Please no, if you buy the big package (70% discount 24/7) they are already way too cheap! But no, fortunately no further discount on drugs.

No, you are right, he is not a hacker. Glitch? No, the topic would already have been removed. No Amier is likely someone/something else.......

Already Happy New Year! When I look at the discount, everything is at sale. Even all the kits, they are already 24/7 on sale. Only thing that is not discounted is the Micro-Upgrades. In a way that is strange, because it is a huge change in TO. So I wonder if those toys have something to do with MU 'ing? Maybe something like some free micro-upgrade steps or something else in that direction. Would be nice! :)

    Let's Discuss Hunter!

Compliments Adam for the intensive research! Your videos were clear: the Viking is (a lot) faster at the first meters. Just what you need for peek-a-boo tactics. The centered turret is less ideal for this technique but the Hunter has the same issue. The step up from Viking M2 to Viking M3 might not be that impressive, but hey the M2 is already superb! For me the Dictator is a clear no go, so besides the Hornet for CTF I really do not need any other hull than the Viking. That means more crystals to spend on micro-upgrades, turrets and some good paints......good stuff!

    Let's Discuss Smoky!

I have Viking M2 because I hacked!!! No, you smart fellow, if you read my previous posts ( I know: boring :D ) you could have read that I bought the M2 Hullkit: a form of hacking with consent of the Devs  Smoky M1 is indeed a super gun! Unlocks early, cheap as hell and can bring you to pretty high ranks! A lot of Tankist (the, "I nééd Big Gun" type....) seem to forget the huge benefits in practicing their skills: with Smoky you fire a LOT (every shot missed or better on target means more practice!) and you shoot at all distances with relative ease. Now with the micro-upgrades you can (to a certain extend) close the huge gap between Smoky M1 - M2 even further. So you can enjoy that little miracle called Smoky even longer....... Yes, the Mammoth, as it already went in Nature, will become extinct. The World changed again and this time it can't keep up with the pace....still darn hard to kill though, those last ones...... :D :D Well Dictator and satisfaction: Mick Jagger also played with the Dictator in TO.....true story!.....you know his song..... :P

ZiAa wrote: "Keep it up dude and trust me, when savannah users get in the game you will see how hard it gets ;) good work" Yes, you are right. Unfortunately though. Can't we put a ban on Savannah: because it is extremely harmfull to the eyes.....it is ugly as hell! Well the (mostly Hornet-) Railers I fought with yesterday must in a way have felt the same. A Viking M2 is already bad news, but a Viking M2 with Tundra: nightmare material !!! I still wonder why so many of those Railgunners ( I was on a Russian server so it was: "Smok mir?" ) wanted peace??? :D :D :D

Think so. At least I am certain I will try it. Have a look at my post under "Let's discuss Ricochet", maybe it helps. http://en.tankiforum.com/index.php?showtopic=177136&page=29&do=findComment&comment=3313694

    Let's Discuss Ricochet!

