I've never poked through anyone's profile while I was in battle with them. Of course right now I have only Rico and Hammer as M3s. Might add Twins to the mix, but will have to see what happens in May and June sales. On a related note, I have 6 hours of Premium to use on this account. I'll use 3 tomorrow morning, and probably the other three on Saturday. In other words, I'll be a FieldMarshal by the end of this weekend.

IDK, there should be at least one.
-
Sadly this is true. After the slow reload, Ricochet's greatest weakness is the turret's agonizingly slow rotation.

Isida M2 looks like a sheep's head. Osaka kit gets you the whole sheep. SMH

You will not survive to Marshal with that combo. Get Medic.
-
If that is what you want, kit is the way to go.
-
Twins and Titan is the most formidable Poly CP combo I have seen.
-
Rico M1 is a lot of fun.

If you are crystal poor, don't buy M2 kit. Get what you need on sales.

I suspect that in order to be an effective Gismo, you'll have to reach that rank with one well practiced M4 Hull and one or two well practiced M4 Turrets. The key is M4. Expect that EVERY Gismo you encounter will be fighting back with M4 everything, and a stockpile of drugs. If they suspect you can counter them, they will simply switch to another M4 turret, hull, or paint, which you probably can't counter.

I still get those 450 crystal missions at Marshal. I also get 1900, and sometimes 2900 crystal missions. Mostly just 12 supplies though. I do get 3-hour Premium account as a mission reward every two to three weeks. It's a mixed blessing. Great game play, extra XP and crystals. But I do have to find a solid three hours to grind away in Tanki. .

Will buy this M3 if I get enough crystals before May Sale. If not, then June. .
-
Dude, you are right. My mistake. That 15% Rail protection doesn't feel like much when you are getting knifed by M2 and M3 Railguns on drugs, and everyone else is wearing Prodigy and Clay.
-
Yes buy it

I bought Jackhammer, but recommend Raiden. Anyone had a test drive recently? I had a Dictator M3 test drive late last year, but nothing in 2016. .
-
Right. At the risk of straying farther off topic, I see a lot of effective shaft use in crowded maps like Rio and Polygon, where I would not expect them to do well. I think they are actually taking advantage of players focus on the flag or control point.

Congratulations! Just be on the lookout for drug wars. There is nothing more disappointing than emptying Ricochet only to have the enemy pop a repair kit while you sit and wait to reload. .

Thanks. Not sure what my profile says about my paint use, probably that I prefer my well-MUd Loam, but these days I generally wear the Lumberjack I snagged in the Redneck kit. I only go back to Loam when I need the extra Fire protection and can live without the Isida protection. And I am utterly beside myself. I just realized that I forgot about Lumberjack during the April Fool's MU sale. Most of my equipment is already upgraded to the point where the sale didn't make sense, but I let 95% off MUs on Lumberjack slip by because I wasn't thinking about my paints. :( Storm paint. Can be MU'd to 30% Firebird protection for about 30K. That is why you still see this paint in M3 battles. May be the best bargain in the game. .

No I should have elaborated. Polygon CP requires high yield and quick (relatively) reloading. Thunder Fire and Twins are your best bet. Yeah I don't often advocate for Thunder, but it's effective there. I play Poly CP with Ricochet. I do okay and sometimes very well. When I run out of ammo, I can only sit, watch, or die while these other turrets keep scoring kills. But if you can't stand the meat, stay out of the chicken.

Hornet in low to mid ranks, Viking as soon as you can snag Medic kit. SERIOUSLY you do not want to be driving a light hull north of Brigadier.
-
I don't know that anyone short of Gismo would have that many crystals floating around. You would have to buy at highly inflated prices or save to the point of seriously neglecting your equipment and thus compromising your gameplay. Most I ever had was around 500 at Marshal just before I bough Redneck. Now I am poor again but starting to save for the May sale.
-
Test drive is extremely rare. Personal discounts are still around with percentages which for me seem to top out around 37% off. I am expecting 50% off in the May sale. I hope I won't be disappointed. I'll also second or third the recommendation above to buy Medic. Great kit and both Isida and Viking get a lot of return benefit from MU investment.

A while back I posted about skipping the two M2 ranks and going straight from M1 to M3 via the Jackhammer kit. I didn't do it. I don't regret not doing it. But I do think I die just as much with the M3 as I would have with the M1. There is just so much yield with high M2- M3 weapons that hull choice is not that relevant in crowded maps. On a related note, I used to incorrectly believe that the hull had an impact of a weapon's damage. Said another way, a shot from M1 Smoky does more damage when fired from a Mammoth than a Wasp. Not true, of course. The truth is that all yield depends on the attributes of the turret. The only difference the hull makes is how long you last under fire and how fast you can reach your next enemy. Still when I see a Wasp sporting a Shaft some part of me still doesn't find that as threatening as that same Shaft on a Mammoth. After all that Mammoth should be able to put more oomph into that shot right? Wrong, of course. Actually the Wasp is MUCH more of a threat since it can fire and run during Shafts long reload, whereas the Mammoth is a sitting duck. .

Isida. Both from personal experience and looking at the numbers.
