How would I know? Didn 't test the machinegun yet. The Shotgun with some improvements especially the one which will make you actually see if and where the pellets do impact is ok. Not ready yet so hard to give a good opinion. However having a three-shots clip makes it an interesting weapon that has to be used with some good strategy: How much is my opponent already damaged, will that single shot left in the clip will be enough to destroy that tank or is it better to just empty it and start reloading etc. The Machinegun certainly looks more interesting and different. Still I haven 't got a clue if the gyroscopic aiming effect will make it totally "noob" or totally "Pro" or something inbetween. I just hope it 's a weapon that requires skill and not another kind of Twins (not my intention to insult Twin users btw). Let 's wait and see! (and test ofcourse)

In one occassion this set up was actually true IMO. When they introduced the Crystal Drops from 100, 50 and 20 I suppose they knew quite well how the players would react. They even ("coincidentally") introduced them together with double funds. Result: Tankers going crazy for the crystalboxes and teamplay became more than ever completely corrupted. It served a good purpose though: it clearly and undeniably showed how much crystalgrabbing already always was interfering with the real purpose of CTF, TDM and CP battles. These gamemodes rely and are build on teamplay and you as a team can 't have "teammembers" multing around to get some crystalboxes for themselves and consequently neglecting the teams efforts for victory. I don 't believe in such a set-up for this update. The only thing I could imagine with a lot of fantasy that they would give us format battles in a sort of trade off with making Private battles only available to Pro Battle pass owners. If you want to believe in complots you can make up everything really. But that 's really not what I believe. I think they just made a mistake with the Tankers negative reactions towards the Private Battles update and I still have a small hope that they will revert it to being an option in normal battle creation again.

Six months...while I 'm typing this my room slowly turns into a children 's pool filled with my tears... ...how are we supposed to survive... :( :( :( ... On a more serious note: sometimes real life is more important than Tanki (really?) so good luck with your exams and know that a devoted and friendly Tanker like you will be missed! (while I 'm slowly typing (as usual) this I constantly see new reactions being added so proof enough) Goldrock till next Summer!

Which a camping Shafter so desperately needs to stay awake
-
Agreed. Good for just about any gun: Hornet, Hunter and a bit less the Viking.
-
You did open the spoiler on top of my post? I (sincerely) hope that! :D
-
Your answer Sir!
-
May I suggest a BIG Red Arrow hoovering in the sky, straight above and pointing downwards at the camping Shaft? It may be accompanied with the text: "here he is..." but that isn 't really neccesary I guess.

Another XP/BP confirmation: and...another one: #TankiOnlineIsGoingUphill (...except IMO regarding the "Pro Battle passing" of Private Battles)

1. Hazel, indeed and the new one looks better 2. Hazel, ok 3. Hazel yes! finally we will be able to really aim with it! 4. Hazel: very usefull addition I suppose Hazel thank you for this to-do-list. And Hazel will we still be able to try out these changes on the test server, or will it be closed before the to-do-list becomes a reality? :D

Why not none of those two hulls? ;) Ok, if you really want to go for Goldboxes than a M2 Dictator might be handy. Trouble is this hulls upgrades to M3 at Generalissimo. That 's the main reason for me to don 't fancy this hull, besides a low speed and shape related issues. You already have the Viking M2 and in a nearby future (two ranks) the proper rank to upgrade it to M3! That would leave you with a Viking M3/Thunder M3 combo... Next indeed you should invest in micro-upgrading your M3 Thunder especially damage ofcourse and a bit of reloading. I own the Thunder M3 and have the damage at step 10/25 and the reload at 5/12: makes a huge difference. Might increase it further on a 50% MU discount, but I doubt that would be very efficient. What 's left could be used in micro-upgrading the HP of your Viking M3 which also translates into a stronger hull, which has a much better chance in "pushing and surviving" it 's way to Gold. That how I catch my Golds, but I have to admit not that many because indeed the Viking is not of the best Golddiggers there are due to it 's shape. And a Viking M2/M3 certainly one with MU 'd damage can stand his ground in DM 's and defence besides the Titans and other heavy stuff. Use its speed to avoid as many direct confrontations with the "Big Boys" as possible and take your cover and the Viking does a pretty good job in DM 's. Also in defense the combination of speed and a very decent armour works like a charm. IMO your fourth option with an added Viking M3 it is... :)

