If it happens only once in a while, then it is most likely - coded in a way that it should not do it - but still does it seldom - which is almost the description of a software bug :p As we are facing a serious update on the way that players are assigned to battles, I think it is best to wait what we get (they told it comes this month - July 2017) and see how it behaves thereafter. -

..with exactly this reason we declined the custom map idea a few weeks ago in the ideas section. Good to see you think alike. Will an optional matchmaking system be available later for custom battles too? I know that the number of options in custom battles opens up the decision-tree and so lowers the rate of matching players into battles.. but some some (like xp/bp, no drugs, sandbox, red alert, bridges, ..) it would work fine. Is that planned? or like this..

ok, so the 4th message in quick sequence leads to a ban; thx for the clarification. It will stay under review and I will report it. In the meanwhile.. are there some workarounds to get people synchronized? The best thing would be a battle timer (like in timed battles) and you can say "we do the trick at 08:45". -

Valid So let me get this right: You have no problem to count #4 like 3 2 1 go ..but if you typed something right ahead of it, or quickly afterwards, then it it too much, am I right? -

IMHO this does not fit to the general idea of Tanki's gameplay at all.. and Magnum players will benefit from this way more then all others. Besides it will be almost impossible to hit such a drone on a map like Serpuchov, which offers no big towers. Even if you place yourself on a ramp, you have the disadvantage that you can not see the impact point of your round (if you miss).. so you can not correct your aim. Remember that there is no horizontal autoaim (at least for most of the turrets.. I think Vulcan has it, but I am not for sure as I do not own one. I just assume if by the way Vulcan's shots change it's location when hitting me. Another point - but that is my personal opionion again - is the skill of battlefiel overview; where a player masters over time to know on which side of the map which oponents are located.. where they camp.. behind which corner the snipers await him. With the drone cam you would make it way easier. ..and by the way less dynamic, as players spend more time to analyze their way forward longer then today. Still I put under review, as you might find a balanced and more feasible way for your idea, that does not favour one turret over all others that much, and that fits better into the gameplay.- 38 replies

Question: Will we see random battles in the battle list? I actually doubt so.. but the vLog was not precise on this issue. I also assume that they are not visible, for the exact same reason that Cedrics quoted below: Up to now this manual selection of battles was the most powerful way to influence your crystal-to-xp ratio (play only what you can win). So this will end for random battles.. while it prevails for custom battles. I am very, very nosy, how this will affect the popularity of the random battles, one the players find this out.

Thanks for this episode of the vLog. As far as I see, Tanki is doing a lot of things right regarding the matchmaking.. and the way to put the teams together is a good tradeoff between something simple and someting that is still good enough to start with. I fear clan trainings will become less populated, when the players do not earn any crystals there.. but at least this sorts oud dedicated members from non-dedicated ones :p Question: Will we see random battles in the battle list? Thanks! Good job - that were a lot of corrections and the page reads much clearer now! As you changed the captions for min/max splash radius, the descriptions got much clearer now ! Maybe you also like to consider to use the new wording in the descriptive texts (proposed below) - up to you of course. Also once, max and min were mixed up. ty :)

found there ..and unfortunately perfectly true. Players move into normal battles to get their missions done; and the map variety of pro battles suffers badly. Most battles that I can find without drugs are the classic grinding maps.. but the rest was eradicated by the move to make missions only doable in non-pro battles. It would be really cool if this could be sorted out :)

The only reason why hammer was granted that rapid and heavy amount of damage, is that - on the downside - this rapid fireburst is limited to three shots and it has a long relaod after the clip is gone. I think you would turn hammer into the OP area with your proposal.. but it could work as an alteration - if the damage is reduced in exchange.

Actually my example was ment in a way, that a low skilled M3 can have the same rating as a high skilled M2. I write it again in separate lines to clear it up: average m2 players = around 500 outstanding M2/low skilled M3 = around 600 average M3 players = around 700 outstanding M3/low skilled M4 = around 800 outstanding M4s = around 900 esport pros = 1000. I actually preffer to have the BER calculated vs the ones you play with (!), and not the ones you play against. Because the people in your team face the same issues, the same enemies, the same side of the map, the same magnum that pounds your heads. About M1s fighting M3s.. how can that happen with a BER system? It could only be, if - the M1 player (player_A_M1) beats all the M2 players he ever meets (player_group_M2) - AND at the same time our poor M3 player (player_C_M3) with the welded turret and low camera looses to all the M2 players he ever meets (player_group_M2). This would mean that in terms of BER: player_A_M1 = player_group_M2 = player_C_M3 So if this players_C_M3 would play vs player_A_M1, he would find a fair match. I think it will work, and if ever an M3 will play vs an M1, then - in the starting time of such a feature when the system is not balanced and tweaked yet - if a player voluntarily downsize his BER, accepting that his rewards will suck during that time - during account sharing (account does not match player any more) - if truely outstanding M1s beat the .. aehm.. gasoline out of all M2s, while some M3s can't hit a house.

comparing Salve mode to Arcade mode, in M3 Salve mode, fire 4 rockets: total cycle time for 4 rockets: 5,84sec Arcade mode, fire 3 rockets: total cycle time for 3 rockets: 5,91sec Since I looked at those figures, I use the salve mode only in times, when I am very, very, very sure I will make it count. I waste three rockets if I mess it up.. If there is any obstacle around my enemy, I do not use it. If he is under heavy fire of my teammates, I do not use it. What I do, is to fire as many arcade rockets around the place, as I can, and practise my aim with them. Only if I catch a rather fresh enemy out in the open.. even better if he aproaches a bunch of his friends, then I go for the salve mode. Also if someone catches my close up, and I know I will die, the chances to get 4 rockets via salve a better then to hit 4 rockets via arcade mode - but this works only in a titan, as mid or light hulls die too fast.
