Very bad for Alterniva if they are unable to process payments on Black Friday. Very, very bad.

Main post needs an update. Not sure if the original poster is still active. Ricochet. - Berserk Alteration - can you still kill tanks with the doubled energy consumption? The full reload aspect seems appealing, but I’m wondering if the alteration is effective in battles. Any Berserk users care to weigh in? It’s also expensive, so I’ll wait for the New Year sale and hope to pick up this and or other Alterations at a discount. So don’t worry too much about the price tag.

Honestly, I hope they never implement the hull-specific Overdrives. IMO it feels like combining paints and protection modules all over again. A move in the wrong direction for the game.

I’ve noticed, and it seems to be happening more frequently as time goes by. One of the shared Overdrives happened to me and a couple nearby tanks earlier today. Very cool effect - combo of fire and lightning zapping from tank to tank.

Mildly curious as to what the XT pricing will be. Logic says that since they were available previously for $100USD, a Black Friday sale would have them priced between $50 and $75. My gut tells me it will be closer to $75, while my brain says a Black Friday price should be closer to $50. Worst case fear would be that Alterniva considers simply making them available constitutes a Black Friday deal and thus there will be no XT discount. Since they have said nothing about discounting the skins, only that they will be available, bargain hunters may be in for a rude awakening come Friday....

On the other hand, I opened some containers on an alternate account and got some pretty nice paints. Paints I do not have on my main account. Nice, but I sometimes wish I hadn’t collected containers on my alts. Then this update comes, and I haven’t played and alt since...

It would be nice IMO if the weekly container positioning were reversed. I mean that the ‘floater’ mission rewards with the three containers and the weekly container. And the Finish 20 Daily Missions rewards 1 of each. This way players who complete that difficult floater mission get a really good reward, but while the grinders who complete the 20 daily missions get something extra for their trouble, that bonus is merely incremental. This would lessen the casual player’s perception of exclusion I’m sensing from a lot of these responses. Won’t happen, but it would be nice.

By that logic, the Halloween mega-release should have been spread out over several weeks or even several months, with each release adding a couple of new drones, a new mission aspect, and/or a couple of new alterations. I think they should have done this.. The Halloween release was too much at once. Players are still reeling.

On the contrary, IMO this concept of Hull-specific Overdrives might be the straw that breaks the camel’s back, so to speak. I strongly encourage Alterniva to postpone Hull Overdrives until after the New Year.

Cedric is probably following this thread. I am sure players would welcome a surprise in the form of additional garage discounts. Discounting drones for the first time would be good for player morale and relatively harmless to the economy given the inexpensive purchase price of most drones. At the risk of rationalizing, a garage paint discount might have an impact on the economy but would not also make players more powerful, so perhaps less impactful to the game overall. Let’s wait and see. Like I said earlier, I expect to hear something any day now about additional changes next week. *cough* Overdrives

Varies day to day Today I had all three crystal missions. Finish 2 CP battles. Earn 400 score in TDM, and Destroy 100 tanks. Completed these in about 30-40 minutes.

Yes, but we would just hear the same complaints about shot colors being in the Shop which we are hearing now about XTs. That said, I actually agree, shot colors SHOULD be in the Shop.

You’d be well served by reading this thread from the beginning. Ricochet is a lot of fun in low ranks. You will need to learn to lead your enemy a bit, so to speak so that they drive into your projectiles. Later, buy the Minus Field Stabilization alteration and your shots travel faster making this less of an issue. After destroying an enemy, don’t immediately re-engage. Give your energy bar a few seconds to refill. Then go get ‘em. There’s lots more but for a beginner that’s a start.

Black Friday is not a garage sale. It is a shop sale. Tanki was kind to offer us an MU sale in the garage. Regardless, Black Friday is a real money event.

I understand the perceived insult to those who played long and hard to get those legacy skins for free. From Tanki’s perspective, that also makes them more appealing to buyers to spend real money.

Agreed - I’ve been lucky for a few days and was able to do all missions in about 30 minutes. But Today I got a score 1500 points in Assault battle. Took a full hour of crazy MM battles.

Yes. Also - to those complaining about XTs and the rarity of the other skins - while they will be available on Black Friday, there is no guarantee these items will remain in the Shop. Moreover it is likely that they will be available even for real money only one single day. IMO their rarity will be largely preserved.

^easiest weekly mission is the middle one - FinIsh 10 Daily Missions. Can be done in as little is 4 days if you slog through every daily mission, or just by breezing through the easiest 10 daily missions over 7 days.

Thank you. Tanki had previously told us that container value is determined when the container is opened, not when the container is received. I merely made the assumption that this also applies to weekly containers. It does make sense though. Developers don’t want to waste space with a lot of unclaimed container contents. In the current system, they just store the number of unopened containers. This also means you can hoard containers until something cool is introduced. Then you can open a bunch of containers, increasing the likelihood of getting that cool item or at least some rare stuff.

Black Friday has always been a retail holiday. Tanki has always had Shop deals on Black Friday for as long as there has been a Shop. Please stop complaining. There are plenty of garage sales through the year. In fact we ARE getting the first 50% garage MU sale in what feels like a while. A month from now we will likely see epic New Year Holiday sales in the Garage. All of this complaining about Black Friday just sounds whiny. Knock it off

Devoted players can devote time to Star Weeks, formerly Crazy Weekends, and get cool stuff for nothing more than their devotion to the game.

I play quick battles - the constant map and mode change up keeps things interesting. When that gets tiresome and I’m not super interested in crystal returns and not doing missions, I will experiment with seldom used turrets and hulls, just to experience different game play. The other day I tried Striker to see if I could be any good with it (I wasn’t).