You are right Trom, but don 't bother trying to convince him. Everything Tanki touches turns into Gold in his view... ;)

Yes, your right. The Wasps flips 360 degrees and will ofcourse land on its tracks, hence they will change the name into "Cat" I 've heard. It 's still a rumour, but I heard this from a very reliable source... And ofcourse who cares about HP in the first place. You can always dodge every shot that is fired at you when you have a Wasp! Dreams do come true!

Why don 't you try? "All" these updates are so bad according to you. Be specific about what is wrong if you want TO to do something about it. Do you really think they care about a post like yours: think again. #TankiOnlineIsGoingUphill (and sometimes makes a few mistakes along the way)

Your doing pretty well for your age: and that IS a compliment. Allthough I do agree with you that Tankers on many occassions are reacting too early or only half-informed on an update, I really don 't have to experience the removal of Private Battles to be a 100% sure that I (and a huge majority) won 't like it. :) Sometimes updates are not being implemented for the fun of players. Again just business. For example TO has two imaginary updates ready to roll out: -Update A means that all players will have a harder time to earn crystals, but it would also mean more Tankers will buy. -Update B means that all players will have an easier time to earn crystals, but it would also mean less Tankers would buy. If TO thinks it 's pretty sure with update A they will loose 10% of the players but the annual income of the company will increase with 10%. And with update B they will gain 10% more players but this would probably also mean a loss of income of 10%...what would you think they would choose, keeping in mind it 's a business. Ofcourse TO has a great interest in us Tankers having fun and they will try hard to achieve that. And I think they overal do a very good job! But in the end the money plays a huge role as well, and maybe that 's not always in our, the Tankers interest, but these people want to earn and deserve a decent income as well. So the removal of Private Battles is probably also better for the business, at least that is what TO management seems to think. And if so I don 't agree with them at all. TO needs to keep that large group of non-buyers very satisfied as well, completely dressing out the non-buyers TO won 't be very helpfull to achieve that. Non-buyers are also potential buyers TO...

"That 's how it works lad." Seems to be hard to maintain a high standard yourself isn 't it? And it 's not how it works. Some updates are partly debatable, some updates aren 't. Been on the forum and TO for a while and Tanki is not the democracy as you seem to think. It 's a business and if the management has made plans to go into a certain direction than some updates will simply being pushed through. That 's how it works, sometimes for the good and sometimes for the bad: just as in real life. And do you really believe that 70% or 80% of the tankers will be happy with the removal of Private Battles? I really would like your answer to that.

In this case they claim to have looked at our feedback and because of that they came with this update. That 's a different order and I also don 't believe at all, that there were Tankers who requested or wanted Private Battles to be removed from normal battle creation. Why would any Tanker who has a sound mind want that to happen? I agree with you, they do improve a lot after they received our feedback but sometimes updates are already a closed deal. No matter what. I 'm afraid this is one of them. Probably some stubborn manager who isn 't ever going to change his mind, because you know: managers are always right, always! (meet them a lot (too much) in my daily work... :D )

Nope, were all on a forum and everyone is allowed to speak his piece. If you agree with it or not. Just try to stay polite in the meantime: "just shut his mouth" is not, generally speaking, considered very polite... "We know that devs are working hard, and we aren't wasting our time here in the forum. We want the game to be better so that's what this is all about" ^ second that! :)

