Hi mate, hope you're well. The answer is I don't keep information on everyone and effiency was just an afterthought. Currently, my computer starts to take a snapshot of a list of about 1000 players at the same time each night 23:50 UK time. These players are those who fall into one or more of the main drugger categories. If these players are active in the game, ie, played in the last 10 days and are not banned, they will be included in drugger spoilers. Once a player meets the requirements for being listed in the main categories, they are included in the effiency spoiler too. My program is a little outdated now after all the changes of late and it could be rewritten to include top players efficiency scores of players like yourself. Right now, I'm not in the right frame of mind to do this work. I'll give it some thought over the coming weeks and I might be able to add something like what you suggest in comment #2 of this topic. No promises though. ;)

Try not to confuse some personal thoughts and observations with arguments. But I kind of expected apologetics in one form or another. In my case, it's totally tanki's fault that I'm not playing. I want to play, I want tanki to succeed even. I would love to send some money their way too but I just can't do it when the game isn't fun for me for the reasons I stated. I love the fact that this game can be played from flash, html5 or whatever else without having to download anything special to make it run. I did 5 years ago and still do now. -

The game is still spawn, die and repeat. I haven't played for 6 months but popped in last night for a couple of games with a few friends and I can definitely say Overdrives are yet another massive negative move in this game. It's all too much change too fast. So many ways to be destroyed now and the protections we strived over years to acqure and microupgrade are now practically worthless. (Anticipated apologetic response - "Well you've got to give it time to get up to speed with the changes") - a couple of hours is enough to understand all you need to know. No meaning or purpose now. So how many turrets are there now? How many ways are there to enhance them using drones, alterations and overdrives? I found little meaning in wasting time in the garage changing my protection. Why even have them? I'm sure players would like to stay alive long enough to make a contribution in the way they want to make it but the game's direction is all about destroying and repair kits while the game mode you're playing is secondary to that and collecting stars. Stars. I notice some players playing just for stars and they don't care if their side wins as they're just trying for 3 stars. This needs to be improved to incentivise players to play for the team win and to stop selfishness. No Future. It's sad to see tanki still not listening. I might pop back in around Halloween which is normally tanki's biggest event and usually attracts the most players. I remember figures of 120,000 accounts online a few years ago. If half of that is achieved this year I'll be amazed. -

Hello tankers, The time has come for me to say bye. The last year has been the most trying time of my life for reasons I won't go into and I need to focus on myself now. I'd like to thank those friends who have stood by me during this time and helped me through. I know I'm not out of the woods yet. Playing tanki is now too time consuming what with missions and challenges, and honestly, it's really no fun anymore for me. I have enjoyed all the friendships, the rivalries and all the banter that goes with it although there is little enjoyment to be found these days. The HOT clan - I can honestly say some of you guys brought me joy and I won't forget all the good times we spent smashing those clans who loved to hate us. The Z0N3 clans - I'm happy to have known you guys too. Just some thoughts on the game itself: Matchmaking doesn't work. It strives to balance the sides but I find when I'm playing on my own, my side tends to be full of players who are unable to turn their turrets or are happy to sit in the back of a CTF battle playing like it's a TDM. This while the enemy side are rabid drugged-up wolves attacking in numbers, organised and with purpose. Mission-mults spoil games. These are the players who enter a battle to complete whatever missions they're given. Some of these missions should have been scrapped a long time ago. There is too much power out there now. The booster drone, when m4, is double-double damage so 50% protection doesn't mean much these days. Take Vulcan for example. That can be a game spoiler in some maps when equipped with the incendiary mix alteration. I do it myself to retaliate and quite often people leave, especially if there is more than one and an isida backup. 3 protections only against 13 turrets + mines + drones + overdrives + alterations. There is no balance anymore. In order to contribute, players need to be playing, not continuously respawning. Free Repair kits are kept deliberately scarce too while speedboosts are thrown at us from every angle. I know some of you want to say tanki is a business and needs to survive. Sure, I get that but the fun factor should not be neglected in the process. Pro battles are full of mults or raiding parties or both. Nobody can deny this. Punishments are nowhere near severe enough. Should I mention the constant game errors? I could probably go on all day but I won't. Thanks for the 5 or 6 years I spent here but I need to move on now. Good luck to all of you and all the best. btw, I'm sorry to say I won't be maintaining the 'Biggest Druggers' topic anymore either so if there are any takers, please ask a mod to transfer it. The script I use for this topic is part of a much larger program so I won't be sharing it. ps, I'll try and pop in around Halloween or Christmas to say hi.

