I personally like the blue boxes being there. We can't agree on everything! They might be a reason for some players to spoil games but the boxes themselves are not spoiling them, the player is. We should do something about the player and not the boxes. Funnily enough, there is a suggestion somewhere that deals with players who just crystal grab... :D

Silence used to be my favourite map. Is hate too stronger word? It's way too open now and everyone is running around like headless chickens taking fire from every angle. I got bored very quickly. You have to consider naming this map Silence II and leaving the old one there. It's good that you're trying to improve, I just really don't like it. Open up the tunnels maybe but keep the other no-go zones out-of-bounds. Sorry about the negative criticism but it's an honest appraisal. Don't throw the old silence away!

You've not got this at all. It's about getting something for your time and effort. It's also a deterrent for further violations. There is nothing here about becoming police or wannabe mods. If you're really that uneasy about it I'll put a limitation in my suggestion to make you sleep better at night.

I'm not talking about the act of banning here. Nobody is talking about players becoming police. That's the moderators job.

I'm talking about situations where videos are required. Screenshots can be submitted relatively quickly. If anyone wants to edit every frame of a video with photoshop then be my guest but you'd earn more picking up blue boxes in the time it takes you to meticulously edit a gazillion frames.

You can photoshop a picture sure, but who is talking about pictures? Not me!

It should be enough to cover lost game time and that's all. No more and no less. More and provocation becomes an issue.

I never feel good about reporting anybody at all. I wish I never had to do it and everyone played nicely. Too many people say they can't be bothered and so violators are prevalent and are running riot. Reward those directly from the violator and we'll see a big cut in game violators.

How many times have you not bothered to video a violator because you thought it was a waste of time? Making videos for Violation Mods to judge is time intensive and takes a lot of effort to capture, process, upload, document and submit to the violators section. Why not get a small crystal reward, direct from the violators account, for your trouble? It would be payable only if punishment is issued. It wouldn't be a large amount, enough to cover lost game time, say 500 - 1000 crystals max. Conditions: Only payable for reporting WO5's and above. Videos only, no screenshots. Violations captured via video where a simple screenshot would have sufficed will get no reward. Only 1 reward payable per day. Crystal grabbers who don't do any battling are the scourge of tanki along with saboteurs and mults. If you haven't done it already, get yourself over to this topic and support my idea for kick2 which would see them kicked from your battle. Support this campaign too. Cheers!

Hi canadarules, v-log5 actually was partially responsible for this current campaign. At the time v-log5 came out, I wrote this which basically thanks tanki for their hard work and asks a question or two regarding this new group of battle violation mods that are supposedly coming to the rescue when we type /vote. Since v-log5 I have used /vote on numerous occasions and have not witnessed any direct benefit - it's actually got worse. That's not to say others are not benefiting, someone no doubt is, but I personally don't see it. The Last Straw: I then suffered at the hands of leshikok1 who was a saboteur in a 100 flag ctf battle. He was a red in the Silence map but decided to hang about with the blues. He pushed us off the sides with his mammoth or held on to the flag only to relinquish it when the blues were ready to capture. This went on for ages. Most of us used /vote to no avail. I had time to pm ostrica who was online at the time telling her what was going on. I got a reply from her advising me to use /vote. I also had time to create a forum topic about the on-going sabotage but no help came from that quarter. In the same topic, I received this from a moderator, "Let's look at it statistically. There are essentially 14 moderators who's job it is to check battles and have full powers in chat. There are 50 servers you can play one. Generally, there are about 3k people on servers 1-4. There are different levels of people on other servers. Say there are 60 games per server, average. That's 3000 games to moderate. With 14 chat moderators, that's a ton of work. I say this with full sincerity, the chat moderators are working there hardest to keep battles clean and safe for you all, while at the same time maintaining order in the lobbies. That's an extremely difficulty job for them. Instead of expecting a chat moderator to come, take a video as you have done and post it in Game Violators. Consider having a chat mod come and help you a bonus for taking the time to do something. Everyone must pitch in to help keep this game a fun and friendly environment." As a result of this, we decided to, "pitch in". Why? Because we care about which direction this game goes in. We are passionate tankers who really enjoy this game and don't want to see it deteriorate into the mult-fest it's slowly becoming. So please do us all a favour and stop trying to derail the things we are doing trying to help. It takes time and effort to respond and it doesn't do anyone any good. It never works for me. In a recent example, I had time to pm a mod, get a reply and post a new topic to the forum asking for immediate help and assistance. All that while, sabotage was still going on in a 100 flag ctf battle. I got told to use /vote in the pm, I already did that, obviously, and no immediate assistance came as a result of my topic either. The game went on that long that I ran out of disk space recording! I wasn't the only one who used /vote in that game. If it works for you all the time then you must be special! Here is the short version of the video I made. If only you were on my side, we would have won 100-0. You would have no doubt put on your red boots and cape and showed this guy that you can't be messed with. Players Moderation - New Team Kick Idea Everybody knows that /vote isn't as effective as we would all like, hence the growing dissatisfaction amongst players. I've only ever witnessed it working once in all the time i have played and it wasn't for my /vote. We all need to work together to combat spoilers but we ourselves have to stay within the rules. One violator can ruin the game play of a 100 players in the matter of hours. If he is not dealt with swiftly then he has won. Everyone should support this because only good can come from it unless you're one of the game spoilers who want to derail it. I take videos when I can. It's important to weed out violators when we see them. Some people will view me as the bad guy for doing the right thing. Well I don't care about that. You keep violating, I'll keep reporting. Lets do this together and let spoilers know they are not welcome in our game unless they behave. Keep up the good work.

Shots don't count, hits do. It's mathematically impossible to go more than 9 hits without a critical hit for the m3 modification. If you go over 9 then refresh, something is wrong. Smoky/Titan is currently my fall-back combo when the heat is on. It's wicked against hornets.

Can anyone tell me if the blues, who have come to an arrangement not to kill the red violator, are breaking any rules? Should such battles be discovered, both Players will be punished;" Why is there no specific rule; Aiding saboteurs from the enemy side, by deliberate inaction, in order to gain an advantage. We all know that MM061, vovaroom, pohos, andrey325, 345yra543, megadana, serega69, pypkinsashamail.ru, etc... were gaining an advantage unfairly so why should they get away with it?

The video I have does not comply with the violators rules because it is too long so I will shorten it tonight. It will take lots of time and effort to do so. Is a one day ban sufficient? Tanki need to ban this guy permanently. I have clear video of blues not firing on the red who was helping them. Will these players also get a ban? They are helping a player break the rules by not shooting at him and are facilitating sabotage. They made a clear arrangement not to fight the red mult with the purpose of gaining xp and crystals.
