Credic took the Community Manager role to a new level. I have a lot of respect for the work he did, and I am very happy he is coming back.

I’m already reflecting on it. No way am I doing this every day going forward. Sure, I want my third weekly mission (I’ve already claimed the first two), but no way can I grind like this every day every week. The only question left is how much I will play going forward. It won’t be like this. I just can’t sustain it. This is coming from a Buyer. Tanki should hear this - that some of the casual players impacted by the harder missions are also Buyers. .

My bad - thanks for setting me straight on the dates. I haven’t bought any of the new alterations yet. I think I will wait another week or two for this current batch to ‘settle in’ as it were.

Out of curiosity, did you notice this before or after they changed the parameters for the smoky rapid fire alteration?

See latest patch notes for Alterations nerfs! That notwithstanding the ultimate winners may be those alterations like Vulcan with Fire that combine two damage types. The Smoky-Freeze was good too. You will rarely encounter protection modules on your target against both damage types. I really see these mixed-damage-type alterations as OP since they are designed to counter module usage. Take the smoky-Freeze setting. As a counter to this, I would need to equip both types of protections. That leaves me only one slot to counter the Vulcan-Fire and Hammer double tap alterations out there. Good luck. We’re gonna die anyway. Be careful what crystals you pour into modules. You’re not gonna see a return on that investment. Use those crystals for a comfortable alteration. Preferably one they have already tweaked - less likely it will be tweaked again. .

So now we have mission cool-downs. But they appear to be based on server restart. Instead, can daily mission cool down on a 12 hour basis instead of 24 hours? Can weekly missions cool down in such a way that if I can’t claim before day 7, the weekly mission resets the day I do claim it? I won’t want to have to wait yet another week for my next weekly mission.

My module coverage is pretty decent, but I also question their effectiveness. Damage is dealing at such a crazy rate now that module and hull choice doesn’t matter much. I am seeing an expansion of heavy hull usage, even in large maps like Breast, which used to be home to Hornets and Vikings only. As for alterations I’m seeing much less Vulcan and some less Smoky alts today - maybe those bother victims more than they actually help the users. That Hammer double-tap alteration is still everywhere though. IMO it’s full clip reload is much too quick. It’s deadlier than the high capacity drum because it does not allow the victim to use a repair kit between those two shots. And the clip reload is much shorter.

Finish in top 3 15 times is completely not possible when match-maker puts you into battles with only three minutes left. :blink: I completed this after three days and probably around 70 stars, which for me was probably about 30 battles and harder drugging than I’ve ever done. I did not have fun nor did I enjoy those battles. For this I got the weekly container, 3000 crystals, 60 of each supply, some RKs and a few batteries. I will keep grinding to get the full weekly reward from all 21 missions and all three weekly missions, but I gotta tell you I don’t see myself doing this permanently.

The Hammer double shot and smoky rapid fire alts are annoying me the most in battle. I would buy them for myself, but they are certain to get nerfed. Edit - that Rico alt with the rapid fire slow plasma balls just looks silly. I’ve seen it in battle and have no desire whatsoever to buy it. .

This weekly FinIsh in the top 3 Winner team 15 times mission is for the birds. Casual players won’t have the numbers, the skill, or the time for this. I’m grinding away and almost there after two days and a lot of near misses, thanks to the crazy new OP alterations everyone seems to be running around with. If I get this mission again - and it seems like I will - I’m just going to give that weekly a lot a pass. One regular and one weekly container just aren’t worth this. It is not fun.

This will make it harder for players to prove it when TO nerfs the bejezus out of the alterations players buy the most.

Players are gobbling these up at high ranks. I’ve already noticed the Vulcan set-fire and Hammer double-barrel alterations.

Lifeguard and Blaster seem impactful. Lifeguard will change Rugby and Assault since defending teams will now have to do twice as much damage to prevent the attacking tank from scoring. Blaster also seems like a bunker-buster. Drive into the enemy base and wait for the defenders to swarm and destroy you, taking a load of damage in the process. Behind you, your full health team mates finish the slaughter.

Other problem with this is that DD and DA have the longest smart cooldowns between them. Activating SB in between them actually allows you all three drugs in the same time it would take you to get just the DA-DD drugs.

My go to choice for most battles 1 - DA on spawn, then start making my way toward enemies 2 - SB as soon as the cool down let’s me, keep headed toward enemies 3 - DD and start killing On small maps I will switch DD to 1 and DA to 3. But I will always use SB between them because the cool downs work better that way.

Probably - the VLog clearly showed the 2016 map which is vastly superior to the 2017 and 2015 versions. I can only hope this is actually what we get.

That last one for Ricochet - multiplie plasma balls firing at once? Rico becomes a bit more like Hammer? And I’m wondering if the new Fire and Freeze alts will allow them to fire through walls, making them even more effective anti-Magnum turrets .

So many players playing TDM in RGB and ASL. Shafts playing RGB. Maybe on Highland or Polygon where scoping the enemy point from a distance can help get captures, but I mostly see these guys just sitting around not contributing to the battle
