    Isidas healing rate seems to have decreased by ~~20% The tank healthpool on the battlefield (medium and larger tanks) has been reduced by ~~~10% (very aproximately ;)) So Isidas healing power is reduced by ~~~10%, while it can be applied for 27% longer. On the other hand the reload did not improove for M3; and is less for M4. Overall healing has a little more impact over all; but it takes longer. I play isida too, but I am no pro with it. In defense I usually run out of energy multiple times, before I get killed (I run an Isi M3, Viking M3). I use other tanks as cover.. most of the time it works. In attack I usually can give one full charge of healing, before I get killed; but I cant mamange to reload and give another one.

My proposal of a hull balance for more diversity - keeps Wasp-Hornet diverse - keeps Titan-Mammut diverse - keeps the main focus of todays Hunter and Viking pilots in their respective hull, while balancing both; - gives a clear designation and usecase to Dictator Feedback is welcome... (pls give no ironic comments, but some that even I can understand ;)) and if someone can point this out to our chief balancing game designer, it would be usefull as well in short: In detail

This is absolutely true.. and therefore Isida will be plain dead in DM mode. in Team modes however, the turret still gives an advantage to your _team_ (not to yourself), as it has the unique ability to heal other tanks. So while freeze and firebird have more damage + unique abilities; the isida has also a valuable unique ability (flagrunners, CP campers and teamdeathmatch tanks love it, if an Isida acompanies them). But given all those.. I _still_ consider it as strongly underpowered now. Tanki should find a better solution to nerve the effect of Isidas beeing overpowered. Mainly they were overpowered if on DP, as it doubled their health-gain. And mainly they are overpowered if they come in parties of 3..4 Isisdas.. which is not changed at all with the new rebalance. I once proposed to: - disable the effect of DP on the selfhealing - lower the rate at which one isida may heal another isisda (while healing non-isidas is kept upright). But I got no comment from the game designers :(

    'The hull speed will be 0,1 - this means 10% of it's natural speed. The hull will be damn, damn, slow (pun intended :P) What I cant tell is how long it will take, to freeze a tank down to this level. The parameter freezing time could mean it takes 2,x seconds to archieve that.. well this is far too long in my opinion. Yes I know.. but as you wrote - comapred to each other the characteristics are plainly swapped.

    yep, hunter will beat. They acutally just swapped out hunter and Vikings specs.. (including the drift, exceletnt observation!) -.- But lets see, what really comes out. The update is here mid October; then we will drive it.. complain :P and they maybe want to adapt a little more.. time will tell.

    I would recommend to buy nothing now. The rebalance was now announced.. it is likely that some things will change after it is "in game" for a month or two. Also the new alternations could be in game by then... se we talk about end of November, mid dezember. Save and stockpile your crystals for the christmas sale.. by then play with what you have by now. As you are generalissimo already, you cant purchase kits anyways... so use the time and see waht it brings

    You know, thats actually _seems_ to be a part of their business model: Once all 9..18 months the stats of some equipment are changed in a way, that players don't recognise the equipment characterisitcs that they loved. So they are either forced to spend some money to buy another thing fast; or play a lot with drugs to earn those missing crystals (which is harder now) or they simply leave the game and make free space for newcomers (high ranked players that do not like to spend money are like a dead burden..). It also fits perfectly, that 12..18 months is a usual time to reach th highest rank.. so it is "once every generation" if you like to say so. Dont get me wrong.. balancing is important. I am pro-balance, but I would love to see it in a way that it - keeps the special characteristics of the turrets and hulls - while it just makes them less or more powerfull slightly Then (and only then) every player could play the turret and hull he loves; while the balance of power could be handled as well.

    the hitbox of dictaor is awesome large; there are a lot of places on the battlefield where you can not hide with a dictator. Either die to its large hitbox of the base or simply because of its large height. I have not yet checked the accelerations and turning speeds of a dictator. In the past it was a nice defender, as size didnt matter so much; while the hp where nice and the turning speed and agility (acceleration) made it easy to move around a little inside the base, without feeling like a sitting duck (mammut). How many dictators do you see in midfield and attack? Viking was a very versatile hull; and now - for a reason that must have to do with crsstal spendings :P - they exchanged hunter and viking. besides that: I already have an M3 viking, and I see no reason why now it's specs are literaly exchanged with a hunter. There is no point to it.. except to force me to buy another hull. I completely agree. Isisdas have beent pretty balanced - if they did not where on supplies. the selfhealing on DP was the main problem they had, not overall overpowerness. It would be much better, if Tanki cancels the effect of DP on selfhealing, and leaves the rest of the isida stats as they were.

