Mega missions: Do we have many days, or just this holiday celebration time?

Tanki-X makes all this look good. I am up to Level 15. I am often playing level 21+ who drop down to kill weaker tanks. Further, early evening USA, well, 8 to 16 players are typically all that are playing. It is hard to get battles. Missions are called quests, and there is only one, kills. Early, you only need to kill 10. Not hard, but your equipment is sluggish. Later, it goes to 15. I find about 20% of players in CTF get 15 or more kills. Almost have to play DM. I mostly play ONLY DM so I can get my kills. Also, rewards for quests are minimal. Overall, I don't think Tanki-X is nearly as good as Tanki. Sadly, Tanki now is a shadow of what it was two years ago. If you have a mission for a certain battle type, turn off the others and hit the battle button. You will start a battle with you in the middle rank it will be the type of battle chosen. That is, if you need DM, turn off CTF, CP, and TDM. Hit the battle button, and you will be placed in a random map of DM. Of course, you will be the only one in at first, but be patient. They usually fill up. However, I often go to Russian servers. I often have to sort through six to ten servers before I find an appropriate battle. Sorry, that is Tanki now. BTW, Tanki motto for a while now: "Use or lose." You don't have to buy. You can earn enough supplies and crystals if you get at least one mission every day so you get the four-week chain bonus every week. You must wisely use supplies, because as is, and as has been for the last few months, use or lose. Use frugally, but use or lose. If you want to get flags, you must have supplies. Same for golds. (I don't bother much with golds. I average about one per month.) I have noticed one bright spot in this update. Much of it seems a wash, a little good mixed with a little bad. I do think you found a good fix for something that bothers me. That is, setting "Battle" button for Gismos to a high limit of Gismo is very useful. I find that nearly all legends are using fully MU'd equipment (20 of 20 microupgrades on both turret and hull, with a good protection module). I also find most of them to be experienced and skilled. Setting the battle button to create battles with ranks between brigadier and generalissimo takes out most M3+ combinations, and it keeps skill levels closer to my own. Since I've voiced complaint about most updates for the last several months, I figured I should comment about the good. I do figure Tanki, as a whole, is trying, but the tries have been mostly failures since the great levelling that took away most of the distinctiveness of the different hulls, and somewhat the turrets. I keep finding the game almost as much frustration as enjoyment. I am only still playing because of hope that you figure it out. I hope you figure out how to bring that old fun back into the game.

Please encourage the devs to nerf hammer. It is too strong. It is especially too long range. Hammers are absolutely dominate right now. They totally control battles.

I understand the need for changing how supplies have been working, but this experiment had nothing good. This experiment had me trying nearly 100% of the time to do things I just couldn't do. The changes relative to normal were too drastic. These parameters do NOT work. Hazel-Rah commented that supplies settings like the first experiment were boring. I agree, reservedly. Still, the last experiment had merit. Tweaks and something closer to current settings could work well. This experiment had nothing to offer. Perhaps it is good for developmental data, but it was not good for me. It lowered the fun-level dramatically for me. Frustration was constant. It forced me to try to change my tactics. It forced me to alter playing style in ways I did not like, in ways I will not get used to. My total experience for all six of my accounts is at four-million now. I only still play because of that investment. My level of commitment was very high. It is now only just keeping me playing and hoping for improvements. Your recent changes have mostly been detrimental to me. If you go to supplies like this last experiment, I'll probably give up.

Regarding 30-second duration, played Tanki-X? The short duration will affect activation decisions. Need to be engaged quick, or it will run out before it matters.

This looks like an experiment in encouraging supplies use, and little more.

G10_N10 hacked cooldown

Player G10_N10 has been banned for a MONTH. Reason: Attempt of hacking. Reported to Tech Support for BLOCK -
Howdy, I'm not reading comments, at least not yet. I've played. I think it is close to what we want. I can't complain about it. I'm confident I will get used to it. Overall, I hope you take account of feedback and figure out how to improve it. I think a supply system like this experiment will improve play. I'm still worried about besieged teams getting behind. I think there needs to be a mechanism that alters supply cool-downs such that players on the losing team have shortened times and the players on the team farther ahead endure longer times. The effect should be proportional to the disparity in both score and team members. The effect would necessarily not affect DM. It would need to be different in CP than the other two team modes. Losing teams can turn CP battles often. My suggested cool-down effect should be less significant in CP. Again, I like this experimental supply system. It is nice to see a change I think is significant and an improvement to play. I hope you can find improvements that improve the fun of the game. Recent changes have made it mostly drudgery, hoping you make it fun again. I have played the last few weeks mostly because I don't want to give up what I've gained in the game.

System won't load. Nothing will load. I cannot play.

What you talkin' 'bout, Willis? https://m.popkey.co/5e278e/kdKdw.gif Your statement makes no sense. Tanki is pushing hard for us to use their downloadable client. I was. Now it is too broke. It can't help hackers, or they wouldn't use it. Your statement makes no sense. -
Okay, OKDad70, on 06 Feb 2017 - 19:30, said: Yes, it's to ask me topics, not to argue and troll. I will do my best not to argue, but the glitches are up again, not being able to refresh the client has me using the browser. It sure seems everything is going into optimizing the client and letting the browser implementation languish. The changes in the game over the last few months have been very frustrating for me. Nothing is the same as it was. Nothing is as fun. I'm getting used to it, I'm establishing new skills to compensate for what the changes took from me, but it can be so frustrating, especially against obvious buyers. The glitches are kicking my butt right now. Not having the client refreshable when it freezes makes it unusable. Browser works fine, but such long loads for everything, getting into battle, dropping to garage, take unreasonable amounts of time. So, thanks for listening. It helps a smidgen to gripe when things get so frustrating.

