The risk of getting caught and lose a high ranked account (which took a year to raise) pushes those script kiddies into your ranks.. IMHO you can not count game mechanics violators in that ultra-low ranks into the Tanki hacker problem. This feels like counting kids that rob sweets from their pals in the kindergarden into the criminal statistics of your country :) On the other hand, if a Gismo uses game mechanic violations, and gets away with it for quite a period of time (weeks), then you are deeply in the problem that Tanki has. Good news are, that most of them are based on Cheat Engine (a software used to craft such things), and this stuff stops working once the html5 version is released AND adobe flash based clients become disabled from logging in. Of course it is just a question of time, until the hackers adapt, and provide new game mechanic cheats to those script kiddies that download it (and not even thing that a hidden trojan could steal their Tank or worse..).. but you will have some free time :)

Lag is an effect based on delayed processing / transmission of data between player_A<->Server<->player_B. A paint has no influence on that at all.. You maybe thought about fps (frames per second = full picture frames created and displayed on your monitor per second)?

Valid It would be good to have both times, UTC and local. There is a similar topic for an ingame clock, but yours points more on the time written in the announcement, and less on the availability of an in-game clock.

Tanki has a history of giving rewards to players that participate in eSports events and give aways; I guess they learned already that only a few people should be entrusted with the capability to hand out certain, valuable things. And I agree to the rest of your proposales: - a % on a shop item does not help a free player at all - promo codes that work via the garage too would be nice as well (like one promo code that gives you either 50% off a shop paint or 30% off a garage paint)

I do not know the fee's that Tanki has to pay / will loose by this payment method... but I bet this will be one of the most convenient methods to pay for a lot of people.

^ well you just proved that I am right on saying that it is hard to define such rules. I am happy that I am not entitled to that job, as I would quit, And not because I am scared, but because I think that I am not qualified to do that. But anyways - coop posted a part of the rules that state that players might contact the helpdesk in order to complain about rules. Makes sense IMHO, because the average audience here is very young. Young people can be clever and mature too, but most are not. Discussing such stuff here would be a mess.. waste time.. and give no valid outcome.

Uhm.. possible misunderstanding? I do not have to explain you "where you are coming from / what you are talking about", as you made your point perfectly clear, with all those examples on Stalin as well. Maybe it works better this way: If you are unhappy with the traffic laws in your country, then you should not start to negotiate with police man about it. They do not make the rules and laws, they just execute them. It will get you nowhere _and_ additionally consume a lot of time - your time and their time - with no result. It is simply the wrong address to talk to ;)

Please don't get me wrong, I am not kidding: If you are willing to study the mechanisms of what offends people, what works well with a standard in morals that is widely accepted through out various cultures and get yourself as deep in politics and history, so that you can craft a multilateral accepted standard of what is acceptable and what not in international internet forums - then you are highly welcome to contact the Tanki administration (not the forum admins, I mean the overall administration that defined the EULA and game rules) and offer your assistance there. Honestly. Up to then, small proposals towards forum moderators are not a useful thing to proceed, as we do neither define the rules, nor are the most of us (some may be, IDK everyone) that educated as stated above, to be able to work things like that out up to a quality that makes sense. We don't make them, we can't change them - we can only apply them. So despite that I understand very well where you come from.. it is simply not useful to continue on a "rules have faults" topic here in this thread.

It will be - more or less - one of the maps the battle button sends you today as well. You can not pick one of those battles that the matchmaking system sends other players to. In theory there could be something done about it (like displaying the map after you clicked [3-CTF ( Capture the flag)] - while it collects players - and so before it sends you to the map).. but this has the disadvantage that it will not work well in non-peak times with a low active player count. I think (fear) that the players that specialize on one or two turrets will face maps that their turret 1) does not work well in (like Striker in Rio) 2) does work so great that everyone has 50% protection (like Rail in Serpuchov) But to be fair, the most common maps in Tanki are designed to work very well with almost every turret. So if your chance to fail with the turret-to-map combination is about 1/10, then you can easily exit the battle and click the button again a few seconds later, as it happens rarely. Let's see. The thing will be new for Tanki and it is only natural that problems have been overlooked and have to be tweaked out later on.