Yep, they made a lot of good updates: Smart Cooldown supplies, the end of team neglecting crystalgrabbing, nightmode etc. Removing Private Battles isn 't one of them though, more about this after the next more or less solved XP issue: With this announcement they will fix the XP/BP issue of nameless battles. Even better XP finally becomes official! It would have been a lot more convenient if this was already realized before this update, but TO seems to be in some sort of hurry? Maybe this has a lot to do with the introduction of Unity? When they introduce this I can imagine they don 't want to be busy with updates or even have the time for them. Also us Tankers won 't like a transition to Unity that gets troubled with ungoing updates. My feeling is they want to have the game is some sort of end state just before Unity and that 's why all these updates come this fast. A bit too fast for a vast majority I guess. Just (try to) hang on! ;) Private Battles Allthough I think most decisions/updates they made are good or at least good enough for now I believe they are making a grave mistake regarding the Private Battles. Private battles were used by high ánd low rankers to do parkour, clan or private trainings, rank-up parties or just to make a battle with some friends. Private battles were accessible for everyone no matter the content of your wallet or the amount of crystals you had earned. Private battles were one of the best ways to socialize in Tanki Online. A very nice possibility this game offered for especially low to middle rank players. They often lack the crystals to get a Pro battle pass and if they do they are compromising the crystal amount they are (and should be) saving for getting new equipment and paints. The least Tanki can do to show it 's good will and maybe even more so to help promote the Pro Battle pass, they so clearly want us to use: is to adapt the price according to rank. A sergeant shouldn 't have to pay 5000 crystals for Pro Battles of his rank that don 't even exist at this moment... Below Brigadier a Pro Battle pass isn 't worth it right now, a low-ranker won 't find enough Pro Battles to be interested in getting it again a next time. The only exception will be in XP/BP which can be played well with some proper skills and IMO M2 equipment. A First Lieuenant can perform well in XP. But a Pro Battle pass should not be an XP/BP pass or am I wrong? Even better it would be, that this wrong desicision in many Tankers views gets reverted. If even the helpers start to protest TO should realize I guess something is going wrong here... Sentences like "The changes made are largely based on your feedback" are always right btw. Does largely mean something like 51% of feedback, and also feedback on which of several topics? One thing is sure removing the Private Battle option will be close to 0% of your Tankers feedback. The game becomes simply pretty plain without the Private Battle option. Removing it 's significant socializing effect, which promotes TO underneath especially new players is something TO seems to be confident about that it can 't do any harm. We, if I may speak for a vast majority of Tankers: don 't agree.

...and even more so on impact...

If we got two completely equal players who know all the ins and outs of their hull, and are also equal in skills: it 's a fact that the Wasp will flip more in comparison. That 's just a matter of a lower weight combined with the smaller chassis the Wasp has. The Wasp has plenty of other advantages compared to the Hornet like speed, braking, better manoeuvrability etc. but I 'm just amazed how Wasp players adore their hull, like there 's nothing wrong with it. Sometimes I 'm almost starting to believe it has even more HP than a Mammoth! A good player should know the disadvantages of his hull, acknowledges them and find ways to deal with them. Another fact: fairytales just won 't help with improving skills. -_-
-
I think he understands that. It 's just bad news for a lot of Tankers, and I also really feel it was an unneccesary and at least much too early step TO seems to have taken here. First they should make the Pro Battle pass popular (because it isn 't now: just make a huge Event to promote it) and than TO could make this step without too much Tankers complaining. XP/BP has already proven that the Pro Battle pass can be popular, but first you need enough players to create a reasonable amount of battles. Non-XP Pro battles are still pretty rare... This is the other way around: any Tanker who occasionally wants something else than a normal battle and was used to use the Private Battle option is now forced into getting a pro Battle pass. Ok, that 's also a way for TO to reach it 's goal, but it 's a way that causes IMO a lot of unwanted and unneeded "friction". Small hope they will revert it, but probably not.

Tried the new turret again and I stick with my recommendation for using a medium hull with the Hammer. Tried all three of them and IMO the Hunter or the Viking (my choice) are better suited than the Dictator. To be honest I 'm not a Dictator player at all, but afaik and experienced it 's a bit too slow for this turret. That 's just my two cents...
