that countless memories have been made, many new friendships formed, and many unforgettable moments experienced over the past 12 months within the game. During the ups and downs, the good times and bad, the high points and the low, the Tanki community has really bonded together like I’ve never seen before. I believe great things still lie in store for this game, and I am both excited and expectant for what 2020 will bring. All the best wishes to everyone in the EN community during this holiday season. Enjoy the festivities in Tanki, and more importantly, spend time with your family and friends. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! And so I can say from all of us here at the Newspaper - happy holidays! We'll be back to a regular upload schedule on Friday 10th January, see you then for more!

[NY Special] New Year Around the Globe!

People aren't always aiming for the final tier of the challenge - how about making it so that you can set a desired tier in the stars calculator? Or perhaps a "I can earn ____ stars per day, what tier can I get to?"

    A tribute to CooperO

Today, our beloved forum admin @CooperO retired, clearly moving on to find greater purpose in life (and cats. Lots of cats.) We wish her all the best, hope that she has fun, and can rest easy knowing that her legacy of an updated forum is finally here! If you have anything you'd like to say, well-wishes, goodbyes, etc., feel free to add your own ?

Episode 228 of the V-LOG is live!

If M3s become Mk7s, what happens to M4s? Or M2 10/10? (etc.) In fact, what will happen to MUs in general? As for the new Prime skins, will people who have the current PR skins have them automatically converted?

    TO Guides - Hammer

Ok, thank you to Conq and P_R for repeating what I said but cramming in some shameless ads for their own works, nice :P Fair enough, that makes sense. You do have a good start here, but as you seem to know, it just needs more detail. As for Grammarly, I had a feeling that would be the case :P
  23. kaisdf

    TO Guides - Hammer

Article Approved. You have the makings of a solid guide here, but it lacks a few features. The basic details are great, and very helpful, but you should try talking more about the turret itself - what is it best suited to? Short/Med/Long range, open/closed quarters maps, tips and tactics like the shot ricochets, etc. It really isn't that much of a text wall in reality, it isn't long, it's more that there was little formatting and no change. I added quite a lot of colour, I added titles, etc. which should make it all easier to read. You mentioned having a banner in your intro, don't know what happened to that, but I do think that you need to include more pictures/screens - maybe some battle end screens of how you've done with each hull? Also, just using Grammarly doesn't save you fully. The main issue was paring vs. pairing. Both are words, which is why it didn't get picked up, but paring means to trim/cut something. If you want a good example of a guide, I recommend looking at @Person_Random's recent Wasp guide - quite long, but it has good formatting and detail. Edits:
