Why is is possible for the "healer" turret to play in battles where it is impossible to heal anyone? I assert it should be impossible for isida to play in DM.
-
Best idea for Overdrive: Forget it. A zero-supply of some sort in DM is probably good. Any sort of zero-supply in team matches is bad.
-
Wow, just did it again. Playing my alt, General, M2 (fully MUd) dictator-ricochet in a a full Tribute DM, I finished in a pack of distant seconds to the stinking isida, a lowly brigadier. He ended the match with 68 kills, while the rest of us competed for second in the mid-30s. BTW, I have 39% protection against isida. Obviously not much help, especially with the four or five firebirds in there. Isida is absolutely overmatched again. It really is crap.
-
Complaint? Isida! (Need I say more?)
-
Nah, isida is the worst. Isida stink. Isida are always frustrating. I suppose I have adapted to all the other crap changes Tanki has made over the last several months. The Overdrive (zero-supply) in team matches is probably worse, but hopefully that won't be back, except maybe in DM. Isida are crap. Isida players are always annoying, always frustrating. I can't stand them as opponents, and they are frustrating as teammates 80-90% of the time. To me, isida as is is the biggest frustration, biggest mistake Tanki has made in several months. Isida stink!

Isida stink! I just ran a full 15 minutes in a standard DM up to Generalissimo, almost entirely Generalissimos. I was second with about 35 kills and my typical ratio nearly 2, and the stinking isida had 61 kills and 5 deaths (maybe 6 or 7). Geezes, devs, that aint right! Tanki, isida is much too strong again! Why did you do it? An avid supplies-using isida is absolutely unstoppable. You have fubar'd it again. I again implore you, exclude isida turret from DM. Nerf the damage and attack range, and beef it's heal-range. If it is a healer, let it be. It is mostly just a frustration, the biggest mistake in all of Tanki. Isida is just crap. It is wrong for the game.

Howdy Gabe, I'm not shy about my supply usage. I tend to use less than most I fight, but not by much. Mostly, I don't buy supplies. I use what I earn. That, of course, has me run out somewhat regularly. I don't like the overdrive because it so imbalances team matches. I don't like what the did to the supply-cooldowns because it totally changes tactics. I'm a bull-aggressive player. My twins-viking is well suited to it. One cannot get flags without supplies under most circumstances. I use what I earn so I can help my team. I used to try to be frugal and reserved with supplies. I quite early in the General-ranks. If I'm going to help my team, I find I must. Tanki's motto for some months has been, "Use or lose!" That is the way it is. Use or put up with it.
-
Devs, I really don't think you ever play the game. I don't think you comprehend how overpowered the isida is again. It is ridiculous! Honestly, at times I think you just despise the players. You seem to treat us like we are simply inconvenient. Isida stink. They really are crap. Total CRAP!

Zero supply is bad. It cannot be on for team battles. Remove it, and don't bring it back on future holidays. Overdrive eliminates all possibility of a team recovering after it gets behind. The cooldown changes during birthday celebration were bad. Don't leave it. Put supplies and cooldown back as it was. It is called Overdrive (or zero-supply). Hopefully it will be taken back out of the game. It was an interesting idea for holiday that ruins team matches. Click the shift key after 100% to activate all supplies without affecting your other supplies (which may or my not be in cooldown). Note that it will do the same for nearby teammates within about a tank-length or so.

I trust Tanki Online will remove the Zero supply (overdrive), at least for team play. It is likely to be useful and popular in DM, but I'd place an honest wager that overdrive will finish of Tanki if remains available in team matches. It completely eliminates the possibility of recovering once a team gets behind. Overdrive truly sucks. It sucks all fun out of team matches. Tanki has had trouble offering fun for the last few months with the changes that made most everything like most everything else, but I was finding myself enjoying the play much of the time. This week, this birthday celebration, has had more frustration than fun. Zero-supply was the source of the frustration, that and the bad changes to supplies and cooldowns. The changes to the supply cooldowns is almost as bad overall as the zero-supply is in team matches.

