Heh. Players who don't need the crystals as much often give funds to their friends by leaving and rejoining just before the end, in a similar way as one would give a friend a gold box.

I comprehensively concur with the preceding forum user.

^I'd say the number of players is really important. Cancel the record. Even with restrictions, I don't think it'd work too well. Who's to stop me creating a long battle with lots of friends, and just before the end, getting them to leave and rejoin to reset their scores? I'd get a few thousand crystals, take all the fund, and there'd be enough players in the battle. Too vague in definition and easy to exploit loopholes, IMO.

    Religion

It'll inevitably lead to religious discussion, which will kind of be a problem in terms of not breaking any rules... Anyway, I'm a Pastafarian ^_^

Religious discussion isn't allowed, unfortunately, so I guess this'll be closed...

Still not right... Actually, this suits me fine, since I'm a bit pre-occupied organising that Hornet/Rail tournament in Free Sport now, anyway ^_^
  11. Yeah, I can see why your grades would be higher. But I disagree that you'd get the same level of social exposure - it's bound to be less, simply because you'd study with other students in school all of the time. And that can have both positive and negative influences on you - the negative being impacts on actual grades/learnings, but the positive being your social development. Now, I'm not saying that homeschoolers can't be socially developed either, but it does seem to me that some homeschoolers can sometimes tend to have more restricted or prejudiced views on things, as they may not have had all the social experiences a young person going to school would.
  12. Agreed. I guess it prevents the building of prejudices in young people, and enables them to be more open in thought due to the social aspect of school.

    problem with update 208

*facepalm* 212,000 crystals is the number of crystals you would get from all the previous ranks achieved. You would get only 28,000 crystals from ranking to Marshal. Tanki doesn't owe you anything.

Mhmm, yes, most people do their GCSEs at the end of Year 11. I've got two Maths ones in Year 10 (a few months away) to look forward to *sigh*

Incorrect. This'll become a two-pointed tomorrow - all the more incentive to try and solve it ;)

We just have Business Studies and Economics for GCSE, and I'm doing both. Business Studies is really quite easy, whereas Economics is the harder and more reputed financially-related subject of the two for us. Never heard of Personal Finance  Yep, I like most of my subjects too for the same reason.
