    Let's Discuss Railgun!

"Oh dear me! He appears to have equipped protection for my turret and has Doubled his Armor! A shame I have a button I can press to Double my Power..." Am I missing something? All protection does is make them have to be shot more. It doesn't impair your aim or anything!

    Let's Discuss "Rugby mode"

This gamemode is one sided. If one team gets the upper hand as far as overdrives, land gained, etc. they can just continuously steamroll the other until they win. Making the objective spawn in the middle of the map is stupid enough already, since the decisive midfield battle pretty much dictates who wins. The reason CP works is because the points don't move and they can be overtaken. Half the time my team won't even know what the objective IS, and it's not like the enemy is going to give it to them so they can learn. It's a terrible learning environment, encourages spawncamping, and it's either a stalemate or a steamroll. Sounds like Turbine CTF found it's way into Tanki!

    Let's Discuss Isida!

I tried it earlier and Mammy Isida is fun. You can basically be a mobile barrier and heal teammates while blocking enemy fire so long as they don't have splash damage.

    Luck, Drugs, & Skill

Start from the bottom, conserve, and stockpile. I can't say it any other way; before you get started, you're going to have to scavenge. Play just for the missions and stockpile, then once you have enough play for fun. Tanki's like school, once you finish your work you get time to yourself.
  5. Thunder alt; Extra powder. +50% Splash damage, +25% reload, user explodes violently and damages any nearby teammates upon death.
  6. Counteracts like a freeze putting the fire out. I think it should prevent healing for a moment, then begin healing again. In layman's terms.

    Annoying Turrets - 2017 Poll

I'd say the amount is the same as the Thunders that utilize their splash damage and the Magnums that go over ten degrees.
  8. Nope. Isida counteracts negative effects like afterburn or freezing. I was thinking more like the tank is being burned and the nanobots are being killed off as they attempt the repairs, making the overall rate slower by a small percentage.

    Are XP/BP players toxic?

Titan or even Dictator are better hulls for Railgun anyhow. Here's five reasons why; 1. Wasp-Rail takes two shots from it's own weapon to die 2. The speed is meaningless when you have zero damage falloff. You won't be engaging at close range often unless you're bad. 3. If you're going to hug a wall anyways, you might as well go for some more armor to survive in long-ranged EOF. 4. The thing I noticed is when you have too much of something, in this case speed, you tend to forsake every last bit of it. Most of them camp a barrier, which as I said before is much more risky in general because of how frail Wasp is. 5. All the "skill" involved in XP/BP only applies when it's enforced by everyone in the battle. Two hits to kill someone no matter what is fair enough, anyways, but outside of format battles it's relatively weak. Wasp and Hornet are both more suited to flag running or lone wolfing. In a battle with all the other turrets, you can't survive against most in a direct encounter and Railgun is horrible for escaping with the flag. So that's two of the roles down. What's left? Camping and playing a mobile support role. With limited HP.

XP/BP is toxic. Rise above, join the Titan-Rail (TR) army!

    What Tank Are You?

I'd say I'm a solid Hunter Firebird. I've got a slightly faster gait than most people and I tend to take shortcuts through hallways, and in a fight I would most likely shove someone down some stairs and let gravity take over the rest.
  12. I posted my idea in another thread about this; What if afterburn reduced the effect of healing from Isidas?

    Annoying Turrets - 2017 Poll

True, but those turrets take brain cells.

What's your favourite TO paint? And why?

I kind of want one of the upcoming event paints that has a peppermint stripe pattern. It looks delicious but I forgot which one it was.

    Ideas for Turrets!

Using the mines as a deterrent is in and of itself useful. Area denial would be crucial in CTF.

    Let's Discuss Railgun!

I think what he means is damage falloff. And no, the lack of it is something that makes Railgun unique.

    Annoying Turrets - 2017 Poll

You're complaining about the opportunist turret for taking advantage of an opportunity?

    Ideas for Turrets!

I think it could work, but are they generated from the turret or taken from my garage? I'd actually like a turret that could lay a minefield, it would make for the perfect area denial utility. My main issue is how it would work in Deathmatch, since it can be avoided by just not going onto the mines.

    Interesting Daily Facts

Fun fact, almost every map in the game is named after a real world city. Almost.

What's your favourite TO paint? And why?

Disco. I like obnoxious, vibrant patterns.

    When you were a nub...

I used Mammoth Rail thinking I could just tank Shaft hits and return fire. It was sad. Then I saved up for Shaft and had my twelve year old mind blown.
  22. I suppose it would promote doing so like airblasting does in TF2. In that game if you extinguish a teammate you get some health back.

    When you were a nub...

Since the game used "Protection" instead of "HP" or "Health", I thought different hulls had different levels of defense instead of more HP.
  24. Technically you already do get the EXP for healing them with Isida. The removal of the effects is a nice bonus. Would those stack, or would it remain just EXP for healing?
