Review [Special] A Test in Review: The Matchmaking System
Yisroel.Rabin replied to Yisroel.Rabin in Newspaper Archive
The new system doesn't discourage playing with friends. If they were to do that, they probably wouldn't add a 'Groups' feature. Also remember there are still regular battles. And I don't mean "so what," as an offensive push-away. I'm saying people are complaining that they can't play with more than 4 friends at a time when they're completing missions. Isn't that a bit of a stretch? And you can trust the devs because they're devs... It's a simple fact. If they say they'll change something, they will. The clan system, as far as I can see, doesn't really need fixing. You can't be mad at something that doesn't benefit you in any way besides giving you a clan tag. -
If I were one of those guys I'd probably do a bit worse than just ignore you. :x

New suggestion, make a star.

^ Guess what that is.

I'm not exactly sure how I feel about this one. I was just messing around with effects and this was the result.

See, here's my view. You have a great idea, a voting system would be a great idea for a potential system like this, and although it shouldn't be entirely dependant on the results of the vote, it should have a significant impact on the concluding decision. However, I cannot agree with the way you present your idea. You could've easily said the same idea in a respectful way, and trust me, the administration would have appreciated it a lot more. -

Please don't violate the games rules (namely use swear / curse words, use profane language, flame, etc.). Posts breaking the rules will be hidden. If your post is it, it's probably because it violated a rule. Feedback isn't respected when given in such a manner that violates rules. On another note, know that I personally do care about your guys' opinions (you can say I don't but I simply do). I'm reading every comment here and taking each one into consideration. I don't have any contact with the developers, so I can't make any or suggest any changes. To those who're saying that the newspaper team has presented false data in this review (i.e. that we manipulated data to make it appear that players like it when they don't), I suggest re-reading the review. We've stated the flaws players brought up quite clearly and didn't tamper with any data or work our way around the truth. Many people disliked the system, it's a fact. The developers are working on improving the system to make everyone happy. Don't say that isn't possible before seeing their offer. They could potentially offer a very great and significant change, one that you may like very much. You never know. Again, please don't violate the rules. You might think it'll get your point across quicker, but it'll just do less. -

I don't see the issue though. Maybe I shouldn't have called them dishonest, because I didn't mean that, that's why I put it in quotation marks. Tanki noticed they introduced a bad system, hence players we finishing their missions too easily, easier than they anticipated. They didn't release missions for players to pick up boxes in an empty battle and and get up to 2,000 crystals for it. It was being abused, and that was Tanki's fault for releasing a flawed system, so they fixed it. Now it may be harder to complete missions as easily, but it's what they wanted in the first place. Either way, notice that I mentioned that as I side point. People weren't really complaining about picking up boxing, but more about not being able to complete other missions, such as "Destroy enemies," because their combo isn't fit for that particular map. It's actually a good idea. Perhaps the reason they aren't doing that is because it'd be too many variations. PRO-Battles, regular battles, and MM battles. Nonetheless, good idea. It seems like, even after all that text, your only complaint is the rank brackets, which, if you read a mods post, watched the V-LOG, read this article, you'd know that it was a flaw which is going to be fixed. -
I personally have the same feeling, and the same opinion. I like the current design, although a few things could be brought up to somewhere close to TX's design. HTML 5 can add cool effects. They could make the tab menu glow in night mode, for example, which would be cool. They could do lot's of cool modern stuff without making it like TX. I don't like TX's interface, I get dizzy after 15 minutes of playing TX, which is a shame because they have lots of cool stuff from what I hear, like Invisibility modules and mines that follow enemies. But I'm a noob when it comes to these stuff, so I have a question, will the actual game graphics change? Like, will we keep our current props / tanks or will that be changed too?

They removed it because it was far too OP, besides, Isida is still OP. I use it a lot because of how OP it is. Hazel is the oldest developers out there. :P -

Why? I like your suggestion. Hazel said in the previous V-LOG that they're reworking the system and looking into creating a compromise. -

Review [Special] A Test in Review: The Matchmaking System
Yisroel.Rabin replied to Yisroel.Rabin in Newspaper Archive
You should try reading it. :3 Believe me when say that the developers don't want to ruin the game. They understand there were many flaws in the testing, and are now looking into changing the system to suit everyone's likings, like was said in the previous V-LOG. -
— Yisroel.Rabin's Rank Up To Pizza — Knowing me, you know I'm not one to hop into a regular battle and rank. I usually make a rank up party. I was planning to make one this time around too, but accidentally ranked in an intense XP / BP battle instead. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Thanks to @cafy4 for being there. At least one friend was there when I ranked.

First let's get the good game outta the way. By the way, the Solikamsk CTF battles were really good games. There was strategy being used from both teams, and not just noobs running around picking up Repair Kits. Hard to find these good battles. A duel a randomly was invited to. I multed, by my teammate was so good that we won. xD During the above Solikamsk games, i accidentally dropped a gold... But it's okey because... That's not the same gold though. The one I caught was one that dropped later, this time randomly. I missed let noobs take the gold I dropped. c: Also, I joined a STG. Some guy said Magnum wasn't allowed, and then someone else said it was, and then someone said it was allowed but we can't kill and he ended with "good luck." I took the gold within 10 seconds. However, right after I took it everyone protecting the gold started calling me a kid for taking it with Magnum and before it even started. They said it was allowed and said "good luck," which I took as a "good luck, now go for it" sort of thing. Either way, I felt bad and wanted to shut the nubas up so I dropped a gold and it landed in the same spot I took it, and they continued the STG. xD Phew! I know this won't make any sense to most, becuase I can't explain it well, but it was just so funny. I was trying to get into the red base, and got killed by some Isida because I was on low health. He was still facing me when I died, but as I died, he didn't even notice, but his entire team came down behind him, chasing a little Isida / Wasp who was holding the flag and running away. Best part of the story is that we capped. I must be a really nice guy.
