    Are you all Afraid?

And now the forum's being flooded by trolls... Wow, this forum is in a really good condition... Though it must be considered as to why these trolls are flooding the forum, as it didn't used to happen, and I think we'll find the answer is: the forum's dead and lacks discussion, as players are too restricted/cautious at the moment, as the attitude of the mods has become less friendly/open.

    Who will join me?

Me help, k? Well, to avoid me being banned for flooding, I also have to say: pointless topic :P

I would like to take this opportunity to say "hats off to you". We may not meet eye-to-eye on numerous matters, but I respect that you've unhidden and reopened this topic. Thank you.

You're welcome xD Nah, but seriously, you've got the idea of 'fun' better than most others have at the moment...

    Are you all Afraid?

Well said. Yes, I did notice that this interview was rather opinionated and did not represent the general views of the community; considering the announcement of the update has largely had negative reactions, the interviews should have been stratified with most of the responses negative to demonstrate a fair representation of opinions. Hopefully, this topic can remain open for some sensible discussion on the forum in general. That's not what she said. Basically, Selena's saying we should loosen up a bit, and that trolls like you are actually an example of some independence in the community, even though your actions aren't generally helpful. She also says that if we all try to be more independent in our posts, you won't be needed anymore :P

    Its gone Moon silence

Wow, really? Moon Silence is gone? Wait, I might have seen a topic on that before... or 5 topics... or over 10...

i have had it with nerds under bullies

No, I wouldn't. If everyone in my family was murdered, I wouldn't want the murderer to receive the death penalty... It wouldn't teach him why his actions were wrong, nor would it bring my family back. In any case, it could be argued that a life in prison is a harsher punishment than the death penalty. I'm pretty sure I'd want him to receive life in jail and the chance to improve himself - it'd just be against my principles to wish he should receive the death penalty. And I sincerely hope that my principles wouldn't be compromised in such a situation, though I accept I'm only human.
  8. Lol, this page is full of optimism ^_^ Remaine, you're a great guy. You can be frank in what you say when criticising, which to some people comes across as insulting... but I personally think it's good that you're open about your opinions, however unpopular or popular they may be. You're a master topic creator, a great Firebird user, and an especially excellent writer - a would-be reporter if it wasn't for your karma. You are respectful towards friends, and infamously disregarding of your enemies. I think your best quality is your honesty, and it's a privilege to have got to know you ;)

    Tanki World Records

Yes, but I believe the record is valid until that limit is reached - only then is it removed.

    Bluelight - I'm back!

    Fixed.

i have had it with nerds under bullies

Yes, I agree; well said. Even a murderer will have some good within himself, however hidden or oppressed. This is why I am against things like the death penalty - evil cannot be fought with evil, only good. Such people should be fairly punished, but also given the opportunity to repent for their actions, to improve their life, and to change their past ways. More often than not, it is the society at fault; murderers are created through negligence during youth, and a lack of moral development. In the same way, bullies are created as they have not been properly told what is right and what is not.

Well, people are allowed to be different. People don't exist to please others. I don't like guys who suck up to teachers, think they're the best in the class, and get others in trouble, but I get to know them anyway, and look at the good in their personalities instead of the bad. Same with those arrogant guys who think they're 'badmans' - even them guys who smoke on the way home from school and show off their pocket knives to one another can be conversed with as normal people. Just appreciate what's good with people before criticising their faults ^_^
  14. Well, basically the ones in this issue I read and forgot about soon after. You know, non-memorable sort of articles on traditional subjects, with writing of a good standard, but not very original in concept.

    Tanki World Records

Remaine, should be OK I think - that must've been a long battle :o Hithere, rejected, as that record can only go down to a battle fund of 1, and after that it cannot be beaten. It is what we call a 'limited record', and so one we cannot accept.
  16. Raphael, your article was excellent, one of the best this issue. Same goes to your joint Behind the Breaking News article, hog, quite hilarious :P I also thought Fjel's article was great. Those are my three highlights from this issue, really, though aojsd and bdeck certainly deserve a mention. Generally, other articles were good, with some mediocre-ish ones and one poor example.

    What Browser do you use?

Usually Chrome, but I actually think that IE10 is better. Though all the other versions of IE are pretty bad.

Update 188 - Will be the rebalance or MU?

+1, and the removal of the option to buy Moonwalker, I think.

Intelligence and the discussion of it

Well, I also have a higher IQ than my parents, though I think they're mainly where I got my IQ from ^_^

Intelligence and the discussion of it

Wow, it took you a whole four minutes to copy-and-paste that from Wikipedia? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Heritability_of_IQ#Heritability_and_caveats

Intelligence and the discussion of it

^Agreed. Though is the main factor experience, or the inheritance of intelligence? I'd say inheritance...

    Socratic Discussion of Justice

Well said, I agree. However, if one practices imperfect justice with a selfish motive, can that still be classed as justice at all (albeit very bad justice)? If so, when does flawed justice cross the line into injustice?

Intelligence and the discussion of it

Fair enough, it was pretty funny though ^_^

Even though you didn't intend it, this is the funniest post I've read in a long time. Read the last sentence carefully
