We had to make a choice between simplicity + better price OR ability to choose lower grades. We picked the first one, as it clearly gives you more advantages. + you can always start a low rank account to test a turret or a hull at a lower modification. Soon. Priorities shifted, so we are launching several other updates before the Ratings. More on the next of them in this week's VLOG.

Tankers! Today, we’ve made two changes to the game, both of which are aimed at simplifying the purchase of new turrets and hulls. The first change is direct access to the best available grade for any turret or hull you wish to purchase. Instead of buying all the modifications of an item, you can now go directly for the best grade available at your rank. For example: If you have M0 Ricochet in your garage, and Ricochet M3 is available at your rank, you don’t need to buy M1 and M2. You can go directly for the top modification. This saves you 113 500 crystals. Even if you don’t have Ricochet at all, you can still purchase an M3 without any prior expenses, which saves you 115 400 crystals. Secondly, we’ve introduced a discount for buying items of the same type. As you buy more turrets of the same modification, the remaining turrets of the same grade will become cheaper. The system works in the same way for hulls. Turrets 3 turrets of the same modification in your garage — 10% off all remaining turrets of the same grade 6 turrets of the same modification in your garage — 20% off all remaining turrets of the same grade 9 turrets of the same modification in your garage — 30% off all remaining turrets of the same grade Hulls 2 hulls of the same modification in your garage — 10% off all remaining hulls of the same grade 4 hulls of the same modification in your garage — 20% off all remaining hulls of the same grade 6 hulls of the same modification in your garage — 30% off all remaining hulls of the same grade Of course, these discounts will add up to product kit discounts and current garage promotions. These fresh changes are meant to make it a lot easier for tankers to grow their arsenal with new items, or purchase a turret or hull in addition to their main combo.

For 24 hours only, from 02:00 UTC on September 11, to 02:00 UTC on September 12, we’re giving away an extra 25% on all crystals purchased. And if you use a Double Crystal Card, the 25% covers the TOTAL number of crystals! Nothing about Sport mode for now. Same about gameplay changes, it's being discussed now. We'll be coming up with things like random gold box for April Fool, but a lot more complex. New mechanics, totally new maps, increased battle funds on specific arenas, unique daily missions for holidays, thematic achievements. Maybe even new game modes exclusively for New Year or Tanki's B-Day. These are all ideas that we are collecting. Once we have a pool, we'll be checking which of them are possible.

LOL no one is being greedy and no one is going broke. The only reason you are unhappy is because we gave too many sales last year. Naturally, you guys got used to them and now think that anything below 50% off is not a good sale. This will be fixed with time though, the only thing it takes is time. Consider this a visit to a rehab. A rehab for 50% off addicts. :D Seriously though, sales are not everything. We'll be looking more into the side of doing some all-new gameplay experiences for events (new battle modes and stuff like that). Stay tuned :)

Guys, this is very disappointing, seriously. Please understand that we can't have 50% sales all the time. Actually, I think we are one of the few games who ever has 50% sales, most just don't do that. Why? Because it affects the game's economy SO MUCH. If Tanki's economy gets ruined, the whole game will be ruined. There won't be 50%, 40%, 25% or any sales. There won't be the game at all. I know that the last year was full of sales, but it actually affected the game in a pretty negative way. Please understand, that the game needs to function steadily to keep living and growing, and giving you fun and enjoyment. If we continued last year's policy, I don't know where Tanki would be now. Probably it wouldn't exist. So yes, it's a 2-sided thing. You love sales, but big sales are dangerous. That's why we limited it to 40%, as a perfect balance between fun for players and balance for the game. Unfortunately, many of you guys didn't understand that. What I ask you to do is to try to understand that it's a lot more complicated then it looks. It about constant balance. And 40% is better than no sale or 25% off. I hope some of you are grateful for the celebrations. This would really give us a boost to keep working for you. Cheers.

Tankers! With today’s update we’ve added 4 new XT items to the game. From now on, Tanki Online includes unique versions of Wasp, Viking, Firebird and Thunder, all featuring custom, breath-taking designs! As in case of Hornet and Railgun XT, these new turrets and hulls can be obtained by completing super-rare daily missions — “Destroy 9999 tanks” or “Earn 99999 experience points”, with a respective unique item stated as prize. As before, these assignments are only available to players with the rank of Generalissimo. The characteristics of the new XT hulls and turrets are identical to their standard M3 counterparts and can also be micro-upgraded accordingly. Of course, once obtained, the items will remain in your garage forever. That’s it, tankers! Feel free to share your thoughts on the new XT items in this topic.

Hey guys! We've removed the limit for DM battles. Score caps for TDM, CTF and CP battles were increased, as requested. Team Deathmatch (TDM) 15 minutes: a total of 100 kills for one of the teams 30 minutes: a total of 200 kills for one of the teams 60 minutes: a total of 400 kills for one of the teams Capture the Flag (CTF) 15 minutes: a total of 10 captured flags for one of the teams 30 minutes: a total of 20 captured flags for one of the teams 60 minutes: a total of 40 captured flags for one of the teams Control Points (CP) 15 minutes: a total of 100 CP points for one of the teams 30 minutes: a total of 200 CP points for one of the teams 60 minutes: a total of 400 CP points for one of the teams We'll continue monitoring the situation and making changes to the system if necessary.