Well I've also seen this in tdm. A pair of kissing isidas, sitting in the middle of massacre, both with 0 kills and a number of deaths. They can't kill anyone because of nanobots but they both lost the battle for their side but both came top because they somehow got the same score, 6 stars each. What's that if it's not sabotage or power-leveling?

Kissing isidas are a more and more common sight. They enter a place where they know they're going to suffer lots of damage and just heal each other. They often come top, get 6 stars, 0 kills, 10 losses + Is this considered power leveling? Can they be banned for it?

Every rank up before the rank of Legend will increase your efficiency. This stops after Legend. Rating can go up as well as down. Have a bad day and your rating could slip a few points and you could fall many places. When you're in the top 100 efficiency places, it is extremely difficult to improve but so easy to slide backwards. As I said, when the changes were made about a year or two ago, these changes made it possible for everyone to get a higher rating at a faster rate. The majority have been improving their efficiency ever since. Eventually, given enough time, players will stop improving and reach their level. I have not checked the top #100. I checked some but not all. The page layout makes it difficult to copy names directly onto my clipboard so I haven't been bothered. You haven't considered that I only have 100-150 spots for each spoiler either. Just because someone doesn't make one of the spoilers, it doesn't automatically make them a non-drugger. I'm a drugger but I only match Batteries and Paints but even if I had 1000 spots in each spoiler, I still wouldn't qualify for any. But I'm still a drugger, just not one of the biggest druggers. The word 'Biggest' sort of gives it away. Lots of players visit this topic to see stats. Because I could, I added the efficiency spoiler as a bonus sort of reward for those players in or within touching distance of making one of the main spoilers. It adds a bit of competition and some players will try to keep improving their stats. The weekly movement indication is a good addition too. It gives players impetus to play regularly.

Let me just correct you. When I have a minute or two, I sometimes click on a player's name, (using another script I wrote), and if their stats are sufficient enough to make one of the spoilers, they will be added. This is how some players get on the list. Since this has been going in this format, nobody has requested their names be taken off. Actually, I regularly get pm's asking me to add them. Players are proud to be here. So if someone is 63rd in the efficiency list and placed 1000, it doesn't mean that there are 937 non-druggers ahead of them. Many might be druggers, many might not be. I don't have all of tanki's stats to hand. I can only go from what has been made publically available and I only have looked at a tiny fraction of those. How efficiency is calculated is not something I have dwelled on. But the 4 main things it considers are crystals, experience, kills & deaths. The system was changed a while back to eliminate easy advancements via gold boxes, rank-ups, power-leveling etc. The only crystals that are taken into account now are those earned from battles. Having a high k/d contributes a small part to a player's place but the crystals / experience ratio is the main deciding factor. Sometimes a high k/d is not beneficial. It helps to be on the winning side. It doesn't really matter where you finish because everyone gets a portion of their side's battlefund allocation that is proportional and determined from their score. The winner gets a tiny bit more, i.e. the remainders from the other players are added after their reward has been rounded down to the nearest whole number. Having a high efficiency place doesn't necessarily mean your better than the players below you although it might be the case, it just means you regularly get high rewards for relatively low effort. This could be for any number of reasons. Better equipment, more drugs, battle-groups, drones, premium, playing just for double funds etc... even those crystal boxes that fell from the sky a few years back had an impact. The higher you go, the harder it is to maintain your rating and place but there is plenty of scope for improvement by everyone. This because of those changes made a while back. All these changes we've seen seem to revolve around MatchMaking and it looks to me tanki have taken a number of steps to try and get battles that are balanced. The better/stronger you are, the more likely it is you'll be sided with noob or weak players. It's not a perfect system but it attempts to find a balance.

