Dubai on the other hand, is a city, not a country. Its in the Emirates. Korea is actually two countries - although I'll bet there's not too many Tanki players from DPRK. Or internet users. Geography not your strong suit, eh?

Railguns are electromagentic projectile launchers - and real : "The first weaponized railgun planned for production, the General Atomics Blitzer system, began full system testing in September 2010. The weapon launches a streamlined discarding sabot round designed by Boeing's Phantom Works at 1600 m/s (approximately Mach 5) with accelerations exceeding 60,000 g's.[20] During one of the tests, the projectile was able to travel an additional 7km (~4 mi) downrange after penetrating a 1/8 inch (3 mm) thick steel plate. The company hopes to have an integrated demo of the system by 2016 followed by production by 2019, pending funding. Thus far, the project is self-funded" Lasers are real too - just don't have a "z" in them: Light Amplification by Stimulated Emission of Radiation. The US navy just deployed a laser system that can shoot down planes.

What is the differences between american english and british english?

Plus you have the whole "speaking in code" thing in England: "no not at all, its no bother" means "its a huge inconvinience, and I am very upset with you" "no, its my fault" means "you are a complete *****, and should be shot" "great idea, I have just one or two pointers" means "that's so bad you need to start again" "we'll see" means "not until hell freezes over and the devil goes to work on ice skates" "that's very brave" means "you are clearly quite mad" "I hear what you say" means "I totally disagree, and do not wish to discuss it further" "with the greatest respect" means "you are an *****" "I'll bear that in mind" means "I have already forgotten what you said" "could we consider some other options" means "I hate your idea" "that's not bad" means "that is terrible" "that's interesting" means "you are clearly quite mad" "guess what" means "I'm about to tell you" "how are you" means "I have no intrest in your health, I'm just saying hello" -

US english tends to use "z" (that's "zed", not "zee") in words like generalise. And its al-u-min-i-um Usage is different to - - its the "bonnet" of a car not the "hood" - the "boot" of a car not the "trunk" - a "vest" is warn under a shirt - its not a "waistcoat" - gas is one of the phases of matter (solid, liquid, gas, plasma), the stuff that makes cars go is "petrol" -
Thanks for missing New Zealand off the list and including Lanka, a place that only exists in Hindu mythology. New Zealand is a little group of Islands in the South Pacific, next to Middle Earth on the Planet Pandora.

Fight your way up - otherwise when you hit those hi-ranked battles you'll find it really tough.

Can't do the shaft/one-place sniper thing. Its either really boring, or I have ADHD.

Ah - now that is an interesting idea; other sites offer on-the-fly translation. Doesn't work for slang very well, mind you.

You choose to be here - both on the forum and in Tanki. In doing so, you accept the terms and conditions that govern how you should act. Your free speech isn't blocked, you just can't do whatever you want in Tanki - much as if I was a guest in your house, I would abide by your rules. People should be banned from chat for offensive comments, luring people into scams, and in fact any rule breaches that the owners of this site choose. There are kids on this site - some of them very young (although not on the forum of course)

I'm sorry the negative feedback you have received has upset you. You have only been a member and a player for a short while; not all of your ideas will be accepted by experienced players, and some may have been suggested many times by other new players. Shouting at people by using capitals will not improve your credibility - nor will ignoring them.

Just tried out Smokey for a bit at M1; got enough criticals to make a difference :-)

British SF : Alaistair Reynolds, Iain M. Banks, Peter F Hamilton and Richard Morgan. Morgan's also writing a fantasy series at the moment. In particular check out the Revelation Space series (Reynolds), Use of Weapons (Banks), Great North Road (Hamilton) and Broken Angles/Woken Furies (Morgan)

I have some news for you. All women will die. Nothing sexist in that : 100% of all women who have lived in the past have either died already, or - as Bob Dylan phrased it - those not busy being born are a' busy dying right now. Like ALL OF US. Glad to have sorted that out for you.

Um - whatever floats your boat. Maybe you have a different Disney channel to ours, but the core demographic here (NZ-Oz) is aimed at under 11s. The cartoons that the 16-year-olds I know watch tend to be more Family Guy, South Park, Futurama and so on. The inference was the OP might not actually be over 16....
-
What colour you paint your tank won't make it sexy. Tanks aren't sexy. They don't even make you sexy. Now guitars on the other hand...... but that's a different thread.
-
You are over 16 and watch Disney channel? Really?

Maybe the forum needs a /vote mode...

I'd agree in a Deathmatch on som emaps, but not any of the team games. I only play with Railgun/Smokey, and my ranking as a number overall, stays close to constant. So - there's not loads of short-range hack-and-slay players overtaking me on the score line. If anything, I'm going up faster now after the rebalance.
-
There's nothing wrong with the controls as they are, in my opinion; my 12-year old kid doesn't have any issues when he plays. Suggest practicing!
-
So - you think someone was cheating. You reported it. That's great! You also figured out what your team needed to win, and called in support - well done! Just another day in Tanki-land though - at your rank, do you really need to boast about it?
-
Pure defensive play is too easy on most maps. It is the balance between attack and defense that creates the challenge in Tanki. So - no thanks, I think it would have terrible game play.
-
No, it wouldn't be cool. Paying for the "privilege" of being able to beta-test software? Yeah - but nahhh. And "no lags?" - you think the devs *want* to have lags, ot its an option?
-
Fowl Play? Did you have a chicken in your tank? Very disturbing mental picture - no wonder you got a ban.
-
Kind of ruins the game for those of us who like to fight solo; I always feel a bit conned when I go into a DM and people are cooperating. I either bail out, or if they are really annoying me I drug up and target the team member with the lowest kills until they give up...
