  1. The point is that you don't have to take much care about that, if you measure the efficiency all the time. Please not in advance, that I do not talk about that efficiency rating that you can see in the profile today. Have you ever met an M2 player that is (obviously an alt) and has so much skills, that he can easily compete with M3s? I've met some, and imho they need to have the same battle efficiency rating as those M3 players they can compete with. So if you meassure the efficiency of a player by comparing how he performs (in [score per time spent in a certain battle]) and compare it to the others of his team when one leaves (filtering out extreme underperformers = people on pause or mults) you get a pretty decent picture who is capable of aiding his team with points - and who is not. After a while the large blob of players will find their place on the scale of battle efficiency. Lets assume that scale starts at 100 (default value for a new starter) and ends at 1000 (max possible value) Then you will find average m2 players around 500, outstanding M2/low skilled M3 at around 600, average M3 players at around 700, outstanding M3/low skilled M4 at around 800, outstanding M4s ar around 900 and esport pros at 1000. If a player with a battle efficiency rating (BER) of 600 owns an M2 and competes fine vs. other players with BER-600, then he will stay at this BER value. If he later on purchases an M3 gear, he will be able to get more score in those battles he is placed in, and so his BER will raise above 600. So he will face harder opponents.. and so on. In short terms, you always play vs player with a simmilar BER, and if you outperform them (in score per minute on the same team in the same battle) then your BER will rise while theirs might drop (gradually). This is a self adjusting system, that adjusts to the players performance over time. Gear will help you to improve your BER, but only if you can make use of it. An M3 player that misses 60% of his shots, has a lower BER then an M2 that hits 90%, as he simply can not score as much per time (in the same battle, on the same team). That are the basics in a nutshell.

  3. if you rate the battle efficiency in comparism to others in the same situation, you end up with a system that does not need to evaluate the M-level. But with battle efficiency I mean some other number, then what is measured today. A proposal that should work: but as said.. we've got to find another place to go in deep on that

    true, they are UP on most maps.. but I think this was on purpose to make the players use more nitros (the least used drug now makes more sense). But even more then the cut in top speed, it hurts to loose the agility (turning acceleration). You can not dodge as good as necessary.. which would be especially needed since the speed was cut. But we drift off-topic..

    I was very, very unhappy with what the last rebalance did to my rail-wasp.. and I asked for the same thing as you: pls refrain from large balance changes, keep the main characteristics of turrets and hulls (because that is why we love them) and tweak just a few percent, but more often. I got the answer, that this is what they plan.. and it really happened afterwards. Some things got changed massively (like Isida), but the most other things were just small changes, that allowed their users to accommodate fairly quickly (Fire, Freeze, Fire again, Twins, Hammer, ...). Well I am still not happy with my now rather lame duck - aehm, Wasp - but I really like that they keep to that "small changes + more often" paradigm regarding balance changes. For your other point (skills -vs- wallet): I had the same opinon.. and then I thought, why should the game favour skills over all - and so lock out 50% of it's clients that can not take the time to train their 3rd person view aiming skills and timings to the max? Drugs are a different story (as also skilled players canmake deadly use of overpowered supplies), but what this game lacks is a matchmaking that matches players according to their skill ( = talent, passion, hard work) - and not according to their rank ( = just a lot of ingame time). I proposed such a system already twice, and one time Hazel came by the post and told, that such a thing is actually planned. Well.. I guess there will be a lot of Water going down the river until we have it (other tasks have a higher prio at the moment), but it tells me that the lead desiner is aware of this issue and plans to go to the right direction. Sounds good to me.. but maybe I am just a bit more patient.

It is not clear if Tanki will develop your feature request, but anyways you need help to make use of your money 2. Even if Tanki develops your feature request, you need help now, and not in some months (or whenever they find time) Once you have been helped, we can repost your idea in the ideas section; together with a short guide on how people in the same situation can get help / can use a temporary workaround / ... whatever it took to help you out. good luck on your claim, BW

    You get the things out of context. The 17hours calculation was here to prove that it is not easily done within one battle. I know that the timeframe is 2 days, but my original point was about making the contest as hard in pro, as it is for non-pro. Read below: In my opinion it sounds fair, to do either 2000 kills in normal battles or 4000 in pro. Can you agree on that?

    If the easier completion of that challenges in pro battles is the reason, why this may not be done in pro battles, then I like to suggest to allow the pro battle kills to count as well, but just at 50% of their rate. So instead of 400 kills in non-pro, 800 kills in pro would give the same results. Then players that like to play pro most of the time, could also participate, and at least gain a small reward.

    well let's see. I appriciate that the supplies will last shorter.. because this should reduce the time-on-drugs that's in the game overall. The overdrive on the other hand is available to buyers and to free players as well. Of course the overdrive bar fills up faster if you have supplies in use; but this effect can be adjusted. I wonder how the fraction of the hardcore druggers will react to this feature.

    Longer cooldowns, shorter active time. Wasn't there a simmilar setting around here, beeing tested a few months ago? I heard a lot of comments, that all it achieved was to have the players camping in their base until they could activate all supplies again, and go for an attack then. Maybe it would be cooler, if you purchase [generic supplies] + Mines, and each time you activate DD, DA, Nitro or RK, it consumes one of your generic supplies. But you can have only two of them active at a time.. so each time you activate a third one, the first one gets deactivated instantly.

    If you fade away while riding a donkey, it is way safer. It also has no AC that can break. Obviously donkeys are way superior to cars :p :p :p
