  1. For you who fail to see the issue as I scribed it, the point was to vanish blocks. Now they show as blocked. I know they're blocked; they're listed in my blacklist, not "blacklist." I don't need to see when they post. I wish not to see. Having sought to eradicate blocked Tankers for a cleaner chat view, this change floods and muddies the chat window all over again. I can explain it no better than that. Before you post speculation, think a bit. It's not really that hard. :) Blessings.
  2. Thanks for your utterly pointless remark, but i see by your post count of 4675, you're frequently irrelevant and, likely, pointless. BTW, the goal still serves. I see far less profaners and babblers "content." I'll add you shortly.

This player is on your black list. The message is hidden.

What on Earth possessed Tanki to flood chat with that quote. I may well be the lead blocker of Tanki. i do it to keep my chat clean of profaners, twerps, rules scofflaws and assorted scoundrels and rascals. Now Tanki assures I see every post they make! I blocked to NOT see them! More than an explanation for this foolishness, I covet it being disabled. Why should one who is blocked appear in the blocker's chat box at all!?! Your immediate attention to this will be appreciated. Blessings

Tanki solutions of ever present lag.hit.

When I hope to play, lag is nearly constant. Even here as I type, the type lags, and I'm far from a fast typist. When the alert box for low FPS shows, a link takes one to where suggested solutions are offered. They fail. Turn of this, turn off that. Still lag persist. The choice of browser matters not one whit. I find admiration and fascination in Admin posts about Tanki development work. They suggest a remarkable future for the progression of the game, its development, but all that matters little to Tankers plagued with incessant lag. The movement of servers to the Netherlands prompted a twinge of hope. No joy due to no change, in fact worsening lag.I plead with Tanki developers, give at least as much attention and effort to making the game playable as to making the toys more elaborate. If you care to successfully occupy the world stage, you must make Tanki workable worldwide. Thanks for your time and attention. MD21
  5. All the stewing and ranting about advantages/disadvantages are self-ceterend and, mostly, illogical. This feature existed previously, and no cheating was evident. "It was decided" to allow change only with a gap of 15 minutes. Well, good decisions base their conclusions on sound reasoning. What was the reasoning for this prohibition of 15 minute delays? Factually, any player could change predicated on changes made by any other player, so what will a 15 minute prohibition accomplish? If change is enabled, get out of the way and let 'er rip. Remember, while re-rigging, one is inactive in the match and may, consequently, miss important progress/opportunities/scores. Changing rigs has that inherent disadvantage inbuilt. I don't think a prohibition by time for number of changes stands the test of reason. I'd be interested in being corrected by reasoning, not feeling, emoting, fear, self-centeredness and bias. If change will be enabled, don't restrict it. It's restrictions or disadvantages are inherent. Blessings.

Issho_Fulitora, thank you for those informational links. Hope springs eternal.

    Truly tired of it.

I hate writing in the Forum. Why? Many reasons exist. Mainly the rules are so complex, one risks a ban for ignorance or error. Also, I loath wasting my time, and it's surely wasted if the gods of Tank don't read or see my posts. But sometimes one can stand no more. While I enjoy the game, frustrations rise that reduce that pleasure enough that one begins to think of better pastimes like ramming my head against a wall repeatedly. Lately lag is insufferable. It is far too common to see a message advising that there's been some fashion of system error, and one is "excused" from the game. If luck prevails, one may actually reenter the match without losing standing, earned crystals and points. Luck isn't always with you. Lately days of yore return with severe lag making play impossible. Peachy. Also there's the strong impression, an age old one, that Devs, Admin, Mods or whomever might actually affect change don't read the Forum to get the gist of the community's concerns. My biggest gripe is that Tanki removed the option to re-rig during matches. By re-rigging, I refer to exiting the match on pause long enough to grab the re-rig from the garage that better suits the match entered. That's a crucial element for more than one reason. Firstly, what is the point of choring to earn in order to expand one's garage if you can't access the items in it? I buy turrets, tanks and skins to gain tactical advantage, yet I can't modify as I play. I could in the past, but for reasons unknown though, likely, tied to profit, I can't now. Why!?! It would actually enhance sales were Tankers able to actually USE their garage's offerings! Also, it would make game play far more interesting. The tactical strategizing would please players, and it's certain players would strive mightily to grow garage inventories. I could drone on, and there exists far more reasons to do this than not to do this. Get with the program, Tanki. All the changes you've made do enhance the game play, but this one, one you've repeatedly said is "coming," still fails to show. Enable Tankers to actually USE what they have. Thanks for your attention on the outside chance you read this. If I violated one of the many rules thus earning a sanction, at least, please, tell me what I did wrong so I might avoid future high crimes and misdemeanors. Blessings.