Rico is a nice gun. With another practice-account I needed to rank up to WO5 to be able to buy Thunder M1 ánd Cedar paint. I only had a Rail M1 and a Rico M1 on this account, bought the Rico a long time ago, but almost never used it. The results at that time were not good at all. More skilled now I decided to give the Rico another go...and at least liked it a lot! It is not a gun for a beginner for sure! You first have to have very good moving skills if you want to make something of it. So if you can not drive your tank properly: for example you really need to stand still to aim and shoot....you need a lot more practice....or go for Twins or Isida..... :P I think Tank-control is the clue for any success in Tanki! As tank I prefer the Viking for the Rico. You need a strong, stable tank for it and a medium speed is just right, really fits for the already quite difficult aiming. Just like with the Railgun you really need to peek-and-boo! Too many Rico-players I saw are constantly in the open, and get killed too easily with their emptied gun. The Rico is superstrong when fully loaded, a piece of cr.p when not. So you try to attack, kill, hide, wait for the (pretty quick!) reload and attack again. Another benefit of the Rico is the very huge impact it has on an enemy hull. Everybody who played TO for awhile, certainly the light-hull players will know the defenseless situation you are in..... So you can just use the Rico like an Isida, just close in quickly and destroy the enemy. Nothing wrong with that, but if you don't use the bouncing effect at all you miss a lot of the effectiveness and certainly fun! Bouncing the plasmaballs also has quite a steep learning curve. The partially automatic aiming helps a hand! If you are for an example, at a higher point/ ground than your enemy, you just have to find the right angle and the wall-bouncing balls will go automatically downwards to your enemy. If you have not got the right angle the balls will just move sideways from the wall/ obstacle. If you can not get a good grip on the bouncing effect you could try and play a free carambole-billiards game on the internet. Very good practice! Soon you will not use óne wall, but two or even three for the bouncing effect. Nice! :) Another thing is an encounter with a Freeze. If the Freeze attacks any tank from behind (the sneeky bast...) ;) almost every time the tank is done. Before you are able to make a turn with gun and tank combined you are soon finished. Not always true with the Rico! If you can move halfways and have a wall you can puts some bouncing plasmaballs in that s.cker! Lets see if he likes that! :D Another difficulty is aiming. Because of the relatively slow moving plasma-balls you have to constantly anticipate where your enemy will be while he is moving. Pretty hard in the beginning but if you stick with it you get the hang of it. But still aiming straight like with Thunder or Smoky is a lot more easy for sure, and maybe related to this: their effectiveness? Distance can be a problem too. Rico is Extremely strong at close distance, very good at medium distance if you get the hang of shooting moving targets, but Rico is ofcourse useless at long distance. Find the right Map and you will be fine though! Played it in Polygon DM and that went well! The last benefit I can think off is in the Paints. Not to many players use Paints against the Rico, so there is an advantage. Finally it is important to have a slightly higher camera view (or be able to change that view quickly which is even better) so you can see and use the bouncing effect a lot better. Sometimes you really have to go to the birds-view, I mean completely from above, to be an effective "Ricochetter"! I never like that myself because I feel disconnected from the tank and the game, but you do not have to use bird-view as often as I first thought. Fortunately! Conclusion till now: really nice gun, pretty hard to master, but also fun! Only thing I doubt at the end is it's effectiveness, I am really still in the dark about that. On this moment I play Smoky M1 which is proven itself to be much more effective for me, but I am almost certain I give the Rico another go at M2! :)

    Let's Discuss Smoky!

ZiAa here is some Smoky gameplay: Just had a very lóóóng but rewarding Polygon DM 999 kills. Goldbox fell several times, got it twice! B) In the battle I fought with the Viking M2 (from the M2 Hullkit) and the Smoky M1, both slightly (a little bit) microupgraded. Nice combo! I honestly only used drugs at Goldbox time, ofcourse all the "Out of the Sky drugs" I could get ánd an occassional mine (discountmines of 5 crystals each....). Just at the end I was adviced by an opponent to use drugs, because there seems to be some glitch, that otherwise you can get kicked out of the game. Is this true?? So the last 30 kills were on drugs, went totally mental! But I will stay a non-drugger for sure, I already cheated with the M2 Viking at WO5....

    Let's Discuss Viking!

Firebird —5% Thunder —22% Railgun —46% Shaft —15% Sorry Yvano, but you are wrong. Thunder can only be micro-upgraded to 33%. Nice, but certainly a lot less. When you upgrade the paint I understood (correct me if I am wrong) that you can maximize it with the half of the original strength. So for Thunder in this case 22 + 11 = 33 % Railgun would become a whopping 46 + 22 = 68%!! Fortunately the Devs do not allow this! The maximum of any paint upgrade is 50%! No paint can (fortunately) have a stronger component than the 50%. Otherwise a weapon would become more or less useless against this kind of protection. So the fully micro-upgraded (and véry expensive) Prodigi is: Firebird —7.5% Thunder —33% Railgun —50% Shaft —22.5%

    Let's Discuss Hunter!

