If I had taken more time writing this, I doubt I would've able to come up with any new strategies that haven't been covered in the other few hundred guides to Noise. This was more of a way to let off steam than an article attempt, hence the less-than-professional pics and lame strategies :lol:. Thanks for the tips though, and it's good to be back ^_^.

Noise may be the most adrenaline pumping, keyboard mashing map in Tanki. No other map can capture your attention so thoroughly, rendering you dead to the real world for hours at a time (but in all honesty, who here even cares about being part of the real world anyway, amirite?). Despite the popularity of this map spanning every game mode (including TDM which is saying a lot…), the ineptitude displayed in nearly every game reaches a level of depressing on par with my parkour skills. It’s as if all the nuggies from Tanki decide to converge on one point -- my team in Noise. But rather than get all down about it, I've decided to do the sensible thing: rant about it on the forum CCCC:. CTF Blue base: The first thing you realise when on the blue team in Noise is that Magnums are basically the worst things ever. Much like zucchini, toe fungus, and Donald Trump's hair. But don't get discouraged. Forge onward, and your dedication will be rewarded... with a 0.0000001 KD ratio. For real though, the main thing to keep in mind whether you're attacking or defending, is to prioritise the most dangerous opponents, which will give you access to the midfield. It could be the miner above the ramp, the Railgun sniping any attackers, or... the Magnum. Once you've gained control of the midfield, work on using it to your advantage. Midfield is power. Any assaults on the flag prior to acquiring complete control of the middle level result in failure. pictures are cool ppl B) Now that the bothersome mid level has been taken, you’ve unlocked access to the red base. Resist the urge to immediately rush for the flag; doing so will only cause your hard earned midfield to slip from your grasp. Use your control of traffic and drop zones as a platform for a well-supported assault. The simplest strategy for taking the red flag is pick up supplies, charge, and hope you can make it out alive. Assuming your teammates are supporting you and not hurling insults at each other on the chat, someone should be able to successfully bring the flag back to the base, after throwing themselves off the ledge while simultaneously burning and freezing from the pursuing defenders. However, there are times when the direct approach is impractical. When the defenders know what’s up, they’ll do everything they can to block off the ramp leading into their base. Mine it, stick a fat Mammoth supported by Isidas to cover the entrance, anything to keep attackers out. This calls for more artful measures. Instead of approaching the base from the front, move along the side through the big weird building (what even is that supposed to be…?), and attack from the back, retreating by the usual route. Red Base: Despite the advantages brought by height and those darn Magnums, the red team has a difficult time bringing the blue flag out of the base. There are no quick getaways, and the ramps are continually mined to resemble mini seas of blue. Again, the simplest plan is best. Drop down into the base, and do your best to maneuver your tank around the mines. You can only hope that the team’s Isida won’t be attempting to conquer the house on top of the map (honestly people, there are parkour battles for a reason -.-). That’s all for now. Glad you're back Dossy ^_^. That being said, I feel like I should account for my inactivity. Since I've arrived back in the US, I've been doing loads of stuff that have kept me from my post as RTD. I'm sorry, but you may have to live with it this way until the end of the month at least. Until then, I'll try to post at least once a week or so and maybe even get on Skype. Now we just need Basen back ;(

Alrighty, I suppose I should explain my actions. It's not exactly a secret that I have low respect for Deadsy's conduct. He's super skilled and a competent leader, but he hasn't shown himself to be all that friendly to HD. He threatened to make HD a living hell for no reason other than our closeness to TM (which lowered my opinion of him considerably) and then proceeded to... spam (???) which hardly creates a living hell in a place like HD, y'know :lol:. That understandably made me respect him even less cause he couldn't even carry out his threats. Of course, that doesn't condone my rudeness, to which I readily admit. If Deadsy thinks I was being harsh, I'd be more than happy to apologise. I wasn't having a great day yesterday and perhaps my frustration carried me away. And Sliced, I don't think any of the clan members hate or even dislike you.... Could be wrong, but I doubt it.
