Sorry for the delay, had some other computer problems that occupied my time. Somehow or another it seems fixed. Not sure if it was closing my browser immediately after entering the password, clearing objects again, disabling noscript, or manually toggling the about:config setting on and then back off but it seems to work on my desktop. Will do the same procedure on my laptop when it is running again.

Just an update- I can't speak for anyone else but this issue is completely resolved for me. Ping has been back to normal if not better. Thanks.

I'm not sure how I feel about speed ups. On one hand it seems like a cheap way to coerce people into buying more equipment so they have something to play during the upgrade. On the other hand it milks the buyers for all they are worth for something that won't ultimately give an advantage.
-
So for 99.7% of people it is a very slow incremental process with diminishing returns, just like it was designed to be. That seems alright with me. Meanwhile the feature is wasted due to price for m0-m2 because everyone skips it.

Another problem behavior that pops up: Players that grab the flag and refuse to cap. Usually towards the end of a long match (yeah I know, but sometimes long matches are the only thing up) and most of the losing team has left. The flag only needs to be capped a few more times and somebody grabs it and runs around with it. Probably to get players on their team to get bored and leave for a larger share of the battlefund.

I agree. At least before m3 they should be cheaper, or at least reduce the rate at which cost scales. Right now the default advice given to most players is to wait until m3 for microupgrades, or only to get the first couple cheap microupgrades that offer the largest improvement. Most players ignore them because it is better to save your money to buy a real upgrade, you will never recover the cost, not only do they get reset but you do not even get a discount without completely maxing out a stat. So you end up throwing money away on a temporary 0.01% boost to a single stat. So more players end up skipping them entirely and it doesn't fulfill its function as a cash sink between upgrades. If the price of m0-m2 microupgrades scaled more slowly players would be more inclined to purchase them. Once more players had MUed equipment others would perceive themselves at a disadvantage and would be inclined to MU as well. M3 prices should remain where they are since players are forced to microupgrade to be competitive.

Completely sure. Plus it doesn't log me out of anything else. Also I generally only close my browser one every couple weeks or so.

I'll try that and see if it works tomorrow. Waterfox is a native 64 bit varient of firefox. It is a bit faster and more stable for me. Up to the 32nd version.

I've had the exact same problem with unstable ping since the update. Frequent lag spikes.

One every single day the game asks me for my password to log in. I always check the box to remember my password. My browser is not set to delete cookies or flash cookies. Flash storage is set to unlimited. I've tried clearing cache. This problem persists on both my windows 7 desktop using waterfox 32 and my mint laptop using firefox 30 or chromium. Any ideas?

How often do snipers really go for a flag though? Besides this is a huge advantage since any close ranged weapons basically commit to a suicide mission, even if they can cross the open area to kill the sniper they are stuck in the lower level. Seems a bit buggy anyway, since you self destruct on the very edge of the map rather than being able to fall off.

I agree. I like the changes.

Isn't suggesting that tanki go back to previous features against the rules for this forum?
-
I am surprised how often just warning people that what they are doing is wrong works.
-
I hope they don't introduce your suggested kit. Railgun is already over represented and this would only incentive further purchase. It would be better to make the game more balanced to take full advantage of the variety of weapons and hulls by keeping more diverse kits. Also it would be better financially for tanki to make people pay full price for the most popular combination.

In order to minimize the number of violations and improve the game experience for players.
-
No, it is actually pretty difficult to prove a violation that way. Better to capture a video of gameplay and submit it in the game violator section.
-
I think it is just lag. The opponent lags and it creates a slight desync with the server. You see a shot that misses you while on their end the shot is dead on. The server corrects for their lag and registers the damage. Similarly when clipping the front the timing can be off and they've already shot you before you see the telltale glow.

This happens sometimes with any game I play or book I read just before bed.
-
A lot of people I show this game to disregard it right away as pay to win the first time they encounter druggers. I hope the new changes go far enough.

How about a long range energy gun, a similar appearance to isida but thinner and with a dark color. Range roughly equivalent to smoky. You can not move while firing, but you can rotate the turret. The beam will increase in damage the longer it is attached to an enemy. At the same time it will reduce enemy damage or fire rate. Also a mortar would be cool but I don't know how it could be done without being gamebreaking.

I really like this definition section. Useful to link to just so everyone is on the same page. Think we could come up with definitive videos giving an example of each, then link a couple after the definition? As for how to stop raiding with mults I have no idea, even the proposed kick systems wouldn't work when they comprise half the team. Best we can hope for is to make it harder for the more casual violators so the mods actually have time and resources to deal with that level of organization. One thing that bugs me is when people will wait to cap a flag and finish a game so more people can join the opposing team to increase the battlefund or trigger a gold box drop. Normal people won't come in to join the losing side of a one sided fight, all it does is leave the map open to raiders looking for an easy way to loot a high battle fund. This happens frequently considering that most fights are one sided and the game provides little to no incentive to stick with a losing team. Everyone would be better off to get it over with quickly and move to a more active map. Not that I have anything against raiding tactics provided they stick within the rules of the game, just irks me being vulnerable to losing a battlefund due to people on my team not recognizing the threat.

I tend to prefer a ricochet resistant paint since they tend to kill me the most, but I've been using prodigi since it came with the kit. My question to you guys is does a thunder resistant paint also reduce self-damage?

Just ignore it. Nothing good can come from arguing with a troll. Just distracts from the topic anyway.
