I didn't say that the Ukrainian crisis matters to Tanki and that the Greece crisis doesn't. I just said that the Ukrainian crisis is one of the reasons why Russian currency got a lot weaker compared to Euro and USD, and that this is the reason such difference occurred between crystal price in rubles and crystal price when bought with USD and euros. Man, if we wanted to earn money as quickly as possible, we'd introduce the second currency and limit the abilities of non-buyers to something microscopic (like most games do nowadays). We don't do that however, and are not going to. And sorry, but I can't see how we are nationalistic, we don't support any conflicts or acts of breaking the international law, no matter which country does that. The only thing I said is that the Ukrainian crisis is one of the reasons ruble got so weak. I am happy to see that our community has such educated players. I didn't say that the Ukrainian thing was the only reason of this. It was one of the reasons affecting it, alongside with oil prices changes. Anyway, it's not the point. The point is that the USD/EUR crystal rates got back to what they were, and I understand that you are not happy with that at all. As I said many times in this topic, changes will be applied gradually, to make buying crystals with USD and Euros cheaper. This is the only thing I can say now, the rest would be speculation.

Tankers! This season of Star Series has blown everyone away. We’ve had action-packed battles and unexpected twists all through the tournament. You guys had a great time watching, and the numbers prove it — in just 4 days, more than 50 000 viewers across the English, Russian and German communities, were simultaneously watching the live streams for Star Series finals. That can only mean one thing… Till 02:00 UTC on August 3 we’re having 24 hours of massive 5X Battle Funds for the first time ever in Tanki Online history. That means you’re getting 5 times the crystals for every battle you complete. This Sunday, make sure you keep lots of food and drink handy by your computer, because there are loads of crystals to be made!

This is tricky, but let me try to explain. All the rates were fair before the Ukraine crisis started. Back then ruble was a relatively strong currency, and crystal price for buying in rubles, euros and USD was the same. Then the crisis started and ruble got affected, it basically lost almost half of its value compared to euro and USD. We, however, decided not to change crystal prices for various currencies back then, so crystals bought in rubles got about 30% cheaper. That's where the huge difference in crystal price came from. With the recent update, we made the decision to make those rates fair again, buy making crystals 20%-44% cheaper when buying with USD and euro. The change was made, but it had to be rolled back shortly after that. This was done due to a financial risk we didn't take into account originally. So, the fact that it was rolled back doesn't mean that it will stay like that forever. Our intention is to introduce fair rates for crystals in USD and Euros, but we'll be doing that step by step, in a very gradual way. It will take more time, but it's less risky for the game. Russian players don't care about anyone else except Russian players, the same way most of this community doesn't care about RU players. This is human nature. So, I have to say that your theory is nonsense. Sorry for being so blunt. Yes, currently it's cheaper to buy in Rubles due to reasons I described above in this post. And yes, USD purchases are a bit more expensive than purchases made in Euros. Same reason, USD got a lot stronger recently, now costing almost the same as Euro. Current Tanki rates don't take these changes into account, that's why USD crystals are the most expensive. As I already said, this will be fixed, step by step. Hey there! The crystal price difference has been explained already. As for the different bonus in 2 same packages, I agree it is weird. However, current EN packages and rates are a temporary measure. As I said many times, they will be getting more favorable for players with time.

Honestly, I have no idea at this point in time. Speculating on this wouldn't make any sense. I will be honest, it might take a lot of time, but we have the intention to make prices more fair.

Let me explain. The Thursday's update made the rates fair, this meant that you could buy the same amount of crystals for the same amount of money, not matter what currency you paid in. However, this decision to make the RUB and EUR/USD rates the same in one update turned out to be too fast, and has put the game's economy at risk. This is why the decision was made to roll back the currency rates to what they were before the update, and make the same changes as originally planned but in a gradual way, step by step. I know it looks stupid and I fully understand the fact that you are not happy at all. However, this is the only way to go — to make crystal/currency rates fair in several minor steps instead of one major one. I am sorry for any inconvenience caused, and assure you as the lead CM of TO that I will do my best to make sure this does not happen again.

Tankers, Two weeks ago we rolled out the Daily Missions feature and it has proven to be hugely popular. As with every new feature we release, we’ve been monitoring all the data and statistics very closely. This analysis cannot be done on test servers because these can never accurately predict what will happen in the actual in-game world. From our observations, it is clear that the current system for mission difficulty vs reward is out of balance and requires re-adjustment. As it is, the system is affecting the game’s economy negatively. We understand that the feature is popular as it is. However, we must consider the long-term consequences of our decisions. If we allow the system to remain as it is, the game economy will lose stability, ultimately ruining the game for players. Therefore, as an experiment, we have lowered the daily mission reward sizes by 50%. A few important points: The rewards for daily missions that have already been issued will not be changed Only the rewards for missions issued after the change will be affected Missions with XT prizes will not be affected We’ll be monitoring the daily mission statistics very closely, increasing or decreasing rewards and difficulty accordingly until we find the right balance.

Hey, there's no precise info on that. Once the economical model of the new Tanki takes its final shape, we'll be able to tell. For now it's not clear at all. If it's close to the current model, there might be a transfer mechanism. If it's not, there will at least be goodies for those who were dedicated players of the current TO. Wasn't a feature, it wasn't intended to be used like that. We'll analyze the situation and if enough tankers would be willing to be able to buy crystals for their friends, we'll consider adding such option for all payment methods, not just that Xsolla thing.

That's why these changes are being made. Crystal price for non-RU tankers will decrease, more or less to the current RU prices. Things are about to become 100% fair. Tankers! The long-awaited Daily Missions are now in Tanki Online! Daily missions are optional “tasks” that every tanker receives upon entering the game. They replace the Daily Gifts feature. Every day, you’ll be getting 3 missions from a selection of tasks. These are the ones currently available: Earn a specific amount of experience points Finish 1st in a battle Earn experience on a specific map or in a specific battle mode Deliver a specific number of flags Capture a specific number of points Destroy a specific number of opponents Pick up a specific number of supplies Completing a mission will award you crystals or supplies. The size of the prize can range from the equivalent of half a daily gift for the simplest task, to a whopping 20 daily gifts for the most rare and challenging one — it all depends on your rank and the difficulty of the task in question. We’ll also be having two rare missions exclusively for Generalissimos: “Destroy 9 999 tanks” and “Earn 99 999 experience points”. Completing one of these very demanding challenges will award a considerable amount of crystals or supplies, or the Hornet XT or Railgun XT. The XTs have a custom look but their specifications are identical to the regular M3 Hornet and Railgun. Additionally, they can be fully micro-upgraded and once acquired, they are yours forever. Daily missions are not reset with scheduled server restarts. This means you can take as long as you need to perform a specific mission — an hour, a day, a week, or more. If for some reason you don’t like a mission, or find it too hard to complete, you can exchange it for a task of a different type. You can do this once a day for free, and any number of times after that for a specific amount of crystals. The cost in crystals will depend on your rank. The daily missions system is available to players with a rank of Corporal or higher. By the way, the Double Crystal Card hasn’t gone anywhere and is still randomly issued to absolutely all players in the game. Recruits, Privates and Gefreiters can also randomly get a daily 30% Score Multiplier Pass. Additionally, we have adjusted the characteristics of close-range turrets.
