Against Shafts, maybe. I tend to use the lock on specifically on cycloptic Mammoth-Shafts because even if they notice they're to slow and big to avoid it.

I'll say it once and I'll say it again; There's specialization and there's redundancy. Specialization would be a Thunder to attack the enemy team's light hulls, a Wasp of our own with something like Hammer to finish them off, and a Shaft bringing up the rear. Redundancy would be three Wasps with Shaft attacking with one Mammoth Shaft defending.

Or, learn to conserve your ammunition. Fire in bursts.

I haven't had any problems with Railgun. Even if it has a somewhat random pattern for it's damage, I can still follow common sense and know that the shots needed for the kill increases by twos every tier of armor. So lights are two, mediums are four, and heavies are six. ...Roughly.

You did good. Now go to sleep and have a good rest of your Tanksgiving, and thank you.

Two hours bois. Two hours.

This does seem right up their ally. But I'm giving them the benefit of the doubt and saying it was rushed so they could have Thanksgiving, hence the slow response and abrupt nuking of the servers. C'mon fellas, they're human too!

If it ever happens again my advice is to be discrete, head for the off corners, and especially leave mines through the tunnels where they don't go through a dropping animation. That means they respawn faster, are out of the way, and they're covered by mines.

I was in a Tribute CP and just made a circular run through the middle area, the building behind, and the trench and picked up about two hundred crates doing that. All while cycling through every color on the rainbow and pooping mines everywhere.

I got Spectrum, Ibris, Lumberjack... Oh yeah, and M1 Striker and Hunter at like Staff Sergeant.

I think what's happening is they're freaking out and trying to come up with a decision to appease everyone. They wouldn't just freak out and ban everyone over some missed hyphen or backdash.

Hey, even if it doesn't stay I had an amazing Tanksgiving. HBY?
-
My only regret is that it was my other alt. If it were my Magnum account god help us all.
-
Currently praying despite being atheist...
-
If they don't my alt is friggin' STACKED now. I'm talking fully-mued and with paints and about thirty more crates to go.

Whatever mane. It was an experience to say the least.

Nah. It's just... "I know! With my friendly neighborhood Isida healing me, I'm certain I can tank three Railgun shots and a Shaft!"
-
On this account it was an extended Monte Carlo TDM. Everyone had a great time and we wished each other good luck at the end.
-
Playing only healing with Isida is the closest experience anyone can have to being a single mom with eight ADHD-ridden kids.

Which leads to a tip from someone who played Striker when it came out then abandoned it for Magnum; Tilt. You have to tilt to lessen the distance between you and your target. If possible, dive down from a ledge to take a downwards-angled shot that has less distance to travel and might surprise them.

It's certainly big, and the battles are either in a floating stadium or take place on gigantic islands floating over an abyss.

So this is less of a new turret and more of a proposed change for two existing turrets; Magnum and Striker. I think that they should be merged into a single turret that's a Mobile Rocket Launcher similar to the Katushya. As it stands now, Magnum has overshadowed Striker by a shocking degree. So, my proposed hybrid to replace the two; It has two firing modes like Striker and can rotate, but it's locked in a twenty degree angle. It can still fire over barriers and the like but it will have a much larger silhouette making it easier to take out with Shaft and way more easily targeted. If space is tapped, it will fire a single rocket out of a salvo of four at the lowest possible velocity, which is enough to catch the very tip of a Mammoth pressed straight up against it. On the other hand, if you hold down the spacebar it begins charging the remaining rockets like a Magnum shell and can launch them a surprising distance, but it requires a good sense of prediction or just plain skill to land the salvo since they are projectiles and travel slower. This will make it more like both turret's intended functions, combining the high risk high reward of locking on with Striker with the supposed skill of calculating Magnum's shells. In return for the somewhat lowered damage for the individual rockets it reloads similar to Hammer, with the difference being it can begin firing without loading all four rockets. However, like Hammer, it CANNOT resume reloading until the salvo is emptied again. This will give it spamability, but not to an overpowered degree. Thoughts?

Nah. Most Hammers and Thunders I know are pretty nice.