    Dear Maddog21

I find this sort of drivel pointless, but I'll contribute ONCE. Jake, in that match you did precisely what you're doing here. You dissed (Insulted) many. I don't care for that, and I told you so. You presented an arrogant, pretentious, unpleasant character. Your option just like it was my option to tell you what I did. You presumed to tell me and others how we ought to be playing, equipping and talking. That's not yours to decide. You're in charge of only one. Yourself. Now, you may stir up all the sewage you wish. Some will thrive on your nonsense. Some won't. Have what fun you choose with it. You assure that you and I won't be friends. I have better taste. Blessings. Remember, this is my ONE contribution. Rave on as you wish.
  9. Artillery rocks; armor rolls. Tanki rocks and rolls!
  10. Firstly, I wasn't about to list all the rule violations that apply. I chose two of many to draw attention to the fact that discussants are being punished and censured for what one may only imagine since their posts are removed. Knowing some, I'm doubtful that they ere blatantly out of conformance with rules. Maintaining Forum etiquette and rules is vital, but so is unfettered, open discussion particularly when it's encouraged and solicited. I addressed several items aside from this. Why did you elect not to address those, esteemed Tanker? An anecdote relative to Robbie's remark. A young boy had never spoken. His family sought medical, psychological and professional help of any imaginable sort in hopes to get his voice to come forth. Thanksgiving dinner, the ritual feast, was tabled. As grace was said and dishes passed, everyone was surprised to hear from him, "The gravy's tepid." Joyful cheers rang out. When they settled a bit, the mother flushed. After several remarks about his years of stoic silence, she asked why he was stone silent for so long. His replay? "Up till now everything's been okay." ;-)
  11. In the US we have Las Vegas, Reno and a few other places where fools can go to gamble and nearly always be parted with their money. In Cyberland games, we can count on Tanki to provide gambling excitement, too. When a Tanker buys at great investment bodies and turrets, they buy at the assumption of those items performing as advertised at the time of purchase. In the RB all that changed. Given, we were refunded, yet many made their initial purchases predicated upon the previous performance of said items. For example, my preferred ride was Viking, Ricochet and various skins. I bought Viking and Rico initially at full price only to learn after purchase that each had lost substantial performance aspects. They were severely disappointing just as placing a hefty wager on the pass line in craps merely to see snake eyes finish the roll of the dice and my investment to drift away. The smart Tankers keep watch for discounted buying opportunities as I did for later purchases. Yet even that disciplined approach fails when performance aspects reveal cause for disappointment. This drives one to madness and rage when Tanki elects to make "changes" yet again, most often not providing the option of refund when a purchased item is altered or "nerfed" as some appear to favor calling it. Again Tankers place their bets and hope to win, but the bets are predicated upon ever changing whims of development, change and "surprises." Sorry, Semyon, but fewer surprises and more predictability marks my preference. I'd like to have the advertised performance of my purchases with hard earned lucre deliver as advertised. Another issue is the removal of re-rigging options during matches without losing earned progress and re-access to the match. Once we could make changes within the five minute game pause limit; now we can't. I keep reading that the option to re-rig is "coming." Will it be in my lifetime? Will it be an additional expense to do it? Will it ever come? What's the point of buying and building an expansive and expensive garage if we can't access alternative rigs based upon how the teams are equipped and performing? The RB and it's new economics ravaged my garage. I've rebuilt it somewhat, but I can't use it strategically due to the proviso that prohibits my free access to it during matches. What point is there in striving to expand a very expensive equipment palette if one cannot access it and use it fully? Fair? I think not. I remain an ardent fan of the game, generally, else I'd not be here and active, and I'd not take this time to opine. Finally, why is it that this and other topic threads often begin with "Let's discuss," yet discussants seem to suffer violations, bans and punishments for discussing? If you solicit discussion, aside from profanities, vulgarities and blatant insults, discussion ought to proceed with openness and encouragement rather than fear and intimidation that censure may come. Thanks for the opportunity to vent and for a fine game and recreation . . . with considerations.
  12. Well, 32 pages in virtually assures this won't be read, but I'll whiz in the wind anyway. What point is there in buying kits when one already has par, large or small, of the kit? There one throws assets in the lake hoping a generous, beautiful mermaid rises to fulfill one's wishes. Particularly I note Tanki keeps coming up with nifty updates that reach in pockets to find what there may be plundered. Riddle me this, and do NOT tell me "It's in the developers plans." What point exists in amassing an expansive garage when one cannot, mid-match, re-rig without losing game standing or assets gained thus far in play? There was a time one could leave under the five minute wait time, enter and use garage, and return to the game. What is the point of amassing the sort of garage I and many have if we aren't able to use it? We're locked into using the rig with which we entered or leave or gains and game spot to re-rig if we wish. Tanki Devs seem able to do all sorts of magic if it sets additional profit features. Don't misunderstand. I appreciate a profit motive and the clear need for the project to profit in order to maintain, enhance and exist. I also appreciated tactics for players. I'm an actual combat veteran. When what we were using was not working to advantage, we changed to another option among what we had. The game is predicated upon battle tactics. Why shouldn't players enjoy the option to re-rig especially since it would require nearly no work having previously worked in the game? Hmm. Unless . . . the challenge were to find another way to bring cash into the game in order that players might use their entire inventories. As usual, money impacts ethics. Get with it, Devs. Enable us to use what we own. When you do, I might start buying more. Thank you.

