My rank... late Brigadier. Most of my missions lately have been for supplies. I am boycotting those missions. I will use my daily change to try and get a crystal mission. When that does not work, I do not play Tanki that day. I have two alts. One is late WO5. I don't play the other alt, so I don't know what those missions look like. I have noticed that at the WO5 rank I get more crystal missions, at least one per day and often two per day, sometimes (rarely) all three are crystal missions. Brigadier missions are rarely crystal missions, even using daily change. I can't remember the last time I have more than one crystal mission on this account. I would like Tanki to explain this.

If as your nick suggests you are a rail user you should know that Hammer always beats Rail, assuming the Rail is in range.

Absolutely. You take a tiny sacrifice on speed with Viking but your armor, power, and early M3 unlock more than make up for the insignificant gap in speed. And Viking is vastly easier to handle than Hunter. No skid.

Yep Cardinal is a better kit. For small to medium maps. Smoky... The more I see high rank smokies the more I suspect that the true irony of this game may be that after starting with Smoky and spending lots on other 'cooler' turrets, Smoky M4 may actually be the king at the end of the game.

Rico M2 cannot beat Isida M3 on equivalent hulls. I don't have Rico M3 yet but I'm pretty sure that due to the respective M3 unlock ranks, M3 Rico dominates Isida M3.

Hammer only beats fire on light hulls.

I use Hunter on an alt and I cry because it is not my precious Viking. Once you use and get comfortable with Viking, Hunter is a fat bouncy pig.

I play a lot on Rio and Polygon. Twins in Polygon is good. Twins in Rio is only good if there aren't too many enemy Shafts and/or Rails. Otherwise forget about getting in range much less a kill. I know the same is true in other popular medium maps like Serpuhov and Kungur.

Jackhammer is a great kit for Polygon, assuming you buy like I did as soon as you make Brigadier. But at M4? Not sure... Depends I guess on how quickly you can get your equipment upgraded versus ranking up. Hammer and Viking are early M3s, meaning later M3 equipment is better. I suspect that unless you buy lots of crystals and get to M4 on this kit at Brigadier or Major General, you'll find other M3 equipment gets the best of you. Of the M3 kits I've used or experienced: Jackhammer beats Raiden. Medic beats Jackhammer. ALWAYS Medic beats Raiden. At close range. Jackhammer beats Refrigerator. Jackhammer against Jackhammer is an exercise in frustration due to the high Hammer protection of the Tiger paint. You both exhaust your clip and stare stupidly at each other for a mind-numbing six seconds. Your mileage may vary.

You have gotten your wish. Pay real money, get the Premium Account paint. 15% protection against all weapons. Does anyone know if this paint can be upgraded?

Redneck is a great kit but I wish the hull was anything other than Hunter. I don't like the skid or the bouncy feel of the hull. Too easy to flip, and on nitro the tank feels like it is driving on ice

Not OP. Slow fire rate and extremely limited range. Close quarters weapon only. Play with twins on Berlin Brest Highways or Düsseldorf, and see if you still think it's OP.

I covet M3 Rico. Still several ranks and a load of crystals short though.

I alternate between M3 Hammer and M2 Rico. Rico is more fun to play with but I switch to Hammer when I find I need the M3 damage in battles.

^^Won't happen. Tanki considers the weapon balanced now. Me, I'm waiting for the nerf of Firebird, which is way overdue, having long since outpaced Railgun as the #1 turret, at least in non-pro battles. Thunder has pretty much only one use now. Capture Point Carnage on double damage. Think about the large ramp in Polygon raining damage on the lone point which serves as the map's nexus. Good times, but I am staring to think that Isida might be my next M3 purchase.
