Magnum can one-shot a defenseless Titan with DD.

Vulcan now is a flamethrower but it shoots bullets. I guess it's good for holding down a line against anyone stupid enough to blindly charge into it?

By that logic, Shaft and Magnum are also too weak because a RK can outpace the damage of both of them on a medium hull. Am I correct?

Am I missing something here? Why is Rail being called "weak"? Sure Magnum shook up the DPS pecking order, but Rail remains the only turret with both penetration AND no damage falloff over range. Two things that make it unique gameplay-wise. It has it's niche; Being the noscope weapon. Being a long-ranged direct supportive fire weapon.

Not that it excuses me, but I don't like camping with any turret in general. If you see me with a Magnum, chances are I'm roaming around and taking shots where they're needed based on my current terrain. It makes it feel the slightest bit challenging when at any moment I might have to stop what I'm doing and try to hit a Wasp with the flag from across the map.

Striker; Direct hit missiles - The missiles travel 50% faster and hit twice as hard in exchange for no splash damage whatsoever.

There are maps like that everywhere. I honestly prefer knowing what each team's terrain entails than the old Polygon where it was no-man's-land everywhere and the spawns were random.

In order of most favorite to least; Magnum, Striker, Isida, Vulcan, Railgun, Shaft, Smoky, Thunder, Hammer, Freeze, Firebird, Ricochet, and Twins.

I'd say I'm a solid five. It mostly just comes from playing the game for a straight four years and perfecting the art of mediocrity.

Am I the only one who misses the electrical beam? It fit it much better and rounded out the melee turrets by giving them elemental attributes.

I don't believe in pocketing people, it's the healing equivalent of camping.

I know but, I just healed a Titan and sent him on his way and within the process of me turning my turret he's already back down to half health. I think my presence just makes them overly-cocky.

Polygon is playable for light hulls now. So that's something.

Again, cycloptic. They wouldn't even notice me because they sit there fully scoped waiting for someone to come into view.

How much larger is Magnum compared to Shaft? They seem to be about the same length.