    Yin yang.

It's been a while since I ranted; I'm overdue. Here, I amend. Two things are on my mind. Firstly, having been severely discontent with the "new economics," I join those who've complained, and I join those who've celebrated the adjustment made by the Gods of Tanki. Thank you for the improvement on earning potential. The new economics still disquiet. Clearly they've placed a mountain of pressure on struggling Tankers endeavoring to improve. This demonstrates some improvement. Some! So it goes. The bigger issue to me is the prohibition or inability to change rigs during matches. Consider, please. What IS the point of earning in order to fatten one's garage if one has no option to exploit that garage?!? Upon entering a match, Tankers lay on to do as best they may. Given the tenor of the fight, frequently one discerns that a different rig might enhance one's capability to fight best. Then the decision dawns. Shall one leave to change rigs and lose whatever progress has been made, or shall one stay with a lesser rig and do as best can be done? An option to leave the match long enough without losing progress in order to change rigs is logically and ethically apropos. Here's my query. We are encouraged by the structure of the game to earn in order to execute greater purchase, to buy and buy and buy, yet we aren't able to use, at will and for advantage, whatever we've purchased without losing our gained standing n the match. This marks a monstrous failure for parity and equality within the game. What in blue blazes is the point of earning, purchasing and owning a fat city garage if one is unable to access one's fattened inventory?!? Really! This is wholly counter to the aspect of increasing one's wealth and/or inventory in order to gain advantage in the contests. I earnestly appeal to the Devs and Gods of Tanki to amend this. Permit those who've earned and accrued to access and use what they've purchased without penalty. It's a simple concept summed in a single word. Justice! Thank you for your attention. Blessings. MD21

    changing weapons/tankis

Word!!! @ Pauleta48, that used to work. Since the most recent update, it doesn't. Tanki encourages earning crystals and purchasing vast inventories for one's garage, however, what is the point of a vast garage if you cannot use it!?! There's no sensible reason to prohibit Tankers going to their garages to re-rig for the particular battle and/or opponents they're facing. Previously, that could be done. Then an expansive garage had merit and sense. Now, it can't be done without losing one's standing, score and awards in the match. Change it! It's reasonable and fair. MD21

The English Forum is dying ! Here are some of the reasons.

Good, analytical rant, CPF. I hope it gains some traction.

    You must be kidding me

Profanity, vulgarity and swearing offer evidence of weak vocabularies, often weak minds and certainly lack of self-control. This is a public space. Language ought to be in line with what would be spoken at a family holiday table, in a holy place or with your senior relatives, religious leaders or employers with whom you apply for work. If you can't/won't control yourself, it's fit for the system to control what you refuse to. You who say it "makes me feel better" must really be deficient. If it makes one feel better, that one is a moron, immature twerp or all around stooge who owns no right to feel better particularly at the expense of whomever their tiny minds choose to lambaste in their fits of pique. You don't have to grow up, but life improves for those ho do. Wherever you are you may soil or cleanse. If you favor soiling apply that to your toilet. Before long, the stench and the hot rash will help you understand what societal standards apparently don't. "Do, or do not. There is no try." [Great philosopher, Yoda]

    High praise and commendations Developers!

Yesterday I played 4-5 games in maps of varying size and complexity. I experienced categorically no lag! None! Outstanding! MadDog21
  19. MadDog21

    Stop doing giant maps!