Birthday was fine, but zero supply (overdrive) cannot stay in team battles. It is broke. It really sucks. Sure, in solo DM, overdrive is cool. Gives a thrill. It could charge a bit faster. In team battles, it gives the opportunity for one team to take over and become totally dominant. It kills morale for the losing team. They quickly prove hopeless, continuously spawn-killed, without the hope of even using double armor, and never getting another overdrive charged. It is ridiculous! The change to supply cooldowns didn't help, it made it worse! Crap, devs, the changes were total crap. I'm only 20k experience from Legend. I'm sure I won't quit before that, but if you keep the overdrive in team matches, I just can't see the point. I already play more DM than I like because of missions. There would be no point whatsoever in any team match if the overdrive stays in. Look at my stats and my ranking. It is easy to look up. I'm not up there with the top 100, but I'm no noob. I can often turn battles. With the zero, my team either dominates to the point of pity, or it quickly becomes hopeless, every team member repeatedly being spawn-killed. I can only suppose the few who gush and praise overdrive are simply immature children. There is no fun in being spawn-killed for the last five minutes of game, that gets over in 9 minutes, nor is there any fun in being the one doing the killing because your mates are all getting that overdrive recharged and sharing it with three to five every half-minutes. Overdrive is really bad. I do believe it will finish off the game. Don't keep it, at least not for teams. Don't bring it back for teams on future holidays. It really is bad. It really kills competition and any sense of fairness in the game. And the changes to the cooldowns really, really suck. Totally changes strategy and tactics to slow down the play. Absolutely opposite of what I play for. Please put the smart cooldowns back the way they were. Good enough.

In English, falcon. In Russian, сокол (pronounced sokol).

Isida is way overpowered again. They need to dramatically cut isida damage and significantly increase isida healing of teammates. I consider isida the biggest mistake in Tanki. If Tanki removed isida, I would be very happy. They could at least restrict isida use in DM. Isida should play team and never be able to play in DM.

Isida stink! Isida is Tanki's biggest mistake.

I'm glad of the sales. Fairly good. Tanki birthday is worthwhile. However, something is off. Gameplay is different. It can't be just the supplies changes. I despise these cooldown parameters, but that shouldn't be affecting overall play. It seems impacts are up (tank rotates more than normal with each hit) and damage is up, perhaps decreased hulls. The protections are significantly off of what I'm used to. The Overdrive still has too much effect for teams. I tried to stick out a slaughter where the other team was spawn killing like mad. If I could get away for a second or two, a mine got me. Mines were everywhere, EVERYWHERE, at our base, at our spawn points. Overdrive for teams does not work. It completely eliminates the ability of an unbalanced team match to come up to level. The team with the edge quickly becomes demoralizingly overpowered. Especially when one cannot even activate a double-armor to stay alive long enough to just get out of the line of fire. These supplies parameters are bad, very frustrating. Why cooldowns on entry? Is the point to allow opponents easy kills once team play has become lopsided? Are you trying to ensure overwhelmed teams cannot recover? Glitches and freezes seem to be increased again. If you tweaked parameters as I fear you did, I suspect the changes are causing the glitches.
-
What did you do? First, the supplies like this are crap. Total crap. Second, what is different? Nothing is the same. Did you reduce hitpoints on hulls? Did you decrease protection modules despite the percentages saying they are the same? Pisspoor birthday with everything messed up. What did the devs change? Again, the supplies changes sucks! Totally sucks!

Magnum has proven to be a poor addition to the game. It is disruptive. It detracts; it adds nothing. I don't have suggestions, at least not yet. At first it was interesting, and it could be countered. Now, people have figured it out, and it is just frustrating. It kills matches, not just tanks.

Tanki Online's biggest mistake is isida. Get rid of it. Next biggest mistake is magnum. It was interesting at first, but now that people have figured it out, it is just disruptive. It make battles nearly impossible. It detracts from the game. I don't know what to suggest for fix. It is a mess, almost as sickening as isida.

