So... the developers are so clueless they told you to do this? Or is it so you can see what we're complaining about? This is comparable to Nintendo's recently released Mario Maker. "We're fresh out of ideas, here, do it for us.".
-
Maybe it's always been one. I know, shocking, a company has to make money. But it's true.
-
I'm just saying, there you have the tier limitations and the premium vehicles are usually not above or below the usual strength of their non-premium brethren. In other words "It's balanced there, somewhat.".
-
Honestly, in defense of the players, why not make it like in War Thunder? Where it gets you a special tank or currency that may or may not be stronger?
-
The forum since the announcement of the premium accounts. There are people who actually think they'll listen and not put them in.

What will be your most likely final full upgrade?

Whichever in my large varied arsenal comes last. :P -
I personally don't think his way, but I don't support them either. I can sympathize with both sides.
-
At least with these the buyers will leave as fast as they join...
-
My point is: the premium players will leave faster than they join. And that the game is never "free" it's a sample, like at the grocery store.

Ideas that will never happen in Tanki

Whoops, duplicate. Umm... A tank themed after Sophia 1 from Blaster Master? -

A paint themed after Galaga that would act as Invader's polar opposite, halving the damage of twins. -
Well, some things can't be described nicely. Also, I think over a few thousand dislikes says something at least.
-
Since thy were kind enough to say they'll let us try it for free, can I buy the XT items at my rank? (WO3)
-
With hornet druggers, fire just as they're about to use Repair Kit, they'll rage SO HARD.
-
Look, if you invest your soul and body to something, why wouldn't you care? They care about us because they put something in the premium features: extra XP gain. They know we're tired of buyers dominating, so they got em' out of our hair before it's a problem.
-
It's fine, if neutrality is your goal, why not try what the developers think of their game? Or maybe a guide to paints.
-
Please do something on why the the Premium accounts will benefit us. I'm tired of seeing that ----ed word every time I go on the forum..

Okay okay, I KIND of lied in the title, this IS a rant. But for the developers who invested their all in this game for you hissy-fitting freeloaders. (Being a hypocrite is fun!) What is the goal of a company? To make money! How does the F2P game do so? By letting you ACCESS it for free, not enjoy it to it's fullest. The point of the premium accounts IS a cash-grab, yes, I agree there, but F2P as a GENRE is one of the best things to happen. If we never had this happen, the game wouldn't be as well-know as it is. The main reason for me saying this, is because the developers WANT their game to be fun for the whole family! But if you keep ruining their publicity, how can they? If, for say, I went to a toy store, and bought a shiny red ball. And it popped, and I go into the store and say "WELL THIS PIECE OF(CENSORED) BROKE BEFORE I EVEN GOT HOME I'M MAD AND SPREADING THE WORD!" What do you think would happen? They would possibly call the police on you for making a scene, but my point is their public image would go down. Case in point; the mods. The mods probably hate the update as much as us, but their JOB is to help the developers by monitoring the forums, not delete bad posts. They do this to help the game, not to hunt down the players. When that video was made, you ALL know the one, the community became one big crowd of protest, hatred, and anger. All because of some rumors, or toy-store-ranters, that have no solid backing. I was with that crowd, but having not watched that video, I had no clue. Now that I've thought this through, these premium accounts are the SOLUTION to our problems. One, they'll get the buyers out of our hair, and while they're facing against the ACTUALLY SKILLED GM's, we'll be gaining that skill the natural way. Two, they'll give the buyers something for their money. Drugs are not really something you can flash around like a new phone, are they? And finally, they'll give us non-buyers a fun game. So for the love of Christ, stop complaining!

It's on Netflix, eight bucks a month.

What makes you Mad in Tanki? Things you hate/like in the game?

When you join a DM and the first thing you see is "Do you like hacks?". My response: "No." (player The-Operator219 has left) -
In the industry the buyers are referred to as "whales" and we non-buyers are their prey. Y'see, their goal is to get new players as the old ones come out, so those prices for the premium accounts WILL go up in the future, as ads cost money to attract new players. It's the ciiiiiircle of liiiife!
-
One, I never watched the video, hold your fire. Two, I go by word of mouth and common sense. And three, why do you care? If it were about...oh, the scorecaps, or removal of the crystal boxes, you would simply ignore it.
-
And it will.
-
Tanki could take notes from all of those games.
-
On the topic of "The mods are simply following orders."... So were the Nazis. But the difference there was they had no choice, it's not like the devs will kill insubordinate mods.