Good warning Adam, thanks! Never really checked on accelleration, did not thought it would be so important. I just checked TO Wiki and the numbers are clear: The Hornet acceleration M0 to M3:  8.6 10.12 10.96 12.14 The Viking accelleration M0 to M3:  9.5 10.97 13.06 13.9 The Hunter accelleration M0 to M3:  7.2 8.27 8.68 9.42 Wow, a "sprinting" Hunter is pretty bad! It is like Usain Bolt having to sprint the first 10 meters on sand and the other 90 meters on the track.... And look at the Viking: the numbers are even better than the Hornet! Well I thought the Hunter M3 would be a certain buy. It seems I can save myself a lot of crystals in the future! :) Especially in my favorite Polygon DM, you need the short quick sprints, the Hunter doesn't cut it! So it seems that the M2 hull-kit I bought only has two tanks I like: The Hornet and The Viking. The Mammoth was already NP- junk (proposal for a new name for the "Mammoth": the "Dombo") and the Hunter M2 is junk as well, because it seems non-upgrade worthy material.....the Hunter simply wears too heavy boots..... I am going Berserk! : playing Horny Viking all the way! :D

Did you already try the Dictator at a lower rank or are you going to take a Huge ( like the Tank itself :P ) gamble? There is truth in your comparison between Wasp and Dictator, your experience ith the Wasp will be most welcome! If you shoot at a Dictator with a Rico you can actually make it spin a quarter of a circle. Not more because it is already "dead" by than....too bad it is nice "dancing"! :D

    Let's Discuss Smoky!

Well I am a dedicated non drugger (stupid as that might be). Only use an occassional mine and ofcourse (1)234 when a Goldbox falls (I am not completely mad :) ) That is why on my main (Smok-Ti-Thun WO5) I decided to buy the M2 hull kit. That is cheating as (hell) well, but I can not fight opponents who do use lots of drugs ánd too early unlocked hulls. On another practice-account I "buy" the Thunder M1 with Cedar, to get some more practice with that gun on the Viking M1 I already have. With my Smok-Ti-Thun account I micro-upgraded the Smoky M1 a bit, also MU 'd the Viking M2 and Tundra-paint a bit. MU 'ing becomes too expensive very soon.... I will buy the Thunder M1 and Cedar on this main-account as well, but I will not play with this Thunder M1, but continue (at least try) to play with the Smoky M1 till I can buy the Thunder M2 at a next discount. Love Smoky! I will than play with the Thunder M2 untill the Smoky M2.... (that is the plan). The M2 hull kit (allthough it should not exist at all in the first place, you should first have the proper rank...) is nice. The Mammoth M2 is, sorry, complete NP-junk...anybody interested? It's free.... ;) The Hornet M2 is very nice but lacks the HP for my game-style. Will do some occassional railing with that little beauty. The Hunter M2 is junk as well, but I can make a "cheap" upgrade to the very good Hunter M3 in the future. Ofcourse the Viking M2 in the hull-kit rocks! So it wil be twice Thunder M1 with the Cedar paint in this sale.

I know: you really like it? The Stats are incredible, but the tank is big and very unstable. You might "fix" that unstability with your skills, but still....

    Let's Discuss Hunter!

Better the Hunter than the Dictator in my humble opinion. Certainly the Hunter M3. My highest rank ( so it is not so high) is WO5 and till now I never met a Dictator-tankist who impressed me. It might be that it is a great tank in the right skillfull hands and presumably at higher Ranks, but untill now I consider it a rather Big, moving, clumsy and unstable Target. I am a lot more afraid of a skillfull Wasp-tankist! But untill M3 I strongly believe in the more common Hornets and Vikings. Personally I prefer the Viking (especially at DM 's), because you can play in a more "agressive" style. Hiding and taking cover is still very important, but you can stand your ground in the "open" too.
