Yes, narrowing down the gap level between players in the same battles would be beneficial with that few tanks. totally good idea, a battle lobby so all start at the same time and preparation time.

When you double the power of the twins does that mean it will have 4 barrels? ? It could be fun, as long as it stay a test or just a new battle mode. Doubling Viking OD time, yeah, but wait once you killed the 6 opponents there are still 10 seconds left of it... what will i do with these extra seconds? ? The middle of the battle field will look like a pile of tank around a god box but without the goldbox ?

What they enjoy about it is the Golbox rain and that's about it. The map theme could be daylight, on a tiny map or an overly large map (Berlin) or on the moon with low gravity, GB rain will be always popular and attract player for a day or two. The night theme might be popular there and in pro-battle but it's mainly due to being different than MM, or to enjoy special effect or for a romantic date (disclaimer: TO is not a dating site ?). It is true that night theme fit more halloween and xmas/winter event.

The temperature wiki and the augment page are 2 differents pages - they might not be synchronized. The difference is not that big as the turret would be could down to -1 in less than a second in both case so the return to temperature of 0 would take the same time. As soon as the temperature of the tank becomes less than zero, it begins to return to its original state at a rate of 0.25/s. Thus, after exposure, the tank which has been cooled to the minimum temperature level (-1) will be slowed down for 4 seconds (1 / 0.25 => 4s). The system only count temperature recovery once per second. Turret freezing rate is 0.6/s -> so about 1.2 second is required to reach temperature of -1. With the alteration +100% (in the the example of the temperature wiki page) that would be a freezing rate of 1.2/s -> 0.8 second is required to reach temperature of -1. If indeed it is +200% (as per the spec of the augment wiki page) it would be a freezing rate of be 1.8/s, so about half a second for the tank to reach temperature of -1. If the you attacked for 0.5s (2 ticks) the turrets is could down to -0.6 (+100%), or -1 (+200%). The calculation will give you -1.2 but the maximum is -1. From -0.6 it takes 3 seconds to defrost and the speed will move from 46% to 100%. From -1 it takes 4 seconds to defrost and the speed will move form 10% (the minimum) to 100%. The defrosting of 0.25/s is a continuous process, but as the cooling is a faster rate (+0.6 standard equipment) it would only start when you stop attacking. In about 1 second to 2 seconds attack the turret temperature is at -1. From that point it would take 4 seconds to completely defrost. -

You missed the point, it was a sarcastic topic in the first place. ? I agree with what you said, we need devs and buyers. However TO need F2P too, they are the bulk of the players pool, when the gap become too wide F2P players leave (challenges and skin where impossible to get, 1/100 would do the old challenges, while now 1/20 will do it and therefore play longer for a good benefit). Less F2P players and buyers eventually will play between each others and will be queing for a longer time, and they will leave too. That is not a good scenario. TO must balance benefits for both category, but since Drones and all, benefit have been very much toward buyers. I don't think there are that many left to celebrate about the last 2 years TO strategy. Furthermore TO drastically increased the cost of everything (to compensate for the loss of buyers? or greed?). So even now it is all expensive even for buyers, and TO is currently doing an arms race; better, stronger, faster and to stay appealing to VIP and justify price. We need dev to make new stuff and improve other bits, ok, but more early release and cosmetics and less P2W - please. Yes 11 years is great, kudos... but how many more years left at this rate? What are my odds for this (i am looking for the Hornet one)? I forgot one thing, TO does not do any advertising and does not have a publisher, so most of the exposure they get is mainly from the F2P players on social medias, consequently the less of them the less exposure the game get, so if you kill F2P you kill exposure too, and eventually the game, that would stay anecdotic to Perm region, somewhere in Russia. Since AP implementation (to buy with tankoins and Ultra) I have reduced from 5 to 3 stars the rating on mobile for TO.

Currently these immunity are very powerful, that is equivalent to 100% protection module on one effect! Most of all they are limited to a few players. If you allow two slots of these, then it is dead end for F 2 P players. One should think of making the game more fun, not more painful...

It is one way to look at it, but then it would require to do it for all drones and to unlocked them all at low rank. My personal feeling is that it is too strong too early, the order of drone could be altered to reflect the increase of power of the drone series (and the increase of supplies consumed): For example for the Offensive series: change the order of unlock for Blaster and Booster, have Blaster first and then Booster. Blaster Double Damage consumed: 1 140 000 Brigadier Booster Double Damage consumed: 3 200 000 Marshal For example for the Defensive series: Lifeguard then Saboteur then Defender Lifeguard Repair Kits consumed: 2 90 000 First Lieutenant Saboteur Mines consumed: 4 140 000 Major General Defender Double Armor consumed: 3 200 000 Field Marshal

The problem is the way MM works, the less player the more time you need to wait to get into a battle. Even when we had 40k players 7 minutes 8v8 was a stretch. Now we have 4 time less players so the queuing is long and will getting longer (as we still not gain more players). The only way to cut queuing is to artificially increase the number of battles, to do that you can reduce the number of player per battles and reduce the time of each battle. What you suggest is the actual opposite, your proposal will increase and worsen queuing time. The experiment is just to help with the symptom, IMO it does not fix or address the real problem. The experiment is also likely to stay as the new standard. There is also more to that, don't forget that additionally tanks with melee turret will have more HP and the map would be smaller - bring back your Mammy-Isida to rule them all. To address low player number at special time of the day they could have done that (but not at pick time), but a long time ago, now it seems a bit too late.

I can feel the strength of the defender drone when not playing with Hornet. It takes a lot of time and many players to kill it once. By the time we dealt with it, our team lost 3 CP. Then he respawned. Defender and Booster drones should not be available before generalissimo/legend.
