Well you didn't grasp what I wrote several times. Please don't misquote me. "Can't compete for any meaningful amount of time"
-
Ok, I'll leave it here since you're getting angry and that wasn't my intension. I was just trying to prove that current drug rates far outweigh career averages and you were most opposed to that notion, so that's why I used your stats after you tried to say all is rosy. Facts are facts though, it is a drugfest out there in MatchMaking, no matter the rank, f2p players are cannon fodder. It's not a pretty sight. cya

You've had some years now to accumulate supplies when times were easier and the mission rewards system was differrent. That's how. Everyone knows this. I see you've only used 2 repair kits in your first 25 minutes today. Shame your daily k/d had to suffer for it but you kept it under control by increasing your Double Damage rate to 53 DD's / Hour. Keep that up for enough time and you could almost make the biggest druggers spoiler 8. >> LINK << As I said, changes in the game have forced everyone to increase their drug rates lately, with the exception of some players who are deliberately trying to beat the system to prove some point or other. No doubt it can be done but it's hard-going and no fun staying in the shadows. Are you going to go for the challenge - matchmaking maps only remember ? ;) Thanks. The only way you can get daily stats like this is by taking a snapshot of your profile page, (json info), every night at the same time and then feeding the data into excel. It's something I do for the Biggest Druggers Topic, (linked above). Anyone can do this manually for themselves but I have it automated.
-
Maybe, but not everyone drugs as much as you do and maybe they don't want to just do missions then disappear to drug-free battles. Or maybe they haven't been saving supplies as much or as long as you have when the going was easier. You may think I am but I'm not arguing for or against the recent switch. I'm just merely making the point that it's too hard to compete for anyone trying to progress in this game. I know I wouldn't do it again and I wouldn't recommend this game to anyone because the fun-factor has been sapped out of it due to the overselling of power and it's only going to get worse. To top it all off, the better or stronger you get in this game, MatchMaking will put paid to that too. It will strive to balance the sides anyway and invariably you will be placed with clueless individuals that don't know what day it is.

I've never been selfish.
-
You obviously have a nice little stash that will get you through for a time. Others won't have this luxury and I worry about the picture, not just me. So to recap, you did a maxiumum of 9 missions in the last 3 days, using 44 repair kits in 53 minutes which is 51 RK / Hr. You get 120 RK's for 6 weeklies. Seems like your "5 hours a day" is obsolete now. More like 3hrs a week will deplete your stock!
-
No need to get embarrassed. I'm just providing facts. Your career stats don't come in to it. As I said, drugging is more prevalent now due to changes in the game. Here are your last 3 days worth. >> LINK << On the 29th, you used 55 repair kits per hour. So now after seeing this, you might want to revise your stance a little?
-
How much premium did you get when you opened your 200 containers? Probably at least a couple of months worth? Did you open them prior to double funds? You don't get premium in weekly containers. How many crystals is that worth? Much needed extra to improve a low ranker's garage I think. I've opened 200 containers during black friday. I reckon I got at least 600k from them, not counting the benefit from gold boxes, batteries or premium. Anyway, I'm not here to say what is better, 3 weeklies or 3 regulars. I maintain the druggers topic as most of you know and drugging consumption has escalated dramatically in the last year on all ranks due to changes in the game. The game is more drug-centric than ever and in order to qualify for your 3 extra containers, (of either kind), you will have to do 20 missions in matchmaking. Matchmaking, where drugs are used at every rank in crazy quantities. At your rank, you get 7 Repair kits in a weekly container. Good luck with that.
-
An extra 3 weekly containers gives you 60 repair kits. What would you say if I told you I have been monitoring your hourly consumption today. You used 12 repair kits in 15.4 minutes which equates to 47 Repair Kits per hour. 5hrs * 47 = 235 repair kits conclusion?
-
You've talked a lot but haven't really said anything have you. But I wasn't asking you. Quite frankly, no. Remember the net difference here is +3 weeklies and -3 regulars. That's the starting point here and proper question is about adding 3 of one type, not what's better, 6 of this or 6 of that. Start a poll and tell everyone that they're guaranteed 3 weeklies and 3 regulars but, as a bonus, they have the option of adding 3 more containers of just one type. Which one do you think they'll choose? When asked like this, I think the majority will choose regular containers simply for those extra chances of getting something rare, based on the number of complaints in this topic. Most are willing to sacrifice a small but steady income in order to get themselves chances of nice paint, Premium or a big crystal amount. This is how the lottery works. Whether it's 3+6 or 6+3, neither are enough to allow a f2p player to compete effectively for any meaningful amount of time. Nor do they allow a player to improve their garages at a satisfactory rate.
-
This doesn't explain what was stated. I'd like to see full workings out of how, "6 weekly containers can give you more crystals and supplies on average than 6 normal containers." Obviously, containers are lucky-dips or a lottery but you do get jackpots now and again. Weekly containers are obviously a better spread, depending on your rank and they allow everyone to compete for a battle or two which is probably the reason tanki have done this. But still, whether it's normal or weekly containers, neither are enough to compete against buyers for any meaningful amount of time.
-
Can you show your workings out for this or are you guessing?

