Thank you. I snuck in a quick battle this morning. 2601XP to go.

Daily missions have given me three 3-hour temporary Premium accounts, which I have used to the fullest. I know what you mean about Tanki X. That's part of the reason I am grinding now. I just don't see myself moving to the new game. Thanks to some well populated Kungur death matches, I was able to move to within 2.9k XP of Marshal before the end of Monday. The math now tells me that I have a good chance of making Marshal before the kit ezpires, if I continue to do well in battle today and tomorrow.

On the other hand kits are a huge crystal suck. Only spend if the kit has all three items you REALLY want. Turret Hull AND Paint.

Halfway through Monday and I am 7k short on XP. I am also out of supplies of armor and damage. I don't want to buy more bc I am saving those crys to MU M3 Ricochet once I get the kit. I can still use speed boosts to help maneuverability, and I still have a handful of repair kits which I use if I pick up map supplies and want to extend their use. Will I make Marshal before Redneck kit expires on 2/4 server reset (which is actually 9pm EST the night before for me)? If I stick to the math, the answer is no. I can only play in the evenings now at 1.5k to 2k XP per night. That will bring me a few thousand XP short. But I am going to grind as hard as I can to try anyway. Much will depend on what battles I find between now and then. I might get lucky. If I don't make it, I will most likely hibernate austen_pierce, playing only my daily missions to get supplies and crystals until Redneck comes back. I'll turn my attention back to vampire_medic, my abandoned Isida alt, which should come with Tanki's welcome back bonus. I'll check back in here on Wednesday. Cheers everyone!

I played a Polygon DM battle last night with Marshal and Fieldmarshal Titans with fire rail and twins. Hammer didn't stand a chance. But I've played other battles and done well. I think it is just the luck of which battle you end up in. Update- Hammer is GREAT for kill stealing in Arena DeathMatches. Just wait for the ubiquitous Twins and Firebirds to pummel and roast each other, then finish them both off with your Hammer. If they're close enough you can even double kill.

I did the math. I need to earn about 5k XP per day between now and server restart on 2/4. Right now I am earning 1.5 to 2k XP per day. I'll be able to earn more this weekend when I can play longer, but it's going to be very close. I'll have a better idea on Monday if I am going to make Marshal before the kit expires.

Agreed. I've stalked a few Gissmo battles and there is no time for reload. Gismo battles belong to no reload or super fast reload weapons like twins and smoky. Or anything on drugs. Isida seems to be an exception. long reload but its super high damage yield keeps it in the game

^ I don't mean to trivialize this, but does it matter? By the time you are at a rank where you are getting hit by M2, do you even care if someone fires an M0 at you? *be like "did something just touch me?" ----—----------- I am almost at Marshal and have enough crystals to buy Redneck. That will get me M3 Ricochet two ranks early unlock, and I should have enough crystals to put in a few ridiculously expensive MUs. I'm worried about buyers remorse though. So I need an opinion. Is M3 Rico with a few MUs at Marshal worth the nearly half a million crystals I will need to spend to buy this kit? Or should I wait until Commander, buy Rico at rank preferably on sale? If I don't make Marshal in the next 9 days, this is academic, since Redneck kit will expire.

Cardinal is good but I wish it came with Rock instead of Picasso. Rock comes with good Twins and Isida protection which are essential in Polygon and other small maps where Titan and Twins are effective.

Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaah Redneck kit is back with Rico but I'm not even halfway through General rank up to Marshal. Hellooooooo tanki grind Update- I played a bit last night but only managed to earn about 2.2k XP. I can probably double or triple that over the weekend, but I don't think that's enough to get me to Marshal before this kit expires. I'm also getting kind of bored with the same battles in the same maps day in and day out. They are Rio CTF Serpuhov CTF Noise CTF Kungur CTF or DM Polygon DM Island CTF Sandbox CTF

Fair enough. Which M3 kit is best for short to mid range combat on small to medium sized maps? The largest map I ever play is Kungur.

Good call. Isida M3 is where the crystals are.

This is a bit unfair. At M3, Hammer is a real threat on the battlefield. On drugs, it kills Viking, Hunter, and Dictator in 2 shots. Three shots without drugs... And maybe assuming Your enemies have taken a little damage already. Like I said before Titan and Mammoth are a problem, just find other enemies. Conversely, Wasps and Hornets are your breakfast. This is a pretty darn good turret for Polygon DM and other medium to small maps with lots of cover to hide you during the long reload. I do think M3 should unlock at Brigadier. That's when I got it in Jackhammer. After playing for awhile, I'm pretty sure this turret runs out of steam between General and Marshal. As it is, I'm at General and drugging like crazy to get through battles.

Please Tanki, make Titan Rico M3 kit. Or even a Wasp Rico M3 I'll buy Redneck if I have to, but I already have Viking M3. I don't really need Hunter.

If paints and their protections are going to separate, I'm betting most of the interchangeable cammo paints will simply vanish. Only the visually impressive paints like Spark, Electra, Tiger, etc will remain.

I'm about knee deep in my grind through General. Battles are really hard to find now that the New Years event is over. tanki has started defaulting me to EN1 where there are maybe four battles to choose from. EN2 is still good yet swarming with Gismos. I've started playing RU servers just to find battles I can compete in. And I've seen a fair amount of my fellow forum poster Pizzaslad.

Jackhammer is a lot of fun. Bought it myself, but do have some regrets. Medic would have been better.

I already miss assault mode... Easy crystals for me when playing red team due to "Austen's Run" Must figure out how to adapt this to a conventional map. Tanki X... I expect this will be a pay game, so I doubt I will play. When this game does drop and the flash players leave, I will probably be done playing period.

The next real sale of any significance will be the May sale.