    Weight = stability = makes you beeing less effected by enemys impact force. Weight keeps you alive if you are under enemy fire, as you are able to fire back, and hit something, instead of keep missing. Hunters (today, pre-balance) get spinned in circles by Vulcan, Rico, Twins, Smoky..... - if the weight change now means, that this happens to Viking (after balance), then a lot of Viking pilots will be very, very disapointed. The speed advantage is neglectable.. the 0.5 points on speed mean 5 meters advantage on a 10sec race. 5 meter = length of a wasp. 10sec = forever and a day. I once did a race (hunter M3 vs Viking M3) on midrange distance (red alert, red base ramps through canyon towards the large bridge). Viking and Hunter performed equally, there was no relevant difference in speed. 0.5 points are pure cosmetic on 80% of the freuently played maps.

    Let's Discuss Freeze!

    With the new freeze balance, the range of max-damage (defines range for max efficienty) is increased to 10m. with the M1 alternation for freeze, this max-damage range can be increased by 100% (to 20m). So will freeze deal then its maximum damage truly within a range of 20m? Thats.. kind of brutal. On the other hand the wiki tells that the freezeing parametes are changed: Freeze level of hull 0.3 -> 0.1. So a hull will move by 10% of its speed.. this is virtual standstill. But the freezing rate (measured in seconds??) is increased from 0.6 to 2++seconds.. does this mean it will take forever to freeze an opponent? A wasp dies within 2..3 seconds you know.. EDIT: after some test on the testserver: :((( it lasts forever to freeze down an opponent -.- Again it will be very, very, very hard to play Wasp-Frezee, which once was a very funny and still balanced combo. Now.. not any more.. especially as the Wasps agility is reduced.

    Viking was a little superior to Hunter, as Hunter had less weight and less stability. Hunter could be sent into dancing and spinning, by almost every M3/M4 turret. Now.. they have changed the Viking and Hunter (again btw, as it happened already 1 year ago). Are now all current M3 Viking pilots are pushed to get an M3 Hunter instead, if they like to stick to what specs they've chosen? I see no reason in exchanging those hulls specs (hunter <-> viking) as if not for making us spend even more crystals -.- This single part of the rebalance is pretty much useless.. and if I have missed something then pls enlighten me (and no, 0.5 points speed advantage mean nothing. This means that if you race a hunter vs a viking, then after 10 seconds, the viking will be 5 meters ahead. That is a single wasp-length advantage after 10 seconds! On which maps you drive 10sec straight without making a stop behind a cover to check the situation? To spy for defenders? To make some midfield shots? And if you ever race an enemy for 10sec, then one of you is usually dead anyways (you dont expect your enemy to drive by your side peacefully??) It makes no effect at all.

    firebird takes now 5sec to completely heat a tank up.. in the past it was just 2,5sec. This will decrease burning damage massively.. together with the decreased loadinng time, firebird will be more like a direct charge weapon instead of that heat-and-run turret. although.. The alternation on haeting rate and max temp combined with less reload will impact massively

