  1. So you are correct it is very rare to see one but not because they are hiding, but because they are not even there. Face the facts /vote does not work. Chat mods are not required to respond to /vote (Yellow battles) Game Violators mods are. So the number of available mods are already reduced. It requires too many players to is issue a /vote command in order to even notify mods (turn battle names yellow) A very high percentage players do not even know anything about /vote. Out of the total number of players that do know about /vote very few know how to use it correctly and even fewer can be bothered.
  2. I don't blame the moderators for this problem. The problem is in the management department not with the mods. Tanki head office will not give you enough help or tools to do your job effectively so we are forced to endure the all the people that don't think rules apply to them. I wanted to use another word in place of "people" but didn't want to get banned. ;)

    GROWING NUMBER OF MULTS

I posted this in another topic similar to this one. Do I think "multing" is the main problem? My short answer is yes, but it is bigger then that. Multing is a result of a poorly set up in game economic system. Tanki is not a cheap game to play. It takes very large amounts of crystals to purchase the equipment and supplies to stay competitive. Tanki may be free to play but is most definitely pay to win. So what options are there for getting crystals? We all know that you can buy them for real money, but this is not possible for all players. This option has also created a real imbalance at all levels. You can get them as a gift. This has never been a real source of crystals. I think I have only gotten free crystals a dozen times in 2 years. You can earn them, which unless you are real good or have real good equipment is very slow. We all know that you can't do much in this game without crystals. We can also see it is very hard to get them. So if the first 3 options are not working you will need to resort to something a little more dishonest or unethical. This is where multing, sabotage, and raiding come in. I think that the economic system needs to be re-worked. It needs to set up in such a way to allow players more ways to earn the crystals in an honest way. As I already mentioned, earning crystals in battle is not easy or fast. It requires you to be in the top few places on the winning team.I have seen mults on the winning team earn more crystals them hard fighting players on the losing team. That is not right or fair and needs to be fixed. So how do you insure that you will be the in top few spots on the winning team? If you're a "buyer" with the best equipment money can buy, you stand a good chance, but it is far from a guaranty. You still need to part of something bigger. For non buyers it is even harder. Both buyers and non buyers have now resorted to using mults and saboteurs and/or joining a group who's whole propose is to insure it's members always win. These groups have become very creative at raiding honest players of crystals. Raiders come in 2 forms. This 1st group shouldn't really be called raiders. They are groups of players that move from battle to battle as a group, looking for battles with enough free space so all members can join the same team. Sometimes they take over a battle and effectively "raid" it, but they do not resort to dishonest and unethical tactics to win. They do not use mults or sabotage. Many, in fact, will play with honor and except a lose when it comes, with dignity. I don't really have a problem with this group. Many of these are Clans and this is what clans do. It may seem like raiding but it is just team play. The dishonest group. These guys and gals travel in packs, like scavengers, looking for any battles that they can load up the teams in order to gain the advantage. They resort to using mults, sabotage and even cheats. They almost always are using some form of external communication. I have seen groups that will have members on both sides of a battle and take turns being on the winning team. They are "raiding" the random players that join both sides. Members will usually not kill each other, only the random players. They work together to make sure their members are in the top spots on both teams. There are even groups that share accounts. They have a large pool of accounts and members know the passwords to any of these accounts. They can use them as mults, sabotage or use them for free kills in order to increase the battle fund. They try to build all the accounts up with good equipment so the "members" don't really care what account they are using or whether they are winners this battle or next. They also don't need to worry about bans either because members will just switch to another account. So in summary, the problem is that it is nearly impossible to police a problem like this. So to me the solutions is to remove the need to steel the crystals and give players a better chance of earning them honestly. Reworking the economic system is the best solution. Here is a link to a topic I started some time ago about this issue. Campaign against Mults and Saboteurs You can have a read if you like, there is some more interesting discussion in it as well.

[Poll] Multing problem in the game

This is because there is such a demand for crystals and very few ways to earn them. People have had to resort to joining these organized groups of mult users, just to earn the crystals needed to stay competitive. The problem of mults is creating the problem of mults. It's self perpetuating.

Well I would say it is still a record "The most likes for a suggestion topic completely ignored by the developers"

    Let's Discuss the Developer's Plans.

You will not get an answer from anyone in the development team. They rarely have time to discuss anything with our community. However it is my understanding that you will get to transfer your current account to the new version.
  8. Article looks good. I was going to make a new demo video but I don't really see the point. I haven't played this for about a week and a half. I tried 1 game yesterday but it was a waste of time 4 or 5 mults on my side and over powered players on the other so I left. I doubt I'll be back anytime soon.

Improved micro-upgrades are in the game

Yes, it is the same as buying the items individually. You can mix and match all you want. I actually bought a kit some time ago just to get the hull and paint, I didn't care for the gun.

Improved micro-upgrades are in the game

LOL They don't need any help in the "fool players into spending more" department. They need help in the customer service department. More accurately, they need someone to teach them how to treat customers.

Buyers: Tanki Favoring 'em a bit too much?