Sales on Shop paints, servers merged, new paints, and more
OKDad70 replied to theFiringHand in News Archive
Paints are okay, a couple of good ones. Since I'm cash strapped, I'll make do with the paints I have. For the servers, are you working an automatic translator? Might we see Bablefish or Google translation built-in, accomplishing on the fly? Live chat translation during battles, so we few English can communicate with the majority Russian? That would be cool. Also, get busy on updating the designations. I suggest Sv 01 etc. instead of Ru 01 etc. (Or, simply numerals with no alpha.) A neutral designation will help for all of us. It will help understand that language is more likely a barrier. Even if we English know some Russian, we don't have the text characters on our keyboards. It is a bummer to have so many non-English on Tanki-X. Now it will be the same here. Sure, we all play about the same, but communication can add to battles, and it certainly adds to overall playability and enjoyment. You imply the battle matching system will allow for preference settings. Please include a preference for language, including an "Any" option. I generally don't mind playing with non-English, but sometimes it will be good to know there will be others to chat with. I have high hopes for the battle matching system. I sure hope it will not be a disappointment. Final note: You may have fixed some bugs, but there are new hard-glitches that lock or kick from battle. The bad one for me was early in a battle, so no loss, but it didn't bring me back in. It dropped me on a different server. I had to enter manually, starting over from zero. Not good. No bueno. Glitches that freeze the screen or kick from battle are the biggest frustration in the game. (That, and fly-hackers.) BTW, I'm using the client unless it acts flaky. Then I use Opera, Explorer, or Edge, in that order of preference. -
03 May 2017 server reset is broke
OKDad70 replied to OKDad70 in 03 May 2017 server reset is broke Archive
I can login with client or Edge or Opera. Those usually work fine. I usually play client. However, none will load battles. Time-out eventually, and get kicked out multiple times for one battle-load attempt. It seems to be all, since battles in list show zero progress and points. -
Something is broke. I can log in with client or Edge or Opera. None of them will load battles. It will eventually tell me I am removed from battle for inactivity. Interesting, it will kick me out several times. Again, client and multiple browsers are not working. Further, it is apparent others are having same problem, as no one scores in battles on the battle lists.

Greetings, I have been complaining that most recent changes, especially the great-leveling some time back, have ruined the fun of the game. Tonight, for the first time in a long time, I found myself thoroughly enjoying the game. I often avoid Lost Temple due to the excessive sniping. I joined a Lost Temple battle tonight on a whim. To my surprise, the battle ensued immediately. I'm generally effective with my noob-combination of twins-viking. I always have been. After the great leveling, I couldn't stand the sluggishness and played vulcan-titan for a few weeks. I was used to its sluggishness. I tried my main combo occasionally, and eventually switched back to it. A few MUs have helped, and a couple of updates seemed to improve the overall. (However, I still hold grudge against Tanki for killing me with splash self-damage until I could afford the alteration to put it back.) Anyway, in Lost Temple CTF, I equipped my shaft protection, and I was soon atop the leader board. I slaughtered my way across the map through the attackers (rather than too many snipers) numerous times, and destroyed so many shafts I became giddy. Honestly, it has been months since last I found myself excited about the game. I still recall how much more agile the viking was before the great-leveling, and my twins was SO much more responsive in quick-turn close combat back then. But I seem to have gradually learned how to eke the most out of the lumbering viking, and the twins seems adequate. Two games in a row. First place both times I'm sure it helps that the viking is fully MUd now, and my twins only has three to go. Please, don't trash the system again. Please don't adjust everything so skilled players no longer have the right skills. I have excessive amounts of time invested in this combo. The great leveling and the splash damage both almost made me walk away. I still hold that Tanki was much funner while each piece of equipment held true advantages that skilled and persistent tankers could hone into consistent success. So, kudos, but it still seems there is much pay-to-win mentality now. Tanki's apparent motto is still, "Use or lose." I find the daily missions nearly sufficient for my supplies use to keep up with the obvious buyers, but when I'm out of repair kits, flag-captures just don't happen. Supplies are what they are, but not being able to match the supply usage of opponents substantially reduces success. My cash expenditures have been limited over my three years in the game, but my rule has been to not buy supplies (not even with earned-crystals). Once already, I've grown sufficiently frustrated over lack of supplies to use my earned crystals for the 100-supplies garage kit. In other words, one can hardly be effective without ready armor and damage supplies, but lack of repair kits leaves some battle objectives (particularly flag captures) out of reach. I consider that a pay-to-win situation. The new premium perk seems a small step in the right direction, but it still requires cash outlays. Sure, $28 every 90 days is likely affordable and perhaps worthwhile to an established adult, but it is not an option for the children. So, while the new premium perks help those willing to pay a little, it remains pay-to-win. BTW: tankiRating.user.data.rating.efficiency Object {position: 32840, value: 8932977}

I just got a megamission (ten thousand kills). I want to do it, but it is impossible to get during this holiday celebration. It is a standard megamission, not expiring in 24 hours? Please tell me it is standard mega mission and I have plenty of time.
