What is a N/A tag? "N/A" means "not available". If a player in a battle - wents on Pause or - is AFK (not hitting keys or chatting for 15 sec or longer) or - or does not spawn due to lag or whatever THEN -> there should be a little "N/A" tag (means "not available") in the battle statistics next to the players name. Why is that usefull? in XP/BP battles the players usually wait until the teams are at equal size; and often the do truely stop the battle and wait if a player gets AFK or lags out. But they can not see if a player is AFK, except they drive next to him. To have the means to simply KNOW if yo ushoudl stop or not, would help a lot. today there are dialogs like well, this would all be easier if we could see, who is acting and who not.

as you could play by other means you might have a firewall set up, that prohibits the client application to establish those connections. Can it be that there is a certain someone, who set up the computer for you, in a way to be secure?

funny thing was, those steps did not lead to success (cleared global Flashplayer cache twice.. - as I run the standalone flashplayer). What worked was to take a browser, go to the tanki forum page that lists the flashplayer server links (there) and click one of the server links there. It loaded the game in my browser; and afterwards it worked also fine with my standalone Flash configurations that I used for the last months.

Try to run the pingtest now. Now (right now) the servers are closed down for players down due to maintenance, and you can find out how good your connection actially is. The problem is not the location.. it adds maybe 10..20 ms per direction. The problem is the overload they run.

You can believe both. Ping is meassured between two defined points in the network.. lets say between your computer (point A) and the target server (point B ). The "ping value" represents the roundtriptime of a packet on the internet from "point A to point B and back to point A", meassured in milliseconds. If you run a speedtest, your computer connected to a special speedtest server in Riga and meassured a ping of 26 milliseconds. If you connect to the tanki servers, the client meassured a ping of 999 milliseconds (which is the max value it can give.. you can assume it is higher then 999 milliseconds in real). The tankiservers are not in Riga, they are in Netherlands (city of Amsterdam as far as I know). This means two things: 1) your home is most likely closer to the speedtest server in Riga, then your home is to Amsterdam. Therefore the ping time to Riga is naturaly shorter towards Riga then towards Amsterdam. 2) The tankiservers get overloaded from time to time and then they can not reply to ping requests immediatly.. or reply very, very late => the roundtrip time will become very, very long.. or you might get no answer at all ;) So.. in some certain cases the network between your home and Tanki has an "temporary issue" and creates a delay in the packet transmission.. but this is very, very rare. I have this effect 2..3 times a year. Most of the times you can blame tanki themselfes, as they cut down the amount of servers they run, and so increase the load on each server. So the servers get into overload on a regular base, and ping goes up and up.. If you want to meassure the true ping towards tanki servers you can enter this in a command line window (cmd.exe):

first you should tell on which hull & Turret you need the protection on; because this defines what you need. The map and facvorite gamemodes are also important. Then you can expect tailored answers

Sorry, I didnt get what you are pointing at: what have you done already, and what made you beeing screwed up?

The easiest way to earn crystals is to get a job in the real world. If you manage to work, to do some work for others and charge a little, mow lawns or wash cars, you can earn money. Just compare the time used up: - the time that it takes to earn 100 USD = 10..30 hours, depending on your skills and opportunities - the time it takes to earn 800.000 crystals in game = 400..800 hours, depending on your rank it is pretty obvious, where you should invest your time in. Or if take your earned money to buy premium, you save a lot of time playing here (experience x1,5 = time 2/3rs) and you earn more crytals on the way.. which makes it a smooth thing. In fact you would save the time you used on your job easily in the game later on. But pls dont start to charge your parrents for helping them doing your chores.. I mean, they also do not charge you for feeding you, hmm? Also dont invest too much here. It _stays_ a game, virtual goods, nothing that compares to an investment in the real world. this here is like consumeables.. like buying sweets from time to time. Dont overdo it ;) Seriously; in this game the players are underpaid in terms of "rewards" - but of course they are paid in in-game-fun. You can have a pretty usefull gararge as a fre player if you invest wise.. but you can also mess up completely if you think you can afford all the stuff in here. All data based on an assumption of a single purchase of crystals for 100 USD, with double crystal card, gives roundabout 800.000 crystals, supplies and several days premium.