Repair kits are the one's to go first for any competitive player. They're kept in short supply deliberately. That said, I do buy them individually during 50% sales and double funds. There is no point buying a 1500 supplies bundle in the shop when I'm only wanting one thing from them. Why do I want to increase my 40000 speed boosts to 41500.- 40 replies

That's why I said they can't be traded. I intended this suggestion to combat one specific problem area and wanted it to apply only to supplies and to ensure everyone has any supply available whilst in credit. If we start including other items then we will have some players without supplies. Whether or not another currency for the things you mention would be welcome is for another suggestion.- 40 replies

Tokens, (or whatever they will be called), would be the items used as a medium of exchange, ie currency. They're being exchanged for a supply in the game. There is no need for the added complexity. 1:1 is as simple as it gets. No need for conversions etc. We all understand a Nitro costs 50. No need to change it. Increasing the price of your units would mean all supplies would have to increase in price. That means you couldn't increase the price of RK's on their own. There is no need to add batteries to this idea yet, especially one that is so confusing and hard to understand. If you want to suggest an idea that would improve batteries then suggest it in a separate suggestion, not here please. Drones are relatively new and batteries are expensive. This idea is to ensure everyone has the supplies they want when they need them. Batteries could easily deplete your Tokens in a short space of time leaving you with no supplies at all. This should be avoided in my opinion.- 40 replies

What you're describing is what I've already suggested, minus the batteries. I've already explained why 1:1 ratio is better. What if they wanted increase the price of a RK? They can't make it 3 and bit can they? Buy/Activate/currency/energy units: just semantics. Batteries should be kept separate as these are automatically used without a key press.- 40 replies

But wouldn't those energy units be a 2nd currency? We would need an independant supply currency. It can't really be bypassed because tanki can't give us rewards directly in crystals. If that was the case, there would then be nothing in the way of us spending those cystals on upgrades and so on. Best also to keep the scale at 1:1 to cater for price changes as it would need to be flexible to ensure their income doesn't get effected. Also, it looks better on a daily mission getting a big amount.- 40 replies

Don't make me add you to my list :lol: The thinking is we could free up part of the garage too. There is little point in saying I want to buy 30 DD's for example with my tokens and then populating a Double Damage section wth 30. This can be bypassed by just pressing 3 in the game. If we have the tokens then a DD gets deployed.- 40 replies

You're absolutely right. Buying legends making new noob accounts for one reason or another are many and new f2p players are unable compete for any meaningful amount of time. This is why I said I wouldn't recommend this game now to newcomers. There is too much power out there now at every rank and it's no fun being slaughtered. I know a few players that regularly do this. They prefer to max out new kits from the shop at every opportunity to see if they can get their k/d's to a couple of 100 before giving it up around rank 25. This is where the fun is for them because at legend level the game is not that much fun anymore. At least with containers there was a good chance of getting DA's or DDs.

Introduce a new currency into the game. Let's call it Tokens for now. You can get these Tokens as part of missions, challenges or containers;eg, Instead of getting 125 Speed boosts, you get the equivalent value (125*50) in Tokens You can also buy Tokens with crystals 1:1ie, 1 crystal buys 1 Token You can use your Tokens to buy/activate any supply (batteries not included)eg, 50 Tokens will buy 1 Speed Boost. You cannot trade in your Tokens for crystals You can buy them in the shop Hopefully you see where I'm going with this. Remove all the individual supply rewards, eg, 32 Double Armors or 125 Mines and get Tokens instead so we can get what we want to get. No longer will we have uneven garages where we have too much of one thing and not enough of another. Tokens, Chips, Shells... example image edits:- 40 replies
