Oh come on! Seriously though, I am running the whole community management in Tanki now, so there's plenty to do even outside the EN community. Cedric and I will be splitting the workload more effectively, he'll be helping with some of the things I do alone now. Hopefully, this will give me time to answer PMs and be more active in the forum. We'll see how it goes.

Tankers! Today I’d like to introduce you to a new (actually, not so new) addition to the AlternativaPlatform team and a very good friend of mine, Cedric Debono! Cedric is our copywriter, working for AlternativaPlatform from Malta. He’s been taking care of all the official texts for the English community since June 2014, including update texts, events announcements and V-LOG scripts. Tankers! Chat candidates, moderators and administrators are now marked with special icons on battle and server chats. Finding someone who can help you out on the chat will now be a lot easier. Tankers! Today we’ve made some tweaks to the way Repair Kit and Mine supplies work. The Gold box mechanism has also undergone some changes. More info below. Repair Kit The cooldown on Repair Kits was too short. This made a tank virtually impossible to destroy if its owner had lots of this supply. With this update, this issue has now been fixed, so now tankers cannot use Repair Kits as frequently as before. Repair Kit’s reload time is increased by 33% (from 30 to 40 seconds) Mine’s dependent cooldown is decreased by 33% (from 15 to 10 seconds) Mine The cooldown on Mines has been made faster, to make them more appealing and effective. Mine reload time is decreased by 33% (from 30 to 20 seconds) Repair Kit dependent cooldown is decreased by 33% (from 15 to 10 seconds) Gold Box Changes have also affected the gold box. Now the box is dropped 30 seconds after the notification, instead of 20 seconds as before the update. This means more tankers will be able to get to the drop zone in time! Tankers! Since the last balance changes, we’ve been carefully studying equipment statistics and use, as well as player feedback. In the end, it became clear that more balance tweaks were needed. Updated turret and hull parameters are explained in full detail below. Firebird Firebird’s higher modifications were too effective at setting enemy tanks on fire, so this parameter has been decreased. Lower modifications received changes to range and damage, to compensate for the improvements to this turret’s direct rival — Freeze. Freeze The way the freezing effect worked before the update was not successful. With this update, Freeze now has more energy and is more effective at slowing enemies down. However, enemy tanks now take longer to freeze, and will unfreeze faster. Isida Now the turret deals damage twice as often. Hammer Before the update, the number of shots needed to destroy a specific heavy tank became less with each modification. This has been fixed. Heavy hulls of higher modifications are now more effective against Hammer. Twins Turret damage output has been adjusted. Now, destroying a specific hull of the same modification takes the same number of shots. Ricochet Ricochet’s damage has been slightly modified. Now, destroying a specific hull of the same modification takes the same number of shots. Additionally, to compensate for the turret’s recent boost to range, its impact force has been slightly decreased. Smoky Smoky’s parameters have been improved to keep it competitive against other turrets that play on the same distances. Vulcan With the update, Vulcan is now quicker to start firing, but barrels take longer to stop after you finish firing. This has made the turret easier to use on maps with lots of cover. Thunder Thunder’s splash damage has become more effective. This is compensated for with a decrease in damage. Shaft Shaft now deals more damage in sniping mode and reloads faster. On the other hand, it deals less damage in arcade mode and is slower to aim. Medium hulls To increase the overall tempo of lower rank battles, the first modifications of Hunter, Viking and Dictator got a boost to their maximum speed. Heavy hulls Heavy hulls are too slow, especially at lower ranks. To compensate for that, the maximum speed of Mammoth and Titan have been increased. Guys. I've locked this topic. At this point in time, this is the best answer I can give you. Anything beyond this is just speculation and it's neither helping the game, nor the community. For now, let's stick with what we know. I trust our game designers will make the best decisions for the good of the community.

I just want to draw your attention to one thing, guys. As Hazel said, it hasn't been decided yet whether current progress will be moved to the new version of Tanki or not. It's too early to tell. It will all depend on the economical system of the new game. And it's still being developed by Hazel and other game designers. When it is finished, rest assured we'll announce it in the forums and video blogs. Guys, let me make one thing very clear — NOBODY intends to spit into players' faces. It will either be a complete transfer of current progress, or as many goodies as possible for old players. You guys helped Tanki get to where it is today, so we will not let you down. Rest assured.
