    TANKOINS - New Currency!

There are currently no announced plans and I personally doubt it would ever happen. They are going to the effort of releasing brand new weekly containers just to add Tankions so why would they add them to even more common containers.

    Help me choose an image

For me it's 101% the first one, post processed blur is a bit of a mess in most software since it looks too fake for a few reasons, primarily; Blur from a real lens progressively becomes heavier the further away parts of the background are, whereas processed blur is uniform across the whole background. Secondly, whatever blur algorithm used here (I'm guessing its Gaussian which was developed for noise removal and detail reduction) isn't doing a good job of mimicking lens blur at all, its taking the masked off colours of the flower and blurring the edges to the point where there is significant haloing around the edges, again not a characteristic of a real lense. Haloing around the edges of the flower: This part of the image has the same amount of blur as all other parts, when there is clearly a massive difference in depth across the whole image: You might wonder why I'm comparing this to a real lense instead of just looking at what is more pleasing, reason being, personal taste and experience. To the average everyday instagram user the second image would be more pleasing to their eye the same goes for objectively over saturated and over edited images, they tend to get more likes. To any experienced photographer the first image will always be the best since the massive flaws I mentioned above in the second and third images immediately stand out and are nothing short of an eyesore. (this is my boat) Now it's up to you to cater your image to whatever audience you want to attract. The whole point of background blurring is to guide the viewer's eye to the true subject of an image, here you are just distracting them to focus on the blur rather than the flower, if you want your subject to naturally stand out you have a few options being; Composition, there is always a better background when you're actually taking the photo, by changing angles slightly you can have massively different background which are naturally less 'busy' then what you may get first time. if you have a zoom lense, play around with that to get an effect called perspective compression on your background. Post processing, using the spot healing brush to remove the unnatural background elements, this has limited scope in most cases. (clothing etc) There are of course many more but this is getting too long.

    TANKOINS - New Currency!

Tankions are avaliable on all platforms however a primary reason they were introduced was to enable shop sales on the mobile version. Desktop players will benefit mainly through being able to purchase shop items with Tankions obtained from missions etc.

    Bad Updates > No Updates

I think this should worky worky
  5. Just tried it, mine caps at 94fps which is close enough to 95hz, wonder why they've built in a limiter. Pity the optimisation on HTML5 is so bad, they've done a great job for mobile.
  6. On which client are you getting 75? I've got a 95hz monitor and always thought that it was a Flash limitation, or are you talking about html5 60+fps?

    Demolition WAR

"The "Destroyer" paint is temporary. It has been released exclusively for this War. However, if you complete all 5 missions in the "Demolition WAR", this paint will be converted into the "Destroyer 2.0" animated paint and will remain in your garage forever." It will look like this if you complete all 5 missions: If you do not complete the missions the paint will disappear from your garage.

    Bad Updates > No Updates

Any game that doesn't receive updates will stagnate and become boring, humans have a want for something new all the time, if you think the game was more fun in 201x then its almost certainly because it was new to you. Other newbie players are experiencing the same excitement as you did back then, although obviously far less in quantity since the game isnt as groundbreaking or fresh as it was years ago, amongst other reasons. Tanki most certainly would not even exist currently had the developers decided to keep it as it was originally.
  10. Title edited by request. Do you feel emotional when you remember good old days on Tanki? > Do you feel emotional/nostalgic when you remember good old days on Tanki?
  11. There isn't an API as such but there was a method of viewing each player profile data in plaintext form, very useful for nickname validation etc. I forget exactly how but it involved changing the URL, I'll try to find the method if it sounds useful.
  12. Try clearing your cache. If you are using a browser: How to clear your browser’s cache? If you are using the official client: How to clear cache of Tanki Online client
  13. The HTML5 version isn't fully optimised yet. If you're having issue it is recommended that you play using the Client or Standalone Flash.
  14. The aim assist is surprisingly good. I think it could be used to pull off some pretty fine shots on mobile.
  15. THE QUICK BROWN FOX JUMPS OVER THE LAZY DOG ahh you've finally done it ninja, only took 3 years. feelsgoodman.

    TANKOINS - New Currency!

Yup, it will be available on all platforms. One of the main goals of this was to enable mobile shop sales while complying with Google's policy which is why the mobile version is mentioned so often.
  17. Sounds like you've activated a brilliant and useful feature to adjust your viewport size in order to increase FPS performance. Press the +/- keys on your keyboard to adjust it. In case that doesn't solve it please post a screenshot.
  18. Perhaps the enemies have the Blaster drone which deals splash damage to nearby attackers when their tank dies. Does it happen to every enemy you shoot? Does the splash damage come on slowly or does it come suddenly wjen you kill the enemy?
  19. If you meant health bar its probably Hornet's Overdrive - Scout Radar.

    The Optimal Team Size

Its called DM? Or do you mean something else...
  21. Sounds like you have something called keyboard ghosting. It usually happens on cheaper keyboards when you press multiple buttons and your keyboard cannot process the keys all at once. To test this hold down both shift keys and type 'The quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog', see how many letters your keyboard misses out. Different keyboards have different keys which ghost for example mine does this: TE WUIC RWN JUS VER TE LAY DG. Yours will probably be different. Sadly the best solution is to buy a better keyboard, search for one with 'anti ghosting' features. You could also try remapping the control keys in Tanki settings to some keys which dont ghost as badly, this is trial and error and you'll need to try lots of combinations to find one that works ok.
  22. For me spending the extra crystals is worth it compared to the waiting times. Most commonly to buy a hull/turret and M4 it within the same sale.
