I know I'm a noob compared to you but I have used fire since I was a recruit and have come to know it well. I would say yes get it. However i would also buy a faster hull. I think hornet is a good choice. The little extra health can be just enough for advanced sting operations. I'm getting m2 hornet on sale to go with my fire. I would also reccomend a thunder or rail paint to use with it. I have cedar and it works wellhope this helps
