Guide [Issue 81] The Mid Ranker's Handbook: Essentials
Hex replied to Hex in [Issue 81] The Mid Ranker's Handbook: Essentials Newspaper Archive
It's almost been two years since another installment of "The Mid Ranker's Handbook" has been published - the last one, which talked about the changes the global balance did two years ago, being written in Issue 58. Needless to say, a lot of things have either been changed to altered in the game. It's so different, following the tactics used back then will get you nowhere even close to the top of the leaderboard. So, in this edition of the Handbook, we'll be talking all about essential tips and tactics you can use to excel in battles and pass all others in the field easily. Let's get it going! ________________________________________________________________________________________ The Video: In the video, we have visualized ten of the most important points of the whole article for ease of understanding - here they are: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=viYfEyuJC0k&feature=youtu.be Credits:- Video - @MSI, @Jade Commentary - Visuals - @Stratosphere, @Modesty, @Mzay, @thunderousrailgunner, @SkIlL-PaVlIToS, @Past. Thank you all! ________________________________________________________________________________________ Note: To make the article easier to read and go through, I've split it into a total of five different sections, each one containing a set of essential tips that correlate with each other. This way, you'll not only have quick access to a certain type of tip, but also understand it way better. Do note that these tips are generally meant for the middle ranks, they might seem too hard below and too easy above such ranks. The tips have basically been compiled by observing and playing with middle ranked tankers, both free and paying users. Now then, let's start off the article. I hope you enjoy reading it and find the information handy and useful! ➢ Section I - Game Mechanics ➢ Section II - Game Components ➢ Section III - Primaries ➢ Section IV - Secondaries ➢ Section V - Tips From The Pros! ➢ Bonus Section VI - Contest- 20 replies

Contest [Issue 78] What Map? - Edition XXI
Hex replied to Hex in [Issue 78] What Map? - Edition XXI Newspaper Archive
Welcome back to the 'What Map?' contest! Do you think you know all the maps in the game? If so, try and guess the names of these maps by looking at their screenshots in the fastest time possible! __________________________________________________________________________________________ Rules: As always, here are the rules for this contest: Send all your entries in the Google Form, here. Entries posted in this thread or anywhere else, for example, in the private messaging system will not count! Public discussion of answers is not allowed, doing so will disqualify you from the contest. Only submit your entry as soon as you have all of the answers, do not post it before. With that being said, the final thing to remember is that you should only write what's necessary in the Google Form. In this case, you should only mention the name of the map, if possible, starting with a capital letter, for example, Barda, Bridges et cetera; and refrain from things like 'This map is Bridges', 'Map Barda' and so on. You can participate in this contest with one account only. Violators will be punished! Prizes: Fastest 5: First: 35 000 Second: 27 500 Third: 20 500 Fourth: 15 000 Fifth: 10 500 Random 5: 10 500 Images: Here are your three images, in the spoiler: Deadline: August 15th, 2018 STATUS: OPEN __________________________________________________________________________________________ Get going! -
Solving in groups and sharing answers privately is fine, only public discussion of the answers is not allowed.

This will be one of the rarest paints of all time, as you literally need to purchase a notebook to get it.
-
If the Zeus paint ever gets animated, like lightning occurring on the dark blue background, I'll probably buy that. Same goes for Electra, just lightning appearing and disappearing like how it does naturally. Other paints may look good, like Nano's design with white outlines moving accross it, Disco or Hallucination moving and beating, Pixel's design pixelating in and out, Atom's particles moving around and etc. So much potential, but yeah, Maf's right, these paints require a lot of work to make.

If you claim your missions in mobile version, then in PC the missions button appears glitched like this forever until you complete the next mission the day after.
-
Yes, I noticed the event a day late, but you can purchase the last two steps for a small amount of money. The last paint is worth it to be honest, it looks good.

In the mobile version of the game, there's a new systematic event where you get points for completing Daily Missions. The more points you have, the bigger the prize you get. It's called "Parade of the Beginners". In this event, which is - at the time of writing - ending in around 6d 20h, you have to complete Daily Misisons and claim them. Each claim gives you one point, and the total you have to reach is twenty points. There are different prizes depending on how many points you got in the event. Here they are: On three points*, you get x1000 crystals. On six points*, you get the special paint, Breeze. On nine points, x18 of all supplies**. On fourteen points*, x2000 crystals. On completing the bar, that is twenty points*, you get the special animated paint, Valour. * one point is one completed Daily Mission. ** except Gold Boxes and Batteries. What do you think of such an event guys? Do you like the system in which it works? What is your opinion on the fact that you can also pay some money and skip up to three points and get the rewards early? Discuss below! Don't forget to give a mobile version a go and get those delicious rewards - there's still time!

Next month's publication, August 3.

Added. We will run an IP check before results to dish out alternate accounts (only if both the main and alternate account are winning/getting some sort of prize). Violators will be punished!

This reminded me of the City of Light in the TV series, The 100

Oops, the Canyon-Courage mistake is just a typo, the actual results are fine. Fixed, thanks!

Due to the new module system, all product kits' prices were changed.

1. Person carrying the ball loses the ability to shoot, but can still use supplies, drop mines and etc. In return, he/she gains faster movement speed and more health. 2. You can try to "pass" the ball straight into the capture point and capture it that way. 3. Capturing the ball through the aforementioned way earns you half the points then it would if you'd actually drive through the point with the ball yourself. Also, since the pace of the game is already fast... 4. Make the passing speed of the ball a bit faster, it's too slow.
