When you get to M3 ranks, light hulls are toast anyway.
-
Another crazy Vampire_Medic DL
-
I have an alt using Hornet Isida. Just started, so M0. What are my kit options for M1-M3 early unlock bundles?
-
Good advice. I have a MUd Rico M2. Pumping MU crystals into Rico M2 is vital if you want to use it effectively through the long wait to M3.
-
Vampire_Medic 10.0 DL. Low ranks, but still a good game.
-
Got 10.o DL using isida on my Vampire Medic alt

Could the following personal stats be added? # of kills broken out by opposing turret # of kills broken out by opposing hull # of deaths broken out by opposing turret # of deaths broken out by opposing hull These would REALLY tell us something about our strengths and weaknesses

Part core? LOL. I took Vampire_Medic to Brest map last night because it was the only battle available with a decent number of players. I expected a slaughter since this map is usually full of Shafts and Railers. Instead, I had a ton of fun. Vampire_Medic was able to sneak around to the enemy camp and suck the life out of all those Shafts who were camping on the top of their base in sniper mode. When I ran out of Shafts I would scootch around behind the base and drain the Railers who were tucked in back there in hopes of knifing an approaching tank. Since Brest is full of supply drops I had no problem picking up ample speed and damage boosts. Good times.

Ouch

Lose Hunter. Swap out for Ricochet and Viking. Viking has awesome armor and doesn't skid like Hunter. Rico reloads fast and you can use the bounce to hit enemies who can't fire back at you.
-
^agreed, but also be aware that at mid to high ranks, the best paint for you might not be one of these... You may need to trade off a bit on one turret protection to get you good coverage on two particularly annoying ones. Sandstone's Rail-Thunder protection at mid level is a good example.

I want Rico M3 so bad. My account is stagnant now though. I went all the way through Brigadier without recovering the crystals I spent on Jackhammer kit. My goal is to get Redneck kit for the early M3 Rico unlock, but I need a LOT more crys. I did catch a couple of Golds on Halloween but at M3 kit prices, those are but drops in the bucket, and Daily Missions are only getting me a couple hundred per day. Rico M3 is a long way away.

I think I saw this in the Twins thread and I'll give the same answer. Twins. You'll get more kills without drugging, and you do not have to worry about self damage or Thunder's lackluster damage.

After playing Vampire_Medic for two days, Tanki is a VERY different game when using Isida. IMO twice as fun. Healing allies helps build relationships with your team, and gives you something to do when there aren't any enemies around. Offensively, the self healing adds a new dimension to your attach, as you can last longer than other players with equivalent hulls. It's fun to watch your health meter rise and fall and rise and fall again as an enemy tries to kill you while you replenish your health by stealing his. Enemy players DO target you more. Enemy players also RUN AWAY from you often. It's a wash, but it is different. I'm playing very low rank battles, so team battles and other map specific behaviors such as midfielding and supply camping are non-existent. It's also funny to watch new tankers work with tough turrets like Rail and Rico. Every once in a while I do see another alt though. There was this one guy last night using Rail-Wasp M0 and absolutely DOMINATING through sheer skill. Most Railers at Sergeant can't shoot their way out of a paper bag. Flipping is a real problem with Isida since it is a gun with no recoil. You can't turn back over, and you can't even correct mid fall. I lost a first place spot last night because I had to take the SD penalty. Unlike at high levels, enemy tanks just ignored me rather than kill me. Weird.

Good if you get in a kit and thus unlock early, like I did. It doesn't last long though as other hulls and turrets get stronger real quick and start wearing maddening twins paint.

I started an alt named Vampire_Medic last night. By this morning, I have upgraded it to Sergeant and bought Isida M0. I used it for a CTF battle and lost badly, only because the team I was on was total crap. The Isida was pretty effective. I am looking forward to playing more with Vampire_Medic and this turret. As an aside, I felt bad for the new players, I was battling against. My experience on this main at Brigadier let me mop the floor with those new tankers, leading most battles, usually ahead of the second place player by 10-20 kills. But that's over now... Vampire_Medic is a Hornet-Isida tank, and I am not used to either one.

These statistics are pretty meaningless, aside from Gold Boxes caught. The highest rated will usually also be the highest ranked or those who played more hours (even Gold Box is skewed by this) I would like to see ratings meaningful to my skills, like -crystals earned per hour of play against players of my rank -same for experience -percentage of gold boxes which fell in battle and I caught - expressed as BoxesCaught/BoxesDropped*100, also rated against other players of my rank -K/D ratio broken down by battle format, also rated against players of my rank. Thoughts?

Princess, I know that.

Twins is great for hornet hunting. You'll have trouble taking down heavy tanks. You'll need fire protection for close quarters combat.
-
I really like Thunder but it just does not do enough damage for me to love it. Takes three shots to destroy most tanks. If you're too close the enemy gets to hug you, causing you to self damage or give up. If you're not close enough, you don't even get full damage per shot. The idea of this as a "midrange-only" turret just doesn't make sense.
-
I am not really a drugger, but will now become one. The supplies-only missions Tanki is giving me has shot my supply inventory north of 500 each. Might as well use them....

I have a suggestion for the transfer of accounts from TankiOnline to TankiX. 1-do NOT transfer all or any accounts automatically. As others have said there are too many inactive and abandoned accounts out there, most likely several orders of magnitude more inactive users than active ones. This also prevents the "which account is the 'real' one question if the same user exists in both games... What if the flash version rabks up and I want to re-propagate that rank up to TankiX. This way lie madness. 2-Give players the OPTION for a ONE-TIME migration of our Flash account to Unity. This one-time migration will set up as close to an equivalent account as is possible given the inevitable differences in equipment and economy. This migration also REMOVES OR DISABLES the flash account....which makes sense - there can be no going back. Also, this one-time migration must account for nickname collisions, someone might have taken your nick, or you might be able to get the nick you really wanted in TOF. 3-implement an inactive account management policy. Accounts ranked lower than Sergeant which go unused for two months should get wiped... Those players just aren't coming back. Accounts between Sergeant and Warrant Officer 1 should be given a grace period of three months before being wiped. Four months for WO1 to Major. Six months for Major to Commander. One year for Gismos.

Got Personal DIscount Today. Can't afford it though.
-
Not sure if this was possible before, but I have been typing random words into the player search, and am appalled by the 99.9% hit rate. ALL at Private, Recruit, or Geifreteur rank. Some of these would be cool names, but have been taken and obviously abandoned. Tanki should do something about this.

As you can see I'm not playing much these days. http://ratings.tankionline.com/en/user/austen_pierce/
