:unsure: I don't think so at all tbh. I'm not a huge fan of kit reviews same as you, but I don't think anyone should play down the time and effort needed to write them. I've tried my hand at some, and they aren't something a lazy person would do lol. Anyways, our goal is to have a wide variety of pieces each issue to satisfy everyone. That's why we have the absolutely useless more humorous pieces by Rabin and myself, along with the practical articles by Hexed and LOLKILLER. :)

And just a word of encouragement. When I was a WO1, I had a D/L of around 0.65. Now it's nearly 1.20 (last I checked at least). With a bit of dedication, anyone can bring it up.^^

errk, I can't remember the exact spots for the grammar changes. There were two commas that I either added or took out. The typo was "out" and I changed it to "our" (that happens to me all the time too tbh... the t is right next to the r and spellcheck doesn't catch it :wacko:). Again though, I've forgotten the place where that happened. In the future, I'll make lists of every edit I make on your submissions :). If I can remember at least lol.

I may be misreading those lines, in which case feel free to change it back to the original, but I feel like given the context, the current phrasing fits best. Approved! Good stuff once again. Of the former members who actually wrote quality stuff that wasn't plagiarised, most have become reporters. That's a pretty remarkable accomplishment considering we were some of the most hated people on the forum at the time lol. I got 174, but I'm really salty about the "finger is to hand as leaf is to:" question -.- That's a terrible comparison smh. A twig is just a small branch pretty much, and leaves grow on both twigs and branches. My other complaint is that there's an English vocab question on it... that doesn't have anything to do with IQ. You could be a genius non-native English speaker and get a bad score .__. other than that, it was pretty fun. lol I'm just mad cause I wanted a better score.

Hey there, Tankers! Every famous writer through the ages has had his or her specific style. I'm sure we can all recall some of the more well-known ones easily. Shakespearean, Dickensian, Hemmingwayian, Tweezerian, etc. When someone says a story was very Dickens-like, we start predicting how the story goes even before we've read it. Probably there's a poor person whose life is drastically changed by an outside influence of some sort and add in lots and lots of description. Idek. The point is, there are many, many styles of writing that are easily distinguished from one another. _______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ In this contest, you're going to be pairing a well-known style with one of Aesop's fables. There really aren't many restrictions aside from that. You can even change the outcome of the fable if you want as long as you keep the characters the same. The point is, make the fable as much like the style you've chosen as possible. Rules: No plagiarism. This includes the ideas of other tankers. Be original pls Word limit of 1000 words. That should be enough for any short story, js. No extremely obscure styles. This is pretty subjective I guess, but you know what I mean. Don't be like, "I'm writing in the style of Joe Green from across the street". Points will be awarded for how well you copy your chosen style. That's not gonna help you if I've never heard of it. I'd suggest you look online for samples of text in the style you chose. Just to refresh your memory. Prizes: 1st place: 40,000 crystals 2nd place: 30,000 crystals 3rd place: 20,000 crystals Consolation prizes of 10k to deserving participants. Entries will be judged on creativity, plot, and how well the style was imitated. Deadline is the 25th of June. Get writing!

There weren't many glaring punctuation edits, but there are loads of places where you could make the readability better by including a few more commas. I didn't do it myself cause I'm too lazy :x I kept the unconventional formatting as you requested. I probably missed loads of edits... welp, in Hippin's defence, this isn't really a normal interview. It's a story formatted as an interview; entirely fictional and meant for the reader's entertainment, so yeah.
