Last two Polygon CP 's with my brave Hornet/Thunder Battle entry halfway. Still worth it Full Battle: definitely worth it! :)

Best Polygon CP D/L so far:
-
The MU 's on Viking and Rail aren 't that strange. Only Viking 's HP and only Railgun 's damage have been fully micro-upgraded. Viking 's HP bar is full now because I used every MU discount available from the moment I got it. Though it 's not really worth it, because the difference between Viking M2 and M3 isn 't huge. On the Rail M2 the MU 'd damage is worth it. It becomes a very powerful weapon with it. About Smoky: went a bit crazy last NewYears discount when MU 's were 50% and speed-ups 85%. Three steps left on damagebar which I will complete this May holidays four days micro-upgrade discount. Sandstone is a required XP paint if you use M2 equipment (Hornet/Rail). I got this paint with the old Medium M2 kit which contained Viking M2, Thunder M2, Prodigi, Emerald and Sandstone. Sandstone is indeed "crappy": you can have almost the same if you fully micro-upgrade Corrosion which will still cost you a lot less in total. A brilliant paint that Corrosion.

Don 't expect the Viking M4 would loose from the Hunter M4 in such a direct confrontation, but the Hunter M4 will IMO be more effective in general. Close-range weapons thrive on faster hulls. Though in Polygon CP "pit-wise" the Viking M4 certainly has more endurance: in most other Maps I would prefer Hunter M4 above Viking M4 with short-range turrets.

They do "exist": only in our imagination that is

^ Congratz! @M1-A2 True, it can partly make up for the lack of armour: but heavy hulls have the advantage in such tiny Maps. Wasp and Thunder in skilled hands can be awesome, if not it 's a total noob combo. So lesser skills? Take Hornet... :D Thunder in general probably is most effective with Medium hulls. Though it 's a heck of a lot of fun to play it with light hulls! And indeed: hit and run can be very effective.

Got a similar experience so far with Hornet. Still very playable, but it had a slight nerf. Haven 't been playing non-test battles with Viking yet, very curious how it handles. I take your word for it: so it most likely had the same sort of treatment as Hornet. Not complaining, it was to be expected. Both hulls are too popular. Though TO should IMO also bring out more kits with those less popular hulls if they really want to stimulate hulls like Hunter. Bringing out "Medic" and "Jackhammer" kit containing both Viking isn 't very helpful...

If you want a versatile hull choose Viking (Hunter) If you want a hull for defending, holding CP points or DM choose Mammoth (Titan), though IMO depending on your skill level the Viking can do all these tasks just as well.

My garage: Love my Hornet M3, but at Fieldmarshal it will surely get company of another great and buffed M3 hull: the Hunter M3 (on my alt "heavy" account @Smok-Ti-Thun I only have the Viking at M3 which is as heavy=slow I 'm willing to go) Main weapon Thunder M3. On Marshal it will be Thunder M3 and Smoky M3 (soon Rail M3 without any MU 's and purely for XP) Paints are ok. Main paint (ofcourse) Prodigi

En nog ontzettend heul véééééééééél vroeger ( ik win -_- ): . ^ singulariteit (Big Bang)

This is how it would look like when this kind and mild Takeover Team pays you a visit...
-
You got it
-
It 's not dead at all. Only reduced: no problem. :D
-
Thunder suffers a tiny bit from the slower reload, but time your shots carefully and IMO the buffed damage will fix that minor problem completely. Don 't be frugal with DP 's and ooh boy... Nice battle and fund in Year 2042 DM with one of those nerfed Hornets. :) (they actually are)
-
Can imagine you wish such a superb combo. I would prefer a Smoky M3 instead, but (I fear) the Rico is a lot stronger.
-
Echt wel, mijn overgrootvader had er twee in de schuur staan hoor... Alleen vroeger, héél vroeger had je nog geen stroom.
-
Polygon CP. Great Map to earn crystals and rank fast. Though IMHO also a "nooby" CP Map which isn 't very helpful to improve gameplay/skills. Battles here today with Hornet M4, Thunder M3.5 and Prodigi. Take over DP 's help a lot Entered the battle late

Nope, I don 't play in Noise. Don 't like that Map at all: but I get your point, with all the upward- and downward fighting going on here, the new Isida will not work as well as before. Also keeping a distance from your opponent is hard here, I guess another reason why the new Isida suffers in a Map like Noise.

1. no clue yet 2. Twins? 3. Hunter ( with only Hornet M3 and Viking M3 in the garage this hurts a bit :D )

Changes in the parameters of turrets and hulls

Freeze isn 't annoying...it 's enjoyable to encounter one! When they freeze you now it brings back good memories of old Tanki-days when you had not learned yet how to turn your turret. (irony mode : off) -

It was never very popular in the first place, compared to Hammer. -
It probably depends on the player if the Isida is nerfed or buffed. Because of the small cone you now really have to aim with the Isida. It 's totally different in that aspect from the Freeze and Firebird where aiming isn 't that important: just shoot somewhere at the direction of your opponent and they do their job. The rebalanced Isida instead has to be handled like you 're firing a Smoky or Thunder. Otherwise it will be "jumpy" indeed and non-effective. If you handle it well you are rewarded with a "long-range" short-range turret, with increased damage and a larger reservoir! Personally (combo Wasp-Isida) I like it a lot. The nerf is found in the smaller cone (reduced firing angle) and if this stays like it is (most likely) you have no other choice than adapting your gameplay, or choose another (short-range) turret.