I think you can start a new account and work your way up to the M0 version.. there you can get an idea about its possibilities. On the testservers you can try out the M3/M4 later on. But I think you are absolutely correct about the rest. The turret will launch most likely overpowered, and once a lot of players purchased it, there will be a rebalance again. As usual. I have to admit, it _is_ kind of hard to balance turrets out in advance.. as the testers in advance can never work out so many ways to use/abuse a turret in advance, as the community can within 2..4 weeks. therefore I am a fan of renting out those turrets for a given time frame.. like they startet it with XT turrets a while back ago. Then you paid for the XT turret and you know it will last only up to a certain date. The closer the date came, the cheaper was the renting fee for players, who did not rent yet. So lets assume the turret can be rented; and 4 weeks after it's introduction a rebalance takes place. You have 2 more weeks to check if you still like the turret.. if yes, you have the chance to pay something on top of your rental fee, and so convert your rent into a permanent purchase. But if you dont like the turret after the rebalance (or you never did) then the rental will run out and thats it. This will benefit both sides: - Tanki will drain more crystals out of the system, as a looooot of players will rent it. Some maybe in the latest days when the rental is cheaper.. but they will. Just for the sake to try it out - Players will have the chance to check out the turret on a longer time base - Tanki gains time and data for a suitale rebalance - Players can make their final choice after the rebalance - Players that would purchase the turret, will do so. All would benefit

You seem to like medium hulls. If you feel alright with your Hunter M2, then in M3/M4 you will love the Viking. In M3/M4 the Viking is better then the Hunter, mostly for reasons of weight. The M3/M4 turrets have so powerfull impact force, that they make your Hunter spin around and miss all shots. So look at the M3 kits that run a Viking. They unlock pretty early. Up to then work hard to survive with your existing M2s. I would suggest to _not_ get any more M2 turrets.. it iseems you have spent far too much on M2 hulls already. M3/M4 is the target in this game, and you have enough means to get there with your current equipment. As soon as you have your M3 Viking kit play this hull a lot - it will also combine great with your M2 Rico. In those Ranks around Brigadier a Viking M3 is a decent hull for CP and can compete with M2 Titans easily. Save then for another kit that comes with M3 Dictator or Titan (you look like you could be a fan of cardinal - Twins/Titan).. and you are good in the business. With Viking and Titan; Twins M3 Rico M2 and another M3 turret that comes from your Viking kit, you have a decent garage for CP & DM (Titan based), CTF defense (Titan based) and CTF offense/midfield (Viking).

There will be no map that you can use to aim your shot (before you shoot it).. as this is considered as too easy. , but you still can fire anywhere (if you dont hit a house first). You just need skill to do that.. lots of skill most likely. I wonder how effective the arty would be in direct mode.. as it cant spin the turret you are mearly lost in close combat in higher ranks. Even a Shaft and a Vulcan can suitable defend itself on short range (Shafts Arcade Shot is quite powerfull; and a Vulcan usually drives back-to-the-wall to prevent smaller tanks for circling around it. With the new Vulcan alternation for faster turning speed, the tactics to encircla a vulcan may be obsolete anyways)

Garage bug.. today very bad almost every change I made during a battle was not performed -.- I have to go back to the garage, equip the things again.. then it works. Yesterday I upgraded to FlashStandAlonew v23; maybe this makes a difference.. I cant tell It is very anoying btw :)

I just met Mafioso in an Generalissimo Polygon DM. He ruled it out with his alternated M3 firebird (on a Hornet); simply toasted down everybody. gg ;) I wonder how long this alternation will stay like that, before it gets rebalanced :)

what M3s are you thinking about, that you really are gonna use? (for a mere collection this game is to expensive or to time consuming or both :p )

thinking if it would be usefull to sum up all found bugs and mistakes; list them in the initial post.. close down here and kindy ask for some patience until the next release is realeased (if it comes soon).

So now tankers can spend all their crystals on microupgrades; leaving them broke when more alternations come along (the fancy ones at least - most likely). Still.. better a sale, and you know why; then no sale at all.
