Indeed recent VLogs have tended to review information already announced and even released, without addressing player feedback. This significantly reduces the player value of the VLog, which makes no sense given the resources Alterniva expends creating it. IMO they need to get back to hinting at and/or sneak previewing upcoming changes, improvements, and other releases in the VLog.

Buy an M2 kit and MU it to M3 strength without ranking? I’ve done this on three alts, without buying with real money. It takes a lot of patience. Like 6 months of real time waiting for the MU sales in order to afford the 10 steps. I don’t think this is as common as you depict. On the other hand, the reward is as you describe. At First Lieutenant (and one at Captain), M3 power just decimates M1 tanks. And it doesn’t last. As soon as you reach Major and Colonel, most players are using M2+ tanks and your advantage is over.

Really, where are the patch notes???

When will patch notes be posted?

Or just divide the reward requirements by 10

Have to say, I’m a bit disappointed by the Nuclear Supply Drop. I feel like there is too much revolving around supplies. Overdrives, then drones, now Nuclear, which does nothing more then give you faster access to... wait for it... Overdrive, which in turn just activates the same five supplies we’ve had in the game for years. There are tons of ideas floating around for truly new supplies. Another handle for the existing supplies feels decidedly meh. .

Can’t wait to read the patch notes.

Will hulls be able to survive all these turret buffs?
-
I’m sure this has been pointed out, but during the war, 10 Containers could be claimed by obtaining 30 stars. I was hoping for something comparable. .

Most players will have to play 700 one-star battles to get the paint. Even spread out that’s about a hundred battles a day. Too much.

The Deserter concept from TX sounds like a great way to chase players away from the game. Instead, MM was supposed to make fewer battes unbalanced so that players leave less. In reality, MM just puts the average Joe on the winning team as often as not. The player skill mix still ends up with one team dominating. Very few battles are won by slim margin. The 10 minute battle change and most importantly fund distrubution change went a LONG way to keeping players from leaving. IMO these changes were more impactful to player retention in battles than MM itself. But of course, spawn slaughters are still out there. Fund balancing won’t help when you can’t even earn battle score. .

It’s a valid statement. Since the game took away our choice of what map we join, expressing our choice to leave a battle on a map we dislike is natural. For example, I am sensitive to Assault Mode. If I am playing for Blue team on a map with too many approaches to the point, I will leave. If I am playing for Red team on a map with too much open area (i.e, killing field), I will leave. There is always the problem of getting dumped into a battle with five minutes or less remaining and half of the enemy team swarming your base with full drugs and overdrives at the ready. There is no reason to stay in those battles either.

New firebird does really show what afterburn is capable of!

Is Compact Tanks alteration worth it now? -
If you had all the power in tanki, what would you do with it?

You would become Ostrica  -

Isida really is no longer a noob turret. It’s been nerfed in just about every way possible (reduced healing, removed vampirism, reduced scoring, ineffective against burning/freezing, reduced cone angle). Now Freeze and Firebird both get significant buffs. I’m amazed anyone plays Isida anymore. But it does still manifest in support roles - Isida Trains and keeping that fatty Mammoth Vulcan from self immolating. And Firebird may not take skill to use, but there are some skills which make Firebird even more demonic. For example, don’t waste fuel killing your enemy. Burn about half your energy, then leave and let afterburn finish him off. The rest of your reserve is ready for the next enemy. I’m sure there’s more, but like I said, I’ve only been using for a few days. -

I’m a Firebird noob, but I just switched to using it on my main (this account). I can pretty consistently get first or second place and 500+ crystals out of 10min MM battles (the ones that aren’t one sided slaughters of my team). With premium, I’m pulling in 1000-1200 crystals per battle. The new afterburn is killing tanks after I am long gone, and in team battles, I’m getting score credit for a ton of enemy damage. Just like they did with Freeze, I expect the designers to dial back the potency of this new Firebird a bit. Hey nothing lasts forever. -
Of you mean MU sale, then OK. But I’m not sure the drones themselves will go on sale ever. They are not that expensive to buy at full price. In fact at full price hey are less than all but the highest MU steps.
-
Bought both Trooper AND Assault, thanks to quadruple-digit battle funds reaped from the new beast, Firebird. Just starting to MU both drones. Will post some comparative results soon.
-
I’m seeing a lot of Trooper use - the one which spawns you with all supplies. Most people don’t show that drone, because I see people without visible drones spawn with full supplies frequently. My play style has me leaning toward Assault Drone. Will probably buy both and see which one really suits me before investing in MUs. .
-
Sounds like you need to play less. Do your missions and mission chains, open your containers. Play for an hour or two tops per day and your supplies should last and even accumulate. I know what I am talking about. I have two First Lieutenant and one Captain accounts with nearly a thousand of each supply, and fully MU’d M2 (that is M2.10 = M3.0) turret and hulls. Didn’t spend a dime of real money.
-
There are other supply options. And/or options for drones... Bomb is the obvious one. There is also Reload boost - makes every turret either shoot faster or have more ammo, for a little while, cool down etc Invisibility/cloak - why not? - again for a very short time and a long cool down, otherwise game breaking Reflector - like armor, but returns a percentage of fire back at the damage dealer Penetrator - change your weapon type so that enemy protection modules don’t work, again for a little while with cool down, blah blah blah
-
Day one - teething troubles. Lots of inappropriate user names, rude posts, and out of control censor bots Don’t get me wrong. It’s got potential. But I spent a few hours there today and am just never gonna get them back.
-
Doubt it. We would have seen it in the patch notes. It’s a forward deployment for a future release, IMO.
-
“containers aren't a reliable source of supplies” Yes they are. Every set of 5 I have ever opened includes at least one all-supply reward.
-
Getting batteries from mission chain rewards and now from missions themselves will soon completely devalue the battery supply the same way every other supply is worthless (crystal cost, not effectiveness) now. The only reason I can think of for Tanki to do this is to sell more Drones and in doing so milk players out of crystals for Drone micro-upgraded and real money for the crystals required to purchase those MUs. .