The new maps are complex and interesting. Here's a simple tip. If you dislike "big maps," don't play those. To deny others that access is foolish. MD21

    The infernal price of lag.

by8, sheath your rapier-like wit till you put an edge on the blade. You contribute nothing except for proof of your immaturity and status as a fool. Go play with you action figures aka dolls. MD21

    The infernal price of lag.

Thanks for your effort, BK, but it's happened so frequently I've developed the habit of checking my crystal count prior to my final refresh. Upon returning and as described in my original post, there is no change, hence Im NOT receiving earned points or crystals.
  23. MadDog21

    The infernal price of lag.

If this belongs in complaints, it is one, please move it for me. I couldn't see the complaints rules, and I don't care to violate those and get skinned for it. Twice today while engaging in long, protracted battles in Iran and Ft. Knox III and yesterday in Crash, the lag was incessant. The answer, of course, for the spinning tanks and the inability to continue competing is to refresh the browser which I did repeatedly, far, far too often. That in itself is maddeningly frustrating, but the coup de gras was at the last flag. Lagging again, I refreshed to finish the matches. Upon the reload completing, the last flag had been capped, the match reset to new and I earned absolutely nothing for my efforts and expenditures in my very temperate use of drugs. These were long contests, and my earnings would've been substantial. No joy thanks to incessant lagging. Before some helpful soul indicts my computer and/or ISP, I use a very current and hot MAC Quad Pro and best cable ISP available in the US. The cause is not on my end for these frustrations. I appeal to Tanki Developers to get this corrected. It's patently unfair as well as frustrating. Enough recent frustration comes with the lack of parity with the rebalance. Refunding crystals, then hiking the cost for repurchases substantially while diminishing the performance of equipment twists my knickers more than enough. The merits or demerits of that philosophy will reveal in time, but the failed performance of the game is inexcusable. The rumor mill suggests departure of many Tankers. I think that's mostly whining and caterwauling, but, surely, some leave in disgust. I wouldn't consider departing due to the RB, but, if the performance of the game continues to squander my resources and time, and it denies me what is my due as well as the pleasure of the play, then the thought of bidding adieu burbles. Please, Tanki, turn your attention toward this. You police and moderate the game and chat for so-called "fair play," but the most heinous "cheat" is when the game's failed performance cheats the Tankers. Thanks for your ear. Blessings. MadDog21
  24. Had enough time to declare Tanki is unplayable. I show reasonable FPS, but steering, aiming, avoiding over-controlling are all impossible. Turn the tank or turret, and the turn continues. Steer to a point at which a turn is keyed; continue straight on. Turn turret to fire? It rotates completely leaving more than enough time for an opponent to pop you. This isn't fun, pleasurable or enjoyable. i don't know it to be related to the rebalance, but such behaviors were very rare before. Now they're constant. One more thing since I've mounted a rant. I understand the motive for profit. I'm American, the land of free enterprise, but buying rank stinks. It's offensive to any who earned it,and it makes ranking pointless. Surely other means for profit exist. I won't be 'round much till I hear that game play has become possible again. Best wishes, blessings and Merry Christmas. MD21
  25. Prior to re-balance (RB), I had nearly everything M3. I've been doing Tanki for a while. :) Having ciphered prices, I certainly cannot replace all that I want, but consider this. I understand the concept of delayed gratification. I know how to manage assets and exploit opportunities. Hence I'll do as I did previously. I'll buy what I need to function (Did that with "retail" purchases of Viking M3, Ricochet M3 and Picasso.), then I'll wait on sale opportunities to regain lost assets at improved cost. The concept is known as delayed gratification. Google it if you don't understand it. The cookie demonstration is especially telling. Many players are youthful and suffering from covetous and what my grandfather termed as "money burning a hole in their pockets." Of course all are free to choose their own path, but I encourage buying conservatively. You may look at your "refund" and think you're insanely wealthy, but all will dribble away, especially if you squander what you have. I played two matches yesterday to learn of the altered and disappointing performance of the Rico which runs out of shots far too quickly and the diminished speed of the Viking. I also learned that many are suffering drug madness. Continue! Your assets will fade quickly, and you'll have made no significant improvement on your long term assets, your tanks, turrets and skins. Burn up those drugs and enjoy temporary feelings of invincibility, or temper your ambitions with plans and actions for long term, permanent gain. Finally, be advised there won't be another RB, and earning/buying crystals will be at least as challenging as previously if not more so. This, of course, is worth only what you paid to read it. :) MadDog21