    Isida has weaker damage, less range and less self healing. Therefor it can sustain its beam for 9sec now instead of 7 sec in the past. The overall healingoutput and overall damageoutput per charge is increased, but as the reload is not adapted accordingly, the DPS and HPS is decreased. As most tanks onthe field are light and medium - and their health is almost untouched by this rebalance - the isida is effectively nerved. I know it was overpowered by its selfhealing on drugs... but this was an issue of [selfhealing on drugs] and not an issue of the overall isida specs.
  20. What I've seen up to now: Wasp-Hornet: Hornet does not drift any more, drives corners like a wasp (lateral acceleration) Speed difference from hornet M3 to wasp M3 is neglectable. Wasp is accelerating and breaking less efficient, while the cornering advantage of wasp is gone. yey -.- I liked the drift-nodrift difference between wasp and hornet.. hard cornering vs hard stopping and fast acceleration. Now its gone. --- Hunter Viking up to now in M3 viking was the better choice, as the hunters marginal speed and agility benefits have been outweighted by vilings stabillity and acceleration. M3 turrets impact so hard, that hunters can be danced around. Now they swapped it. They simply swapped hunter with viking specs. Is there a serious reason for it, except to make me buy another hull? -- Isida has weaker damage, less range and less self healing. Now I have an M3 viking where I would like a hunter.. and an Isida where I doubt it makes so much fun in the future (I dont even drug with it..) hmpf. --- Rail-vs-Hornet/Wasp, XP/BP A wasp/Hornet has now a slightly small chance to survive 2 railshots, but usually they should be 2shotkill. those 2 shots take only 8.6seconds now, instead of 11sec in the past. XP/BP will speed up considerably.. --- I truely like the changes of M0 M1 Railgun. The turret rotated far too slow and reloaded far too long.. the newcomers will now have a better gameplay with it. I just hope, it is not overpowered in those ranks now. Penetration was increased significantly for M0 M1, which is ok, as those beginners cant line up shots anyways. In case they fire into a group of tanks ocassionally, the benefit is now feelable.. but as it happens not too often it is ok.
  21. Isisda was well balanced; the issue was that the selfhealing was inflicted by DP. If an Isida on DP would just gain as much health back, as without DP, then the situation would be completely different. Also if the healing between isidas would be less efficient then healing other tanks, this would balance it out, without taking isida down

    I often complained, that Tanki does not communicate changes in advance and gives too few information before they introduce some changes. This time you started to do better - VLOG, Wikiw articles, and already some first numbers. So you deserved a large for telling us about that in advance. Please keep this up and going like that. ps: I hope you dont mess it up :P
  23. before you do that, note down the host adress (37. ...) and the ports and give the tech support of your internet provder a call. Ask if your internet provider blocks these ports - if not then it is _not_ the provides fault. Most likely you rund a firewall that allows that ports only for the browser and not for some other application (like the tanki client).

    prequel: I am not a buyer. And no drugger either. I agree to most of the things you've written.. but not to the lines of yours that I quoted here. Maybe it's because I am no native speaker and misunderstand you.. but we will see. I think Cedrik is right on his statement, that players either pay in time, or they pay in money to shorten their time. It was maybe not the most sophisticated way to tell this truth.. but still it ain't wrong. I actually like to put it a little more blunt (as I am no employee of the company, I may do so :P ) What your time is worth: 1 hour of "work" in tanki = 0,15 EUR (if I focus on crystals only) (1500 crystals average earnings per hour on my rank -vs- 700.000 crystals purchased for 70 EUR on Double Crystal card) If players play for fun, it is alright. But if someone thinks he plays for earning crystals - man, do the math: average wage in my country = 8 EUR nett per hour. 8EUR / 0,15 EUR = 53. I am 53 times better off, if I do some work and spend money here. Even if the average wage would be only 4 EUR nett... still 26 times more efficient to work for real.. we free players are just sheep that are lured to spend hours and hours in this game (it provides fun in the beginning), while the economy is set up in a way, that we have very little room for misinvestments along our path to generalissimo (game becomes to feel like real hard work after some time and rank). If we fail to invest clever, we end up underequipped, underpowered, and lost. If we keep losing, the crystal income declies drastically.. which makes the situation worse. Everything here is really made to push us into purchases sooner or later.. or to bite our bitter way through it (beeing the sheep for the druggin wolfes). As I said: I am not a buyer. And no drugger either. Of course I earn not only crystals.. I also earn some fun.. but I also earn some serious *askzqlwuezqw !!!!!* if they rebalance my combo which I chose so carefully.     Let's Discuss Freeze!

    It was 2014 not even capable of competing in M3/M4 battles as the hulls and turrets turned faster then the freeze effect impacted them.. but the last rebalances made it even worse. Today Freeze designation has changed. With its massive energy reservoir you can blast damage for 9 seconds; it is now a drugger turret. In higher ranks it is used from time to time in small map CP games (arena CP), mounted on serious hulls like Titan ar Mammuth. With DP activated you deliver a loooong lasting blast of pure devestation. Mainly a drugger-turret now. but of course the clever gameplay that we loved this turret for.. is completely gone. It's a shame. They could change the Blasts color to green and call it "Acid"; that would suit it's characterisitics more. (Then at least this one guy that advertises an acid turret here in the forum since 1 year would be happy maybe.)