The client is glitching too often again. It stalls/locks, and it will not refresh. It has been quite a while since the problem of no-refresh was pointed out. Why has it failed? Why is the client glitching often now? Why do I have to exit, lose crystals and progress, then reload and reenter battle. Do I need to abandon the client again and go back to browsers? Seriously, why isn't it fixed already? -
How long is it going to take to fix the refresh on the client? Do I need to go back to the browsers? Glitches are costing me crystals.

What is topic? I thought this was for asking you questions?

Thanks. That was effective, but if it helped play in the client, I cannot tell. There was no noticeable improvement. Nothing loaded faster, and play still had the occasional stuttering/choppy graphics. That seemed to be only while turning turret at full speed, though. Sadly, clearing like that also cleared all my in-game settings. I lost language, account names, all settings reverted to default. Not fun, at least warn of that next time you give the instruction. Also warn that it probably won't help. I double checked, and the refresh will not work. "F5" does nothing, and, of course, without a browser bar, one cannot cut and paste the link to have it reload manually. I noticed when it locked up for mouse controls (and wouldn't let me use the mouse to reach settings), I exited with Ctrl-W, and when I reloaded the client, it did reload me to the game. It wasn't doing that in recent tries. Exiting was dropping me from the battle. So, some better. I don't know if that would be due to recent bug fixes or due to the cache deletion. Regardless, I don't think I'll be trying to delete the cache in the future. Hassles for no gain. -

Sounds useful, thanks, but how does one clear the client cache? Client is giving me the low-frame-rate glitch. Low frame rate happened only twice, and exiting and restarting client fixed it. I expect more. Fix the bugs. Banish the glitches.Fix the refresh again. -

I still can't get client to refresh under any circumstance. It seldom glitches, so I continue to use it, since it does have advantages over the browser based. My question, does it automatically update itself? (I assume it does, but thought it best to ask directly.) -
Regarding client, it updates itself automatically, yes? I don't need to delete it and start over, do I?
-
The client will no longer refresh.

I posted regarding why I think the game has become pay to play (at least pay to win). Here is more evidence for those who care to consider. I have repeatedly requested the cool down times increase as battles grow lopsided and as consistent druggers continuously use their supplies. I have written detailed messages with several suggestions in that regard. Lopsided battles are no fun. We all know that, and nothing can be done in the grand scheme, but lopsided battles where the other team continues to drug despite being obviously dominant, well, that is discouraging. Makes one want to do something about it, hopefully more productive than throwing the computer across the room. Cool down timers need to extend for the winning team, and shorten for the losing team. I have fought an M4 titan-striker who seemed to always have full drugs, and he consistently used health packs. He was able to single-handedly siege our base, 5 or 6 to 1. We were losing 8 flags to 0, and his team had two or three more tanks than ours, yet he kept drugging as fast as he could. Okay for him, but I hope he knows it makes him a bully, but no fun for our team. Total crap. The Tanki motto is now, "Use or lose!" Devs like letting buyers use all the supplies they can, because then they buy more. If Tanki wants to actually address overall fairness of play, they will implement changes to the cool downs such that winnings teams see longer times between activations, and constant supplies-users likewise see increase. Both effects cumulative. (And losing team's reduction in delays would counteract their increasing use of supplies to try to change the battle back to balanced.

Multipoints: Perhaps someone is still reading. Despite the nerf of the smoky, it is still one of the most effective turrets in most battles I fight. The nerf matters, but it is not a big deal regarding effectiveness. The last several changes to the smoky have mostly made it less fun to use. Pay to play: My Ricosck account is LtGen (3 gold stars). I just fought a full M4 Jackhammer in a LtGen battle. This player has obviously recently spent at least $300 cold hard US cash to be using that rig at that rank. It was probably more. $300 assumes he took advantage of the recent sale and a double-crystal card. My fully MUd Boar kit with 47% Atom module could hang, but dang! That Jackhammer kid had almost 60 kills in that DM, while me and the other effective tanker had about 25. This is why so many are saying Tanki has become pay to win, or even fully pay to play. The other eight or so tankers in that battle were just hammer fodder. I've said rico changes don't matter much. I still can't tell there were changes. Ricosck has been using the exact same equipment and MUs for months. I cannot tell a difference between now and before. Mostly, it is a powerful turret. The last changes improved that, at least on paper. Overall, I cannot see how the changes were justified. I can guess no reasoning that indicated it needed to be buffed. I'll reiterate one more time: Smoky used to be fun. It was hard, but rewarded skill. Now it is just hard with just enough punch to keep it effective. Smoky needs higher fire rate, lower damage per shot, more impact and recoil, and most of all, much more acceleration on the turret turning. The big leveling killed smoky and twins on the turning acceleration. Still sucks! It was a very bad move and still bugs the hell out of me. It stinks worse than isidas, and isidas stink worse than a dumpster full of rotting skunks.