Whether it's game changes or the mechanics of this or that, buffs / nerfs... it's all about money. Of course tanki / AP is a business and has to survive but come on, do we really have to suffer so many changes in such a short space of time? Tanki's customers are being messed about on such a regular and routine basis it has become the norm. Those of us who have invested time, money or both are constantly having their plans dashed, playing styles altered while having to constantly reassess and reinvest just so they can compete at a level that is acceptable to them. Managers have to be seen to make money for their bosses and shareholders and change is needed to force players to reinvest from time to time but there has to be a balance of keeping players happy too. This is without doubt a massive change for Isida. This turret is my used gun and I've been quite vocal about it's parameter changes over the years so I understand your frustration. You are within your rights to be frustrated, angry and upset and we can only hope that our comments are read and passed on to the game's decision makers. But we're a foreign community - how much do we really matter? We don't get that much feedback about being heard which only adds to the frustration and disillusionment. That said, I do like this change. Nanobots is now a viable alteration and if used right there is no reason why you can't finish in the top 3 every battle you play. You might not get many kills but you can play an important role in defence and attack but only if your teammates help you help them. The team needs to value your presence but if they're selfish and abandon you, then you might as well go the garage and change. It's their loss. But hold on to your hat. Hull overdrives are the way too. Brace yourself for more upset and more upheaval.
-
You talked about the math. Well it adds up for me!
-
Pro battles for me are full of mults and sabotage. I tried to play but every time there is a space on my side, a clan member from the side I'm playing against joins my side and sits idle. Matchmaking is work now. Everyone drugs constantly and those booster drones wipe everyone out. Players that had kill stats of 100 per hour are now reaching 180 per hour or more. It doesn't help when the side you've been given is a bunch of useless sponge brained dopes who don't know what day it is. It is less fun, I agree.

I used Isida a lot yesterday using the nanobot alt. I frequently came top of the scoreboard by just healing and using mines and made tons of crystals (81k). I didn't make many attempts to kill anyone because I'd invariably come off second best but I did make some kills with it. The healing power is better than before as I used to get 380 per quarter second using double damage. Now I get 400, it lasts longer, heals quicker and I get more points doing it. Isida is my most used turret but I do have a complete m4 selection to chose from. I spent most of yesterday sitting behind other players keeping them topped up and defending. My Crystal to experience ratio yesterday was 6.2 and I've not had it that high for a long time. Yours was 2.9 but you didn't play isida (just rico and smoky). I checked  Personally, I like the changes made to isida but I'm disappointed tanki didn't address the turrets that require two protections to defend against. You already know I think vulcan is game spoiler and I made a point of sitting behind some vulcans yesterday in TDM mode to check it out. I came top of those battles thanks to 15pt change, we won but it was boring. The opposite team didn't have a full compliment come the end of the battle as it was hard to break us down. Of course matchmaking is a killer and there are plenty of selfish players out there. Isidas want to help and the amount of players who don't make it easy are numerous. If isidas had a motto it would be, "Help me help you!". Some players are always in a rush to die.
-
Just because I corrected you doesn't mean you have to resort to insults.
-
We'll see won't we. Did you intentionally leave out the nanobots alt?
-
There is very little strategy now. 13 turrets, mines, drones & alts make it virtually impossible to play effectively enough when you only have 3 protections to choose from and are restricted in how many times you can do that. Then there is matchmaking with only 3 in a group.
-
They get increased points for healing the vulcan.
-
Very rarely can a vulcan sit in the open without being hit. So welcome to Vulcan isida online! It's already like this now. Don't you think Isida vulcan combos will increase as a result? We'll see won't we. Best stock up on Vulcan and Fire Protections! Personally I think this combination spoils the battles. A big hull on the base continuously firing with an isida behind. Even worse when there are two.
-
So if a vulcan is down to 5% health and an Isida heals it, the isida gets nothing?
-
Welcome to Vulcan Isida Online An oportunity missed to do something about the vulcan which already deals devistating damage on it's own and even worse with the incendiary band alteration. Now that isidas get 15 pts and better healing power, this is all we will see from now on.

Overdrives = strategy killer What's the point in playing chess when you keep wiping your opponent's pieces off the board? Any rekindled interest that came with alterations will soon be wiped out when these overdrives are introduced. I already hear players moaning because they've invested in this or that, only to see those investments made pointless AGAIN at a touch of a button.

I once had a match where everyone knew what those little white stars were. They even knew what button they had to press to use and share it. Sorry, not got the video but if it happens again in my lifetime I will do my utmost to record it.
