I think to test properly people should be randomly assigned only M0/M1/M2/M3. Everyone testing M3 makes no sense because most people aren't at that level yet in real life.

Prior to the first or second week of November it was lots of fun to play Tanki. Both my son and I enjoyed it. Now I play less than I ever have and he has quit playing - now with the narrowed ranks on the rounds it is impossible for us to join in a battle together (he is almost WO1 now). Even when he makes WO1 he still can't join as my rank now only allows WO2 as the lowest rank I can compete against. It is impossible now for him to earn crystals because of the removal of even the 10 crystal drops. Now not only is Tanki releasing stupid updates but now preventing a family from playing together. The overall negative feeling I have now makes it highly unlikely I'll ever get out the credit card for this.

Never "fix" what isn't broken.

A major improvement would be each server having only one game type. This long list of battles in which I can't exclude types that I don't want to play is difficult to look at.

Good point! By changing the battle ranks that can compete you are effectively ruining people's list of friends who can compete together.

As these updates get worse and worse I tend to play less now. And the less I play the less likely I am to spend actual real money on the game. Nothing ruins a business more than trying to make too many changes to attract new players when at the same time those changes alienate the core people who actually pay the most for your product.

It's been a substantial decline since Halloween for some reason. Each "update" ruins it more and more.

I seem to recall that the vast majority of people disliked this. Why was it still implemented?

Custom names were fun because you could always find certain groups of players that way.

The lack of wobble should be something earned by upgrading. At top levels the shaft should not wobble, but, at lower ranks should wobble more as a reflection of experience.

I get into that same argument with druggers - rarely do the payouts equal what they spend on drugs in the first place. Simple economics says that you don't spend more on a battle than you can win. I see people all the time lit up like Christmas trees and hitting the repair kid just to capture a single flag. Prior to this the 10 crystal drops in a round could make it a break even with using some supplies from time to time if one had the flag and needed to defend it.

I think the Hammer's effectiveness should be weakened a bit BUT be given the ability to destroy mines in exchange. I noticed that Hammer can leave impact marks on the ground - why not allow the Hammer to have a chance of destroying mines since it is the only turret with a spray pattern to it?

The problem with testing is everyone automatically goes for M3 everything and drugs.

What is should be is a drug free setting for free battles and drugs for PRO battles. I think they have it backwards.

If there were crystal drops I would have joined this battle: Without drops there is nobody on one team so all the others sit around twiddling their thumbs.

The fact that I am forced to buy M1 to get M2 and M2 to get M3 is a good enough reason why we should be able to sell things. Supplies? No. Either let me sell things or let me buy a rank-compatible hull or turret without making me buy all the lower tiers first.
