I think Fire is overall the strongest turret in the game right now.

If they don't tie overdrives to hulls then there would be no reason to implement new hulls it would make the game more complicated -> for players and for devs (would it be possible to balance out every OD and hull combination?) probably they'd need to remove the hull groups again (I assume they were built with ODs in mind) Hazel once said, he wanted to make ODs for free to balance out p2w elements in the game there is no further direct need for most tankers to buy more than 1-2 hulls

True, but most of the shots were far below 50% before and that made it strong. It was best to use the 45% angle for flat grounds to shoot as far as possible with the lowest power numbers. To optimize reload it is now better to use very flat angles or really steep ones, but it is harder to hit then. For the range of 2m to about 11m around the impact point it has less splash too.

I can't see this as an overall buff. Magnums greatest asset is shooting indirectly. You can't shoot indirectly with 100% power.

Isida, Fire (direct damage), Freeze, Isida, Vulcan and Hammer (with all pellets). Shaft's arcade shots don't.

Striker's latest patch changes: Average splash damage (%): 50% -> 90% Radius of average splash damage (m): 2m -> 5m Radius of min splash damage (m): 10m -> 8m Projectile radius (m): 0.5m -> 1m Yay Striker's missiles are finally as big as Twins' projectiles :D Seriously, I'm starting to like Striker now... just finished a long Rio non-drug battle on #1.

I played Magistral twice already. I like it, but you rather have to take longer-ranged turrets, like Smoky. The open fields make it ideal for Striker too.

Arcade mode was already nerfed several times.

When you buy the higher modification level you will keep the alteration that you bought before and you will be able to use this alteration in the higher level as well.

Magnum is so much easier to play than Striker -_-

From what we've seen in Vlog 147 there are only a couple of hulls/overdrives (like it is with drones) that can be shared with others. Dictator, Hornet and Titan are able to share (+Hunter shares with enemies). As it is now with the Fulldrug Overdrive the allies that receive the shared effect will get the same overdrive effect like the person has it who activated it.

I don't think that it is a good idea, because it would make them too similar to the Helper (purple) and Neon (yellow) paints.

Yep, I think Hammer is the only turret, for which I usually have both alts. equipped.

I used to like Viking for being a bit speedier, but recently I have discovered that it is a lot easier to rock the hull with Hunter and make greatly more use of the auto-aim, esp. for Smoky, Thunder and Striker.

I think that the current balance changes had the purpose to sharpen purpose of the turrets (apart from generating revenue :ph34r:). Melee turrets have an extreme damage within 10 m range and in max. 20 m. Short rangers are in-between with Twins being effective on just few meters more than the melee turrets and Hammer and Rico up to 60m. All got an alteration which makes them better over range, so they can close the gap to mid-range turrets. Mid-range turrets got no damage decrease within 100 m range. One issue: Striker is assigned to the mid-range turrets, but I think it is more useful in the short ranger distance of ~60m due to the limited aiming. Magnum, Rail and Shaft are the ones that can properly hit a tank over the whole map and have no damage decrease. The important thing is that there is a good mix of different guns in a team and that they stick to their roles.

You can perform pretty well with it, when you take the right maps. I found the MMS Sandbox good for Vulcan camping.

No new features, just some changing of parameters. Stronger overheating, but longer time until overheating starts longer spin up time stronger turret slowdown