Well there certainly has been lots of that lately. LOL

Improved micro-upgrades are in the game

No you have to upgrade all parameters to the max to get the next M for free. They don't offer discounts for partial upgrades. That being said maybe they should just add another button that will upgrade to maximum all in 1 shot. They could charge a convenience fee for using it. Just think of all the impatient, nieve kids they could trick.

Improved micro-upgrades are in the game

Here is something else to think about that only supports our conclusion that Tanki is offering all these seemingly cool updates only to increase their profit margin. They recently gave us the ability to rank at twice the normal rate, for a price of course. Now they give us a way to own more powerful equipment earlier, for a price of course. So now, for a price, you can reach Generalissimo much faster than before and Tanki is betting on the fact that once you reach Generalissimo and find out the party is over, you will start the cycle all over again. Keep in mind that for those going through the game for the first time, they will rank faster than their skill will grow and in order to stay competitive will soon be forced to buy crystals. The other reason Tanki wants you to go through the ranks so fast is because the cost to stay in the game at higher ranks is huge. I know lots of players that have spent a $1000 or more on this game and still don't own everything M4. Based on an admission of one of their own devs, Tanki's focus is on up and coming players and keeping them interested. It is not on Generalissimos By giving buyers such a huge advantage it will force non-buyer out of the game. As @RustyNail stated Tanki Online: Free-to-Play but Pay-to-Win They should but this in their ads.

Improved micro-upgrades are in the game

I disagree. I'm positive I'm already seeing them. Saw some the very first day. Tanki is always talking about balance but what has happened to that idea now? I know, it has become secondary to making more profit. This update is unfair to non buyers, Tanki knows it and couldn't care less. This is now a very unbalanced game. We always complain about slightly over powered weapons but now we have over powered players at low ranks.

    Let's Discuss the Developer's Plans.

It should only apply if you were disconnected. If you leave by exiting the game of your own free will, then too bad you lose your spot. You can't leave a line up for something and expect to get back in the same spot. So why should you be able leave a battle only to come back latter? But it really doesn't matter what I think anyway.
  16. Canadian_Eh

    Double Standard, is it fair?

The price should be the same world wide if they don't want to piss off the North American players. They won't even let us buy in rubles. Tanki declines the transaction.
  17. Canadian_Eh

    Double Standard, is it fair?

The difference is you are buying that chocolate from 2 different companies. We are talking about buying the same thing from the same company for 2 different prices depending on where you live. That is really stupid business. The exchange rate should be the only difference in cost. Tanki claims to be international but are truly only focused on the Russians, and maybe the Arabs. I've heard rumors that they are the ones funding this little project.
  18. Canadian_Eh

Buyers: Tanki Favoring 'em a bit too much?

Well at the risk of sounding racist, this is how Russians typically do business. Anyone that has had business dealings with them will confirm this. They usually will draw every last penny they can and then just close up shop. They will just change the name and start all over. This is not so easy to do with a game but clearly maximum profit is their only concern, so I don't know what the future of this game holds.

Buyers: Tanki Favoring 'em a bit too much?

LOL It is now, but the cost has gotten out of control and unrealistic. You can easily spend thousands of dollars on just equipment. I didn't even count the money spent on supplies. I have reached my limit and will no longer be buying any crystals. This game is too rich for my blood.

Buyers: Tanki Favoring 'em a bit too much?

WOW did you say a mouth full of truth in just a few words. There are so many things that are missing from this game and so many area for improvement but Tanki whole focus has shifted to making more money. Recent decisions lead me to believe that Tanki is in financial trouble but rising the cost to play this game will only make the problem worse. People will spend if they want to, but not when forced to.
  21. Canadian_Eh

    Let's Discuss the Developer's Plans.

In my opinion Tank is going completely in the wrong direction. They are making this game a buyers only game, but the cost is way to high for what you get. So many things are missing from this game. People will buy more if they feel it is an option, but when they are forced to they will not and leave. Good successful business men will confirm this. People are more willing to spend because they want to, not because they have to.

Is Tanki going uphill or downhill?

Sadly, they don't care. But nice try. :)

Is Tanki going uphill or downhill?

I started topics about this comment a long time ago. Nothing changed and nothing ever will, unless you can prove it can make them money. Do developers pay attention to our ideas? Feedback for the Mods of this section

    Bugs and Glitches Reports [Closed]

The anti-cheat system or the new micro-upgrades update is causing the game to become almost unplayable. Anytime you try to push another tank 1 tank ends up on top the other and some times destructs. Pushing and blocking is a huge part of this game and now it doesn't work. Come on Tanki, your programmers are dropping the ball ( or flag if you like) a lot lately. To be honest this game is really starting to lose the fun factor. Cheaters (mults & saboteurs) , hackers and buyers with really deep pockets are ruling this game now. I used to be a buyer, but I'm not going to spend thousands of dollars just to stay even close to competitive enough to play. The cost have gotten out of control and unrealistic.
  25. Canadian_Eh

Improved micro-upgrades are in the game

Could be related to anti-cheat. It most definitely is responsible for some issues and like every other recent update, it is flawed. My personal opinion is, the anti-cheat is hurting honest players.Hackers don't care about a few random self destructs, they have such advantage they easily recover from them. The real solution is better policing of the game, with real people, not some buggy software patch.
